Helping Families Honor the Lives Of Those They Love
Suzy Q
3/19/2016Suzy Q came bounding into our lives over 13 years ago on a Saturday - and so it was fitting that through the compassionate care of Dr. Tiffany with Lap of Love that we were able to hold and kiss her goodbye in our home this past Saturday.
Suzy's spirit defies definition! During her first week with us she had us trained and never let us forget who was in charge! She gave us lessons in love over and over - a love that would not ( and still won't) let us go. Her devotion - and the unbridled joy with which she dispensed it - was endless.
Suzy dedicated her life to providing our family with the most comforting and rewarding companionship imaginable. She will remain in our hearts until that time when we will be able to hold her again as she races across that Rainbow Bridge.
Oh Suzy Q - baby we love you - Suzy Q!

8/15/1994 - 3/25/2016Pembrook, we miss you so much. Even with seven other rescues in the house there is a noticeable void. For over 20 years you welcomed numerous animals into our home. We hope you are running and playing now just as you were when you were young and healthy and reunited with all your fury friends that went before you. We will be waiting for the day to meet you at the Rainbow Bridge.Edward VahlinNeptune Beach, FloridaMarch 29, 2016

5/18/2007 - 3/26/2016Kitty, you were the most beautiful and loving cat I could have ever asked for. You were always so happy to see us come home and you never failed to greet us at the door, even when it started to get too hard for you. You brought a warm precense to our home that is going to be missed very much. Thank you for being my best friend and for never leaving my side through all the good and bad times. My only prayer is that you know how much joy and love you gave us everyday. I know you are in a much better place where you can get all the belly rubs and treats you can ask for. We love you sweet girl. Until we meet again you will be forever be in my heart.Crystal MillerMaitland, FloridaMarch 27, 2016
Hudson richardson
11/1/2000 - 8/7/2015Our Hudson was a dog like no other in our hearts. You could see the love in his eyes and knew you were his world. Our wish is that he knew how he was our world. His absence is very strong, but our hearts are full in knowing that we gave him a great life and a peaceful farewell. His physical watch is now over, but we know he is watching from the rainbow bridge. Go, Huddy, go!Carrie RichardsonWake Forest, North CarolinaMarch 26, 2016

12/15/2010 - 3/20/2016Fiona my love you taught us so much about unconditional love. Your sweet disposition and playfulness won over every person you met. You were truly the "Queen" of the neighborhood and will be sorely missed by all. You showed us that Dog is truly God spelled backwardChris KieswetterPontiac, MichiganMarch 25, 2016
12/14/1999 - 3/15/2016My Levon was a sweet, shy, anxious guy. He was so loving, offering his belly for rubs to anyone who had earned his trust, then dashing for cover at a cough or sneeze. He enjoyed laying in the sun, talking to birds, squirrels, deer, and neighborhood stray cats. He secretly loved his sister, Penny, until her passing in 2013, and diplomatically tolerated his beagle sister, Lily.
He was a good man.

Oliver North
4/16/2007 - 3/23/2016I would like people to know that Dobermans are not all mean. Oliver North was the most gentle and sweet dog ever. He had an unbelievable presence and was very handsome. He got compliments everywhere he went. He was a big guy and you could not miss him. He was full of character and like to play and have fun. He also had a timid side in that he never like loud mechanical noises and was totally fearful of fireworks. The 4th of July and New Years eve were terrible for us, so were thunderstorms.

Oliver was a major part of our family for almost 9 years. I found that he had front leg bone cancer in November 2015 and we had radiation and chemo to try to prolong his life. I think it did add perhaps a month or two, but finally he was too lame and we were afraid the front leg would fracture. We are suffering terribly from his loss and hoping to some how recover from it. He brought tremendous joy to our lives and now it is nearly impossible to think of living without him. We love you Oliver and hope to meet you in heaven where our spirits will never be separated.

10/21/2003 - 3/23/2016Everything has it'seems time...
To everything there is a season,
A time for every purpose under heaven:
A time to be born,
And a time to die;
A time to plant,
And a time to harvest;
A time to kill,
And a time to heal;
A time to break down,
And a time to build up;
A time to weep,
And a time to laugh;
A time to mourn,
And a time to dance;
A time to cast away stones;
And a timeto gather stones;
A time to embrace,
And a time to refrain from embracing;
A time to gain,
And a time to lose;
A time to keep,
And a time to throw away;
A time to tear,
And a time to sew;
A time to keep silence,
And a time to dpeak;
A time to love,
And a time to hate;
A time of war,
And a time of peace.
