Little Ann "Annie"
1/4/2000 - 12/9/2013It's been 14 years but it seems like a week
You were rescued back then while wandering the street
and my co-worker brought you in so we could meet
He said, you have a house and you need a dog too!
After some contemplation I decided it was true
I took you home and named you Little Ann
There wasn't room for two, so no Big Dan
You would sleep on the sofa and even the bed
You would play with your monkey and try to take off his head
You wouldn't play fetch when I would throw you a ball
You did fetch it once but in the end that was all
Which proved how smart you were, maybe smarter than me
If I wanted the ball, why throw it you see
We had lots of fun, you and my friends
There was always someone around to handle loose ends
I finally got married and you welcomed them all
We had a new family and it's been a ball
Well time has caught up and as all great friendships do
There comes a time when they unfortunately are through
You loved me unconditionally from day one to the end
That is why you will always be my best friend
Although a part of my heart and soul are with you
You will always be with me until I am through
I love you Little Ann and will ALWAYS miss you

6/1/1998 - 12/22/2013T.T. was my special little boy for 15 years and I miss him tremendously. He loved to sit in the sunshine or on my lap whenever he could. If I sat on the couch, you could find T behind my head with his paw on my shoulder. Sometimes he would lay on my chest and we could feel our hearts beat. If I was sad, he would kiss my tears away. We had a very close bond as well as with his brother Sammy who we lost in 2011. I rescued them together from an abandoned barn in 1998 and this will always be the best decision I ever made. They both brought so much joy to my life. T had been sick since Thanksgiving and held on as long as he could for me. Now he's in Heaven with his brother Sammy and I will forever be grateful to Sara with Lap of Love for helping him pass so peacefully. Thank you for this opportunity to talk about T and to post his picture on your site. It will take some time to heal.Tracy Sheehan WallaceGreensboro, North CarolinaDecember 28, 2013

12/21/2002 - 12/21/2013A million thanks to Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice, Inc. and Dr. Madelyn for giving me the experience of saying goodbye to my beautiful boy Spanky here in our home. It was the absolute best that such a heartbreaking thing could be. It was the place that both I and my baby would be most comfortable, and I wouldn't now have it any other way.Leslie HendersonNew Orleans, LouisianaDecember 27, 2013
