Helping Families Honor the Lives Of Those They Love
Scratchy
8/15/1997 - 8/8/2015Yesterday I had to say goodbye to you my beloved cat Scratchy. You were with us for 18 years and gave us a lot of laughs and most of all a lot of love. You were one of a kind, no other will ever be like you. I miss you sleeping on my pillow at night, your head in my hand and softly purring while we both fell asleep. I am glad you lived a long and healthy life, even though the last 8 weeks were tough. But you hung in there for Jonathan to come home and see you one more time. Now your suffering is over and you can rest in peace. Thank you for all the wonderful years. I love you so very, very much

Satchmo
7/14/2015My dear boy Satchmo died on July 14, 2015. He was a beautiful marbled tabby with large soulful green eyes. He was the love of my life! On his last day, we sat together for hours meditating, chanting, and watching the rain fall outside the window. Satchmo was the sweetest boy always ready to reach his paw out and put it on your arm to let you know everything was ok. He gave the most loving kitty kisses and liked to rub human faces with his face. He had a long, joyful life with his departed adopted brother Sequoia. He and Sequoia are deeply missed! They both have deeply touched my life and I am a better person for having the privilege to learn from and care for them.Kai LeMassonTampa, FloridaAugust 9, 2015

Beau
5/30/1994 - 8/5/2015How lucky was I to have this beautiful kitty be a part of my life for 21 years. I brought him home at 12 weeks of age and who knew the places we would go and people we would see! He was my faithful companion until the end. He was fought his kidney failure for two years staying as active as any older cat would be. I will always remember his beautiful eyes, loving nose kisses and playfulness.Cheryl ForehandJacksonville, FloridaAugust 7, 2015
Emma
8/2/2004 - 8/5/2015Emma passed away yesterday (8/5/15). She was eleven years old. We found out several weeks ago she had cancer. She was very tough and never let us know she was in any pain. Even at the very end she was still trying to take care of us, such as wonderful dogs do. She will forever be cherished and remembered in our hearts. Some say that when a family member dies a small part of us dies with them. If that's true, my wife and I are honored that Emma will forever have a piece of us with her. Our home is forever changed by the love she brought. Rest in peace sweet girl. We love you.Justin RothMableton, GeorgiaAugust 6, 2015
Rocco
9/25/2000 - 8/2/2015Our beloved "Rock Star" left us yesterday physically, but will be forever in our hearts. We feel very blessed to have watched him pass so peacefully from this world under the compassionate care of Dr. Lauren. He had a full belly of steak and peanut butter doggie ice cream. We are smiling at the thought of all the great things he's doing now: chasing squirrels, running through fields, sniffing the ground furiously, and all without pain and confusion. He has been with my husband and I through all of the milestones as a couple--from peeing on me with excitement the first time he met me to eating the collar of my leather coat to sniffing the children protectively when each of our babies came home from the hospital. He has always been there. The only thing that eases the pain of his absence is knowing he is not hurting anymore.
Rest in Peace, sweet boy.

Oscar
1/15/2005 - 8/4/2015Oscar was my best friend. We had been through alot together over the 10 1/2 years that he was with me. They were the best years of my life. His adorable overbite, his wiggle but, his sloppy kisses and his smelly breath (due to mouth cancer) are the things I will miss the most. He was one of a kind and brought a smile to everyone's face. I always told myself when he was ready to give up fighting that I would not allow him to suffer. I could tell Tuesday he was ready to give up. He was not the oscar that we all knew. He leaves behind his brothers Duke and lance, and his sister izzy and ella. He will forever hold a special place in my heart. We love you oscar. Clyde
11/7/2001 - 7/27/2015We said goodbye to our beloved companion, Clyde, on July 27, 2015. For thirteen-plus years, he enriched our lives with his hilarious antics and unwavering devotion and affection. His personality was as huge as the void his passing has left behind. His 'battles' with his sister Bonnie were on an epic (and harmless) scale, and his skill at removing all objects from tabletops was unparalleled. He was truly a gentle soul and he is greatly missed by his Mom, Dad, Bonnie, and family and friends. Clydie, we know we will all be together again at Rainbow Bridge...until then, you live on in our hearts and minds.Nancy and Jim GroteSaint Augustine, FloridaAugust 6, 2015
