We are eternally grateful to have had Sophie in our lives. I hope she knows we will never forget her, she will never be replaced, always close in our hearts. Casper
1/1/2014Casper you will always remain in our hearts. You put up with so many foster animals coming in and out of our home for our Pontchartrain Humane Society. You put up with the silly costumes we dressed you in for parades. We miss you so much big boy. Roman and Maggie really are missing their buddy. I know we will be together again in heaven because I know our Lord even cared for the tiniest sparrow. Til we are together again my baby CasperCheryl RushtonSlidell, LouisianaJanuary 5, 2014
Biscotti
3/15/2000 - 12/16/2013Biscotti was the sweetest dog and we couldn't have been more lucky to have her in our lives.. Everyone in the building & neighborhood loved her. We would be stopped one or more times a day when walking her by people asking what kind of dog she was and wanting to pet her. Often cars stopped in traffic to ask about her. People would just smile when they saw her. She was a cross between a Cocker Spaniel and Golden Retriever. She was a little bigger than a Cocker and looked like a Golden puppy. People couldn't believe she was 13+ years old. In the last 2 1/4 years of her life she endured 7 tumor removal surgeries and 19 radiation treatments from which she always bounced right back even wanting to jump into the car the afternoon of her surgeries. The veterinary specialists office called her the "wonder dog." Fortunately the tumors never affected any vital functions so she felt and acted healthy right till the inevitable conclusion. We will always have a big hole in our hearts which at the same time will be filled with a multitude of wonderful memories.Alan & Marilyn EicoffBethesda, MarylandJanuary 4, 2014
