Helping Families Honor the Lives Of Those They Love
Jessie
3/17/2004 - 12/27/2020Jessie from the day we got her until the day she passed was always the sweetest dog ever. She loved to be with her family. Jessie went on all of our vacations with us and road trips. Jessie was always happy. Her tail was always wagging. As her vet said she had "Happy Tail". When It snowed she loved to go out and play in it. We were very lucky to have her for almost 17 years. Not a day goes by that we don't shed a tear. We miss you Jessie and will always love you. Thank you for bringing us so many years of love and joy.Lisa GordonPeabody, MassachusettsJanuary 6, 2021
Apollo King
6/24/2011 - 1/5/2021In Loving Memory of our beloved dog Apollo King.
After joining our family in 2011 Apollo and his sister Abbie quickly became a big part of our family. His large paws caused us to nickname him “Paw-py” which stuck until the end. He was such a gentle giant. At his prime he weighed 140 pounds but was bossed around by his feline siblings. He always enjoyed walks in the park or around the block and always appreciated a good treat for his hard work. He was the best dog to hug and tell your problems to and would be by your side whenever you needed him. This last year was a trying time for our family and after losing his sister Abbie, he became the King by providing unconditional love and comfort to us. He was my best friend and I will love him until the day I die. We are so grateful and honored to have had him in our lives as a member of our family. Rest In Peace beautiful friend! We will love you always !

Kitty boy, fur baby, Mr. Ono, Ono baby, fuzzy boy, you will be missed forever. You captured the hearts of everyone that you met. I thank Dr. Torrie for helping you pass so peacefully when you just couldn't hold on for me any longer. I will always treasure the memories of you and remember your sweet voice and purrs. I will see you on the other side.

Django
1/25/1947 - 1/4/2021Django, we miss you every minute. We miss your curiosity, your supervision (we needed a lot!), your wonderful companionship, and especially your singing the Songs of Your People at odd hours. You were a delight. The source of understanding and comfort. And your outdoor kitty and doggie pals still look for you. But life had gotten to be less fun for you, and the pain of your cancer had to be increasing. But Dr. Kiley came and helped you out o f that cycle of pain and weakness. And now, it is our fervent prayer that you are playing and happy and at peace. WE thank you for all you've given us over the 17 years of your life. You were a true friend, confidant and gentleman. And we miss you like sunshine.Katherine SmithGlen Allen, VirginiaJanuary 6, 2021
Peggy
12/10/2020 - 12/24/2020Peggy was the cat version of me. Craved attention but only on her terms and like a fair amount of quality alone time. Slightly bitchy when she didn't get her way and a fan of junk food and cappuccino- ok, she only got a dollop of foam, not the coffee ;)

She was feisty and demanding and because of that, there is a deafening silence now that she's gone. I miss her loud meows when she wanted to be pet (always during WebEx meetings), or be let out into her outdoor cat enclosure (only to meow after being out for a minute or so because she wanted to come back in). I had never met a cat with a louder purr and I think that is what I miss the most.

She was so loved and is so missed. Rest easy my sweet girl.

Her Facebook Memorial Post:

1 year and 17 days was not long enough. We knew this was coming, but you still can't prepare for the heartbreak.
Today, Peggy left this world on her terms, at home, surrounded by warmth (provided by our love and the space heaters that she claimed as her own).
A world-class lounger, she loved her blue suede chair, her outdoor enclosure, and any sunny spot she could find. Her talents included chasing tennis balls, mastering the art of aloofness, and waking up her owners with her demanding meows. While we still don’t know what she was trying to communicate between the hours of 1:30 to 5:00 AM, we were impressed by her tenacity…and volume. She also enjoyed attacking Tillie- always unprovoked- but always hysterical. She had the loudest, most satisfying purr, and we will miss the “step, step, thump” rhythm caused by her 3-pawed strut. Thank you to Merrimack River Feline Rescue Society, Merrimack Valley Animal Hospital, and Dr. Carolyn Leahy from Lap of Love Animal Hospice.
Peggy, it was an honor to be your person. We love you. Our Christmas is a little less merry, but what a blast our short time together was.

Oreo Green
1/15/2004 - 1/2/2021Oreo Green was a dapper fellow. He was a sweet boy, with a heart of gold. He took care of his sister Angel until she died on March 17, 2017. They were both born in the same litter, in front of my eyes. I fell in love with them instantly. The two of them travelled the country with me, and I pray they have found each other again. I miss them both so much, but if they are together again I know I can find peace. Remarkably enough, I was there the moment they came in the world and I was honored enough to be able to hold them as they passed. Oreo survived Angel by four years, and was my everything. I took care of him for 17 years, and I don’t regret a moment of it. Please light a candle for all the best furry friends that we loved. I know I will never be the same now that I’ve loved something this much, and had to let it go. God bless them for the memories, and unfaltering companionship. I’m glad they went in peace, and I hope I get to see them again one day.Jamie GreenJacksonville, FloridaJanuary 6, 2021

Zedd
2/17/2017 - 1/2/2021Zedd was one of a kind. Always 100% into whatever he did. Truly a once in a lifetime dog. His many friends miss him greatly.Summer ArrowoodWhtie House, TennesseeJanuary 5, 2021
Champ
3/31/2010 - 1/3/2021Champ was the best pup ever! He was the sweetest and gentlest souls we will ever meet. He and his sister Teeny (GSD mix dogs) came in to our lives in summer of 2019 at about 9 years of age. They instantly filled our homes and lives with so much love and tenderness in a way only pups can!

After Teeny passed suddenly in her sleep in Feb 2020, Champ became my eldest daughter's BFF! He never left her side even for a second! His severe hip dysplasia and other progressive spinal diseases did not slow him down or cause him to take it easy for one bit. As long as he had her sister (my eldest) by his side, he did not have a care in the world.

You will be sorely missed Champ. You showed us the true meaning of 'unconditional love'. We are so grateful for having a chance to enjoy and love the two pups during their golden years! Champ, I know you have a very special place in Doggy Heaven right beside Teeny. And remember what I told you: when they ask you your name, you know what to say - its 'Good boy'! You will always be the best!

Thank you so much Lapoflove for helping us bring his pain and misery of rapidly declining health to a peaceful pain-free end. He is finally free!
