Helping Families Honor the Lives Of Those They Love
9/16/2015In loving memory of Lulu, a beautiful black German Shepherd/Rottweiler mix. Her mom rescued her when she was a puppy. Poor Lulu had been returned by two previous owners that thought she barked too much. Fortunately for Lulu, her mom had a lot of experience with dogs, already owning three when she saved Lulu from euthanasia at the shelter. Her mom trained her well so that the barking was not an issue…until her mom got married and her dad encouraged her to bark at the mailman. Even though Lulu was a friendly girl and loved people, her size and appearance intimidated some people, including the mailman. Her parents made accommodations for him, keeping the front door closed and the shades down each day until the mail was delivered, which solved their problem.

Lulu loved to run. Her parents often took her to a nearby forest preserve where she could run off leash and chase deer, one of her favorite activities. Once, a couple of bucks even turned around and chased her! She also enjoyed swimming in the lake and really maintained an active lifestyle for a long time. Recently, Lulu started having mobility issues that progressively worsened. When her parents saw her quality of life was declining, they made the heartbreaking decision to let her go, knowing it was the kindest thing they could do for her. Snuggled comfortably on blankets with her mom and dad gently petting her, Lulu peacefully drifted to sleep. Rest well, sweet Lulu. Your parents are so grateful for the 10 wonderful years they had with you and will always keep you in their hearts.

9/21/2015Our hearts are throbbing after the loss of our sweet Bailey girl. She was 11 years old. Bailey was such a loyal companion and she loved to love and loved to be loved. We feel such emptiness without her here.
Bailey, there's no more pain. You can run free now. Give Sophie lots of kisses. We love you and we'll see you on the Rainbow Bridge baby girl!

10/1/2000 - 9/21/2015In memory of Murphy - a quiet, loving, and loyal friend to us for the past two years. While you were already an "old man" when you were adopted by us, you embraced us like a puppy when you greeted us each day and intensely enriched our lives. You are and will forever be sorely missed by those who loved you dearly. Rest easy, my friend.Les BessengerAtlanta, GeorgiaSeptember 24, 2015
11/21/1999 - 9/19/2015Words can't really describe how much I miss you little guy. My heart has a hole in it and my house feels empty without you. Thank you for being there for me throughout all my ups and downs in life. Thank you for loving me and for showing me how to love. You were such a great dog, so full of energy. I wouldn't have gotten through the grief of losing my Dad if I didn't have you to comfort me. I know you are with him now and he is taking you on long walks like you used to love. I hope you are laying in the sunshine and keeping him company. Nothing will ever replace you or the love we had for each other. You were such a special dog that was brought into my life for a reason. I will never forget out last moments together. In true Jack fashion you made sure to let me know you still loved me. I will keep that close to my heart forever. Thank you for everything, rest in peace sweet boy. Mommy loves you!

9/2/2001 - 9/18/2015In loving memory of our Golden Retriever, Oz. How blessed we were to have you with us for 14 years. There is an empty space that can never be filled by another but will always hold your memory. You touched everyone who met you, with your sweet spirit and energy. We know that you left an imprint on the heart of everyone who came in contact with you, except maybe the squirrels!! We will forever be thankful for having the opportunity to be your pet parents, to play with you, to take care of you, and to love you. There will always be a special moment each day reserved for a beautiful thought of you. Love, Mom, Dad, Ethan, and PatrickOrlando DiazGranada Hills, CaliforniaSeptember 24, 2015
