Helping Families Honor the Lives Of Those They Love
5/29/1998 - 12/20/2014December 20, 2014 was Allie's last day with us. She taught us the true meaning of what a "companion" animal is.
We will miss you Allie, but we are so thankful for the time that you spent with us.

6/17/2014 - 12/20/2014Maxi Man, you were the most precious, sweetest, funniest little man imaginable, and you were loved more than words can express. I can't imagine coming home and not finding you at the garage door waiting for me. You were my shadow, as grandma would say, and I miss you so much that it hurts. I knew you would have to leave us one day but I never thought it would be so soon. You gave us so much love over the years and just looking at that face made me smile. Yiu will always be my little man.

3/23/2002 - 12/19/2014In loving memory of Gigi, a beautiful 121/2 year old Bichon Frise. She had the prettiest, fluffy soft white fur that was groomed every two weeks. Gigi was our little girl and sweet little angel. We took her everywhere. She always had plenty of toys in the car, as well as classical music playing. She was always comfortable. Gigi was incredibly loyal and smart. We will always miss her.George and Zorisa SelakKildeer, IllinoisDecember 23, 2014
5/26/2003 - 12/15/2014On 12/15/14, the world lost a sweet soul. Never met a person she didn't like, or who didn't like her! Always happy to see you despite her physical pain. Everyone who saw her for the first time remarked how pretty she was. Even neighbors cried when they heard she was gone.

She was daddy's girl - we shared our days while mommy was at work. He is the one who when he first held her said "she's the one". Daddy always shared his breakfast with her, and mommy would give her the cream side of the Oreos. She was not quiet - she had a lot to say! So the apartment is far too quiet. Right now we can't stop crying. But even though our hearts are breaking, we are thankful she feels no more pain. Our very beautiful and loving fur baby, Bailie.

Pope Francis has said that yes, dogs do go to heaven. We love you, Bailie, and will be listening for you barking hello when our days too are done.

11/15/1997 - 12/20/2014Jake was one of the most chill dogs I've ever met, which made him awesome. If he heard something "threatening" he'd stand up and bark once and then lie back down as if to say, "my job here is done." If he saw a rabbit in the yard, he'd perk his head up to look and then settle back down. Silly rabbit. Not worth his time.

I told people all the time that he was my favorite "person" in the entire world and he really was. Best dog ever.

6/13/2000 - 12/20/2014Teva was my best friend, protector, and confidant. She was my sailing buddy and a sweet girl. She always greeted me with a wagging butt. I will remember her always. I miss you girl.Robert BallJacksonville, FloridaDecember 22, 2014
Deisel was my best friend, my confidant, my buddy , my shadow. He gave our family unconditional love everyday. He ran like a speeding bullet with his black shiny coat of fur, blowing in the wind. He always loved to get his hair cut... for him it was like..."Oh so this is what its like to see!" Deisel, you were my rock!. You guided me through so many trials and tribulations and yet always loved to snuggle me at night. You brought such joy to William and Dara and oh how you annoyed Sparkle! We will miss you and you will always live in our hearts. I LOVE YOU DEISEL!!!Edie Kobrincooper city, FloridaDecember 22, 2014
3/2/2002 - 10/19/2014I found Holly at the age of 4 mos. along with her sister, Hannah. I placed Hannah in a home and kept Holly. Holly was a bit of a wild puppy, but she ended up a beautiful, regal, calm dog. She was probably a Greyhound/Lab cross and when she ran full out, it was a beautiful sight, those long, long legs! Holly was always there for me; I tried to be there for her, and the loss is just yawning. She took up a huge space in her quiet and regal way, and though I have 2 dogs remaining, it seems so empty my house. Holly, at the Bridge you can run free and stretch those long legs as much as you want, you can chase as many rabbits and deer and birds as you want, but look in on me once in a while as I will never stop missing your beautiful self.Tamara DormerDurham, North CarolinaDecember 21, 2014
11/14/1997 - 12/18/2014When he came into my life, everything changed.
I started holding friends to a much higher standard of loyalty and love.
I befriended crazy dog people and my life revolved around making him happy.
I bought a house with a fenced yard to give him the best of dog living.
I met and took in a stray jack russell b/c I couldn't imagine anyone giving her any less than all of their love.
I met and took in a larger stray pitbull terrier, saying, 'just a jack russell in a bigger package.'
I kept a 'returned' Liza because he was convinced it was his baby
I saw and quickly retrieved his gray-faced twin (Evie) from deathrow at county animal control. (May she welcome him over the bridge)
I loved him unconditionally and without regard for the inevitable loss to come.
When he came into my life, everything changed -- I became me.
Rest in peace, my sweet, loyal friend.

2/8/1998 - 12/8/2014Our beloved Cocker Spaniel, who would have been 17 years old this February went to Rainbow Bridge with the help of Dr. Lauren Cassady on December 8th in his home, on his bed, by the Christmas tree. He came in our lives when he was one year old in 1999 as a "give-away" by his owners who didn't want him anymore because he kept digging himself out of their yard. We felt that Dan's Mom and my Mom sent Poppy to us to watch over us and bring more love and joy in our lives, which he did for almost 16 years. We told Dr. Lauren that Poppy must have had 1,000 hiking miles on his paws! He hiked so many hiking trails! He took him with us on all our vacations. He's been to the North Georgia Mountains, Jekyll Island, Hilton Head, Asheville and Chattanooga. He's been on hayrides, boat rides, tubing trips down the river, and even a golf cart on Daufuskie island. Went we were home, every weekend was a "hiking" weekend with Poppy.

We had a great time entering him in contests for Halloween and for the Sandy Springs Festival and he's won quite a few times! But this past September was the greatest win as the "Retired MVP" (Most Valuable Puppy.) He couldn't walk that far, so we put him in a stroller for the Pet Parade and he won!!!

Everywhere we went people would ask us, "Is that a show dog" and Dan would reply "He sho is a dog!" He was such a handsome guy with beautiful eyes!
I know everyone says this, but he was the best dog in the world! The happiness and love he gave us will remain in our hearts forever. We miss him so much.
