Helping Families Honor the Lives Of Those They Love
3/21/2009 - 11/25/2020My baby girl!!! Your mommy loves you so deeply and her heart is so hurting right now!! I hope you are up there running and chasing your orange football and the squirrels and I hope somebody is driving you around in the car with your head hanging out the window like you love to do. I know you love to swim so I hope you’re in the biggest swimming pool in the world enjoying yourself.
And the biggest thing I hope for is that you are completely pain-free now!!
We will definitely meet again and you’ll be able to lick my face like you used to love to do all the time and mommy will kiss you on your nose like you loved!!

4/23/2010 - 11/25/2020Caitlynn was the love of my life. Not a day went by that she didn't have me laughing at her fun loving ways. She was the best companion I could ever ask for and always my protector. She was my best friend for ten and a half years, and she was full of life and love. She will always have the number one place in my heart, and I know she is out of pain now, frolicking in heaven, chasing butterflies, and waiting for me to join her. Rest in peace my sweet sweet girl. I'll love you forever.Deanne MusterLODI, CaliforniaNovember 27, 2020
5/5/2003 - 11/13/2020Our beloved Hershey was a wonderful companion for nearly 18 years! We miss him dearly, reminded each day of how much he filled our lives with joy, from the pitter patter of his tiny feet on our tile floor, the warmth of his touch as he lay beside us in bed, his warm greetings to us as we returned home after being away, his loud purr as he relaxed for hours on our laps, to his gentle meow at 6:00am asking to be fed. Our dog, Sadie, seems sad also, often looking around the house for her furry playmate that she loved to chase.
I fondly recall the euphoric feeling (like “heaven” I used to say) of sitting in my recliner while petting our motorized li’l buddy for hours as he stretched out on my lap and his sister, Sadie, as she stretched out beside me on the floor. None of the world’s problems seemed to matter - - we all enjoyed the warmth and tranquility of those moments.
Hershey fought hard for a long time against several chronic diseases, never complaining or losing his ability to purr and share his love. We hope he feels our love and approves of our decision as he relaxes, purrs, and plays with his newfound furry friends on the rainbow bridge. We will join him there someday and walk across the bridge together. Until then, we hold a special place in our hearts for him and will continue to love and pet him through our memories of the wonderful times we had. Rest in Peace li’l man!

Hugs and Kisses,
Lew and Sharon

9/6/2008 - 11/13/2020Shane: I had the luxury of having you as a boisterous companion and Little Rob Roy, your best buddy for eight years, sure does miss you my friend. Rest in peace my big, bold blond; the house is so quiet without you. The three photos I picked to celebrate your life are: the first photo I ever took of you on the day I brought you home, the second photo is of you and your best buddy Roy, and the third is the bittersweet day I let you go.Fairfax, VirginiaNovember 27, 2020

8/1/2011 - 11/16/2020Zoey, we all miss you so much. You were such a beautiful presence in our lives. You gave us great joy and had so many friends, both people and dogs, who loved you.

But since you had a number of homes, we feel you should tell your own story--below:

What you've taught me:

Be kind, no matter what, be kind
To give, live , and love
Enjoy sunbathing, bask in the warmth
Live in the moment, watch the fluttering of a butterflies wings
Run, run more, run faster, until you can't anymore
Eat your food with gusto, drink plenty of water, and sleep when needed, taking naps frequently
Enjoy your bath and how good you feel afterward
Love unconditionally
Great the one you love at the door as if they have been gone for years
Kiss often and meaningfully
Life is short, make every moment count
To always be there, no judgements
Play, make time to play
Make friends and enjoy their company because you don't know how long you'll have them
The language of love comes in many forms
You can tell love just by the way someone looks at you, like you do
Snuggle as close as you can in bed because you want to show your love and who the true owner of the bed is-----
I am seeing you off at this end so that we can meet once again on the other side of the Rainbow Bridge. We will recognize each other and start up where today ends. I will carry you wholly in my heart until we meet again. I love you more than you will ever know; than words, , a touch, a kiss, a hug can say. Your spirit is part of mine and we will be intertwined forever. You have saved my life in so many ways and loved me even when I didn't love myself. I am forever grateful.
I love you and goodbye sweet Cassy. Mom

6/4/2017 - 11/25/2020Sweet, sassy baby Jaina. Three years was not enough time with you. Thank you for creating a family with me, your brother, and your sister. We love you and miss you forever and always.Kelli FrostChicago, IllinoisNovember 26, 2020
10/3/2005 - 11/24/2020Clyde wasn't the best cat, but he was our cat. He and his sister (Bonnie) came to us one October morning back in 2004. They were so small and cute. They quickly became part of the household and as Clyde grew, he became the LEADER of the pack. He took each new kitten that came into the house under his paw and showed them the ropes. He corrected the bad habits (and showed them some as well).
His passing is so painful as 2020 took my old horse (37 years) DOC back in January. COVID made it impossible for me to be with him if he had to go to the vet office.
I am so thankful for the service Lap of Love provided. Dr. Mary was such a comfort to us and took such good care of Clyde as we helped him cross the Rainbow Bridge.
It never gets any easier to lose a pet, whatever it might be. I know in my mind Clyde is in a better place, but my heart still looks for him each day. I'm sure Clyde will send another LUCKY KITTY our way when the time is right.
