Helping Families Honor the Lives Of Those They Love
4/30/1999 - 6/20/2013My best friend. My shadow. You have always been there to lick tears from my face, keep me company and make my days worth while with your wagging tail. I miss you so bad. I guess i needed you more than you needed me, and i thank god for every second i've had you. I promised you, no more needles, pills, chemo, or radiation. You can now run free and healthy. You are my baby, my 4th child..I have had many animals in my life and i have loved them as i do you, but you and i shared an immediate bond. it's true what they say animals pick us not the other way around. Bowser baby had me pegged from the first moment i lsaw his little fuzzy self. I wish I could be there for you now, please wait for me.Debbie Ramseyyoungsville, North CarolinaJune 20, 2013

Princess Mastronardi
6/15/2013It's hard to put into words how much Princess meant to our family. We looked forward to seeing her when we woke up in the morning, came home from being out, and even when she would nudge the bathroom door open to see us in a private moment. We will miss how excited she would get when we'd grab her leash to go for a walk. Over all we will miss her presence. She was a sweet older dog who we adopted from a shelter and was content to a family around her. Giving her the feeling of contentment gave us joy in return. Bye my sweet Princess.Jordan MastronardiCoral Springs, FloridaJune 16, 2013

1/1/2003 - 6/11/2013THE LAST BATTLE

If it should be that I grow frail and weak
And pain should keep me from my sleep,
Then will you do what must be done,
For this -- the last battle -- can't be won.

You will be sad I understand,
But don't let grief then stay your hand,
For on this day, more than the rest,
Your love and friendship must stand the test.

We have had so many happy years,
You wouldn't want me to suffer so.
When the time comes, please, let me go.
Take me to where to my needs they'll tend.

Only, stay with me till the end
And hold me firm and speak to me
Until my eyes no longer see.

I know in time you will agree
It is a kindness you do to me.
Although my tail its last has waved,
From pain and suffering I have been saved.

Don't grieve that it must be you
Who has to decide this thing to do;
We've been so close -- we two -- these years,
Don't let your heart hold any tears.

11/4/1992 - 6/6/2013Our beautiful girl, we could fill volumes with 20 years of stories of you! Always so gentle, sweet and curious. How you loved investigating all those boxes and bags, rolling in that catnip, chasing your toys, strolling into the kitchen to see if we were making something you might like, watching the world from the patios and napping in the sun. In your later years, we found you favored a lap over anyplace else to rest and it was an honor to accommodate you. We were blessed to have you in our lives and it pained us to see you leave, but you needed to be free. You will remain in our memories and hearts forever. Love, Mom and Dad.Paula DurfeeNorth Lauderdale, FloridaJune 13, 2013
6/4/2013 - 6/12/2013Maizey! There is such a deafening silence since you left our lives. You were so full of life and unconditional love that there will always be a hole in my heart and in my soul. But I also rejoice in the divine gift you were to my life for thirteen years! I am so relieved that you are pain free and in peace! And although I will struggle to go on with my journey here on earth without you, I know I will see you again. That gives me great comfort. All my love to you my sweet, brave, and loyal friend!Kris PickensChapin, South CarolinaJune 13, 2013
