Helping Families Honor the Lives Of Those They Love
4/10/2005 - 10/15/2013Kahlua passed 10/15/2013 at 3:57p.m. She was our best friend and a member of our family. We have many good memories of her which we will never forget. Most of all, we loved you, Kahlua, and you will be in our hearts forever! Kahlua being strong-willed and self-paced passed when she was ready. She definitely is Princess K.

3/7/2003 - 10/14/2013We said good-bye to Harley, our sweet 10-yr-old black lab, this week.
Bill and I are heartbroken to lose Harley but feel so blessed to have had this wonderful, happy boy in our family for so many years. He will stay in our hearts forever. “What a good, good boy…we will always, always love you."

5/12/2002 - 10/17/2013Three month old Daisy was dumped at the Humane Society door during the night 11 1/2 years ago. As a volunteer there I fell in love with this frightened puppy who never came out of her shell enough to be adoptable. So I adopted her on the hopes that I could help this little girl to realize that people were good.

The vet, my neighbors, my friends and my family all had doubts upon meeting this fearful puppy that she would be a good pet someday. Daisy and I worked together for two years with steps forward and backward. She became a funny, loving, once-in-a-lifetime dog. I loved her with all my heart. While I am sad that she is gone, I am so happy that I was able to give this once scared, shut-down puppy a wonderful, happy full life. I was truly blessed to have her in my life.

Diesel Ray Hanes
7/16/2004 - 10/10/2013When we brought Diesel home from the breeder, who was 5hrs away, he was 6 mons. old and 60 lbs. He must have been preparing us for all of the camping trips we would take him on, and that we would have to pick up after him, that he pooped in the back seat on the way home. He ended up being the best big dog anyone could ask for. He enjoyed boating for a short time (got to heavy to get in and out of boat), camping trips, and his vacation home in the Keys. Diesel would play Santa Paws at Christmastime with his hat and beard outfit. He thought of himself as a lap dog, who at 200lbs, most definitely was not. At times he would be a bed hog and push us out of bed with his feet while running in his sleep. While laying in front of the couch he was used as a ladder by his little sister Allie. Since she is a lot smaller dog he would protect her at all times. Diesel brought smiles to everyone's face that he met, and has left very large footprints on our hearts. He was our best friend, our protector & now our angel.Sean & Jodi HanesNaples, FloridaOctober 16, 2013
