Helping Families Honor the Lives Of Those They Love
5/3/2003 - 1/12/2021Words cannot express how much we will miss our precious Sneakie. He was the kindest and most gentle giant, taking care of everyone else - including his brother Moses & our two daughters. Sneakie you have been a buddy to all of us, and we find ourselves looking for you everywhere. We can't believe you are not here with us, because you have been a part of our family for almost two decades. We will never forget you, and you will continue to live on in our hearts. We pray that you are with God in heaven, and able to once again prance outside, play & snuggle with all of our loved ones that we miss so much. We love you and miss you!Elisa BradleyCOLUMBUS, OhioJanuary 13, 2021
10/11/2007 - 12/29/2020Bernard "Barnie Milton" Fife was a helluva guy. From the day he stepped into my family's life he wreaked havoc, in both his great and terrible Barnie ways. He was emotional, had an attitude, and was stubborn... but that's what we loved about him, and will always love him for. I can't tell you how many things he's left his mark on... and I mean literally! He sank his teeth into everything, such as phones, remotes, and expensive anime figures from Japan... but no matter how much damage this guy caused us, we still loved him!!

What's remarkable about December 29th is it not only the day we adopted him in 2007, but the day he got to peacefully pass away in his home 13 years later, in 2020. It's like it comes full circle. I'm glad he got to leave us in the comfort of his own home peacefully, with every member of his family surrounding him. In the 13 years he blessed my family on this earth, he was a light in our life even when things got grim. Our memory of him will always remain a light that will continue to shine as bright as ever.

When things started to slow down for him, we began to worry. But then again, we thought he would be around forever, so we were afraid of the truth. Eventually, it became clear that Barnie didn't have much time left and so we chose to do what we believe is the most respectful thing for him, which was allowing him to pass in his home, surrounded by family. It was incredibly difficult, and still is!

You're probably here because you lost a pet, too. I know it's hard. It's so, so hard!! Please remember that by helping our pet leave this earth in the most peaceful way will hurt no matter what because you loved them. This way you can take the pain your pet is feeling and transfer it over to yourself, which is probably one of the most selfless and loving things you could ever do.

We love you, Barnie. Please never forget that.

5/1/2003 - 10/8/2020Dr. Hampton was absolutely amazing! This was a very heavy time for our entire family. Our sweet girl was with us for almost 18 years and our home just isn’t the same without her.. Losing her was like losing a family member, but the journey we took towards the end of her life couldn’t have been more comforting without the lap of love staff! The receptionist was also so wonderful. She got us registered and spoke in a gentle and reassuring tone of how great the Doctors were and how they knew exactly what they were doing and how empathetic they would be to our situation. She couldn’t have been more right! As soon as we scheduled our appointment Dr. Hampton treated Maddie and our family with empathy and care. She gave us our alone time before, during, and after saying our goodbyes to our sweet baby. She walked us through exactly how the visit would go before we started and how she would transferring her after. We decided to do a private cremation and the staff there was amazing as well. She was delivered back to our veterinarian in less than a week. Overall we couldn’t have been more sad to say Goodbye to our Maddie Girl, but Dr. Hampton and the entire team brought so much peace and closure to the end of an almost 18 year journey and we are thankful.Rhema WoodsRaleigh, North CarolinaJanuary 13, 2021
5/24/2007 - 1/10/2021Our beautiful boy was described by everyone as the coolest cat. He truly was.
The tv repair guy would come and our sweet baby would greet and give his two cents by chirping and head butting.
He had the best personality
He was a magnet. Wherever you were he was. He followed and snuggled as if you were drawn to him like a force.
I swear he was human as he could sense when you needed love and support
We are so grateful he chose us to be his mom and dad

3/18/2002 - 1/10/2021Shiloh was a true and affectionate friend for almost half of my life. She didn't let the early loss of her right rear leg hinder her, and showed a great deal of spunk throughout her almost 19 years. She loved being able to watch the birds and squirrels, especially when she had a screened porch available, and in her later years, enjoyed lounging in the sun. She was a great comfort though a difficult time in my life, and was always there to sit on a lap, or curl at my feet when I needed a friend. I will truly miss her meeps and chirps, the house is much quieter without her.William ADayton, OhioJanuary 13, 2021
10/31/2007 - 1/8/2021Titan was definitely my best friend. We always joke in our family and say we come second to food. He had a love for food that was out of control and even up until the last day he was with us he was still begging. He smiled so big, and always kept his puppy eyes. He had the best sense of humor and loved to make us laugh. Our home feels so empty without him and he will forever be missed. Dr. Elizabeth Merchant Came to our home and helped out boy make his transition. She was so gentle and empathetic. I’m so glad we were able to choose this route and she was chosen for our family during this difficult time. She answered all of our questions, she sat on the floor with the animals on their level and got to know his history before he was in eternal peace. She cried with us, lightened the mood when it was appropriate and we even had a good laugh together telling stories about Titan. If you're in the Tampa area I highly recommend her. It really does take a special person to do this line of work and I’m certain she is in her calling. We traded his physical pain for our emotional pain. Thank you again Dr. Merchant!!Jackie MaherApollo Beach, FloridaJanuary 12, 2021

11/25/2005 - 1/11/2021For our loving and happy yellow lab, Lil'Ley came to live with us when she was five months old, May 2006 a month after we lost our first lab, Bagley. She was our other lab Wyeth's partner until he passed away at age 11. She's been our niece Jada's best friend who came to live with us at age 10 and she helped us all raise puppy Rosie who arrived in January, 2016 at eight weeks old. Lil'Ley blessed us with happiness and love for 15 years. Thank you Lil'Ley. You will live on in our hearts.
