Helping Families Honor the Lives Of Those They Love
Bandit
4/28/2016 - 4/5/2016Bandit was the sweetest, most loyal baby our family every had. He loved his family so! (Even his cat brothers!) He was protective, yet so gentle. He loved to watch the kids play, go for rides in the truck and just be with his Daddy! We already miss him so! We miss the sound of his paws on the hardwood floors and his barking to signal it was time to eat. His huge presence in our house is noticeably missing.... But, we know he is always with us and he lives on always in our hearts and memories! We love you, Bandit!

Until we meet again.

Buddy
4/10/2016We will miss Buddy every day. Our youngest son, Liam, gave him the nickname "Puuh" which is pronounced like "puh" but for some reason there is an extra u in it. This is a photo of "Darth Puuh" -- Buddy hiding under the blankets.Decatur, GeorgiaApril 11, 2016

Meejo Lanning
5/7/2005 - 3/13/2016" OUR PRECIOUS MEEJO"
The day you went to rest, you took a big piece of us with you.
There are no words to describe the heart break and emptiness we are going through without you and your sloppy chops.
You will always live within our heart and soul. We are forever blessed that us 3 were brought together in this life.
The world was a better & brighter place with you in it. You, Poo Poo will always be the smile on our face!!

Lulu
4/2/2016Found wandering on the streets with an imbedded collar 17 years ago, we named this young stray “Cindy Lou Who?” since she wore no identification. Little did we know how this little dog would have such a big impact in our lives. Over the years, her zest for life and naughtiness made us shake our heads …and laugh. Cindy Lou Who quickly became LuLu. She earned the nickname “Lucipher” for those times when her Australian Cattle Dog personality came alive…like the time when, within one hour of brining her home to live with us, she leapt up on the washing machine and out through an open window. In her early years, she would bolt like lightening out the front door – only to bound in and out of our neighbor’s bushes to chase squirrels and cats. She would hear us calling and chasing in frustration, look back at us and keep going…but she never went far and she never hurt an animal.
LuLu was fearless. We tried to channel her energy and high drive into something that she’d enjoy. She was a natural at agility and took to the equipment with no issues. The instructor was especially impressed that she aced the teeter-totter with glee. If it weren’t for the darned crickets that would jump nearby - and – Zoom! She was off the equipment and chasing them in the open field where we practiced.
Another “Lucipher” moment was when she was calmly enjoying a car ride in the back seat with the window half open. The next thing I knew, she jumped – as my car was going 25 MPH – to chase the squirrel she’d spotted. While my heart was racing at this dangerous move, LuLu was no worse for the attempt.
And once, when our neighbors were leaving our house, LuLu decided to use her herding abilities by biting at the man’s ankles. Ok – maybe this happened to more than one visitor. wink emoticon
It only seems right that I would take the time to share with others how perfect this imperfect dog was. LuLu, our hearts ache today and we will miss you so very much. Run with your brothers – and chase those cats and squirrels – until we see you again someday. LuLu, Doo Doo, Roo Roo, Roody girl, Lucipher. XXXOOO

Paris
8/3/2004 - 4/3/2016We've had a lot of dogs over the years and loved each and every one of them and considered them family, but there was something really special about Paris. Everyone that met her absolutely loved her. She had a way of lighting up everyone's day and having met her seemed to always leave an impression on them. At her passing I can't tell you the all the hearts that were broken. Especially ours . I've always believed that dogs are a gift from god how else could someone bring so much love devotion and happiness to your life. And how big is the hole that is left in our hearts. We love you Paris and always will. I know you are no longer in pain , and selfishly I'd give anything for you to still be with us. Until we meet again Kim IrvanMidland, North CarolinaApril 8, 2016
Kirby
2/1/2000 - 4/4/2016Kirby, Our home seems so empty without him here. Kirby Lived with us on our sailboat for 8 years & then on our Motorhome for 2yrs. He was always with us. He loved people. He could be trusted off leash & if we ever missed him we always new where to find either at the neighbors house waiting for treats or at some ones boat getting treats. We always said he was human in a furry body. Having him since he was just 10 weeks old from a Golden Retriever litter of 8 he & one other were the only black ones in the litter. Having him was like raising a 10 year old boy except he could burp like a adult Man. He will be greatly miss.

Thanks so much to Lap of Love,
Dr. Nil & Dr Aimee you helped us say our goodbyes to our boy the way he deserved.

Chloe
8/1/2002 - 4/6/2016On April 6, 2016 Chloe was helped to the Rainbow bridge with the assistance of Dr. Dana Lewis and Lap of Love surrounded by her family that loved her very, very much. It was a decision that was not made lightly. It was heartbreaking to watch our once very active friend deteriorating before our eyes. The house seems so empty and quiet now without you. We already miss her terribly and hope she is at peace and free from any pain or discomfort. The house feels so empty and quiet though we still seem to hear her panting and the click of her nails on the floor. We know in time our pain will lessen and she will always remain in our heart. She was a part of our family and a huge part of our lives. We are so thankful for her love, affection, humor and loyalty. For teaching us to live in the moment and have fun. Her energy was contagious and I will miss our daily, lengthy walks together.

Go chase those squirrels girl. We love you.

Love,
Brian, Marian, Hailey & Sean
