Helping Families Honor the Lives Of Those They Love
7/8/2006 - 1/15/2021If we could have but one more day,
we'd walk the wall, your favorite way,
family together as before,
but no, alas, you are physically no more.
No belly rubs, no bowl to fill,
your lead hangs limb, your brothers mourn by laying still,
no welcome bark, no peaceful snore,
an empty space in your bed or on the floor.
If we could hold you once again,
We'd kiss your head, we'd pour our hearts into yours,
We'd whisper gently as we part...
You're safe, asleep within our Hearts.

5/5/2008 - 1/17/2021Our sweet Tobey was the most gentle and patient soul and will be missed tremendously.Michelle JankoskyMurrysville, PennsylvaniaJanuary 19, 2021
1/1/2002 - 1/16/2021Thank you for being my kitty Brooklyn. You were my best friend, guardian angel and soulmate. I love you.Collette McLaffertyWestchester, IllinoisJanuary 19, 2021
3/2/2006 - 1/16/2021Lily is my light, my angel, and my most loving companion. She has been there through every moment in my adult life, both the bad times and the good, and sure knows how to keep a secret! Lily has provided unconditional love, with plenty of lap time cuddles, and always by my side following me around everywhere, giving her the nickname "Shadow". To always come home to her greeting me at the door never failed to put a smile on my face. To wake up to her jumping up on the bed every morning, provided a very reliable second alarm clock (even when she didn't know it was the weekend, and we could sleep in!). I learned her language and knew every type of meow, whether it was for food, attention, a bird chirp, or just to say hi. She made me a cat person, and taught me how to earn love, making me a better and more giving, loving person. I never knew a love like this could exist. Thank you Lily for all you have given me, and to provide such love in my life. I love you baby girl <3Bethany BakerWalnut Creek, CaliforniaJanuary 18, 2021
12/14/2010 - 1/17/2021Teddy crossed the Rainbow Bridge at 3:25pm on 1/17/21 with the help of Lap of Love. Teddy was having too many uncontrollable seizures. Medicines were not helping anymore. We couldn't wait for surgery on his brain tumor. We had to do the right thing and end his pain and suffering. The seizures were the hardest thing to see and saying goodbye the hardest thing we have ever had to do.

Teddy was a great dog. When we tell you that he was perfect, we are not exaggerating. Never ever would you have ever met such a chill, laid back dog , with an awesome personality. He loved people and made everybody he met so happy. He never met anyone he didn't like, especially if you had a treat. He never had confrontations with other dogs. We didn't need a leash for him when we walked him, and we walked lots. He was so so perfect and well behaved. His Mom bought a stroller for him, and when he would get tired, the stroller allowed him to sit and take in all the sites as he went everywhere. So many people have taken their pictures with Teddy when he is in that stroller. They would ask us to get out of the picture, they wanted it for them only. He was a rock star. He travelled everywhere with his Mom. He has thousands of followers on Facebook. Teddy learned many tricks for his favorite food, bacon. And that is the food that he got before he crossed The Bridge. He was a Mommy's dog. They were inseparable. Two peas in pod. It was rare to see Mom and not Teddy. He loved going to his Granny's house to be spoiled with those foods that Mom and Dad wouldn't give him, and he loved shopping in his stroller with Mom and Granny.

Teddy will be sadly missed for years to come. We cannot imagine our life right now without him. This is so hard and sad. I have had many dogs in my life, they were all great dogs, but, none of them can top Teddy. He was the cream of the crop. And I am sure we will never have another dog like him. If we do, it will be a blessing, and, probably sent by Teddy. He could not have been loved any stronger by anyone on this earth more than us. And he knew it. It took a while for him to get close to us in the beginning because we were his third home. We needed to build trust, and it came with lots of love. He finally realized how much he was love we had for him and the rest is history. Gone way too soon, 10 years, and we only had for 5 years. The best years of his life and ours.

For the first time in his life, we heard him start crying when we picked him up from the ER. Those were tears of love and joy because he was so happy to be back with his Mom and Dad. So so sad he is gone. We miss you every day. We love you Bookashucka, Bookie ,Hunksta, TedTed! A true Rockstar in Corgi Nation. Truly, mankind's best friend.

12/12/2004 - 12/13/2020Carter was the spirit that unified our home. He was our common ground, our unconditional friend and love, our protector, our innocent angel, our mischievous puppy. He was strong like a bull literally. He was 50 pounds or so but had the strength of a 160 pound man. I know because when I was 160, he could pull me around the block on a walk literally. He had jaws of steel. When he gripped a bone or ball or rope or sock or sneaker, it was best to let him get bored or wear out over time. He was part American Staffordshire Terrier. A vet helped us realize that when he was older. When we adopted him at 8 weeks, we thought he was a daschund mix, as that is what his papers said. Carter has no fear except for plastic gates we would put up around the house to keep him from entering a room. All he had to do wad knock the gate over with his nose and he would be home free, but he was afraid of the sound of the gate falling, so he respected and feared those gates, otherwise, we know he would run through hoops of fire to be with us, to save us, to fight for us, to come to be at our side to be pet, scratched, rubbed and hugged. We still see and hear Carter among us. He was here for 16 years from a puppy to a deaf, arthritic adult. We puppy proofed our home when he was a puppy, and we elderly dog proofed our home when he was elderly. He gave us his all - eating rugs, couches, toys, shoes etc... to finding a way into the garbage pale to eat anything and everything. We gave him our all in our care and love for him. We see him, hear him and feel him here in our home....we know his spirit is with us --- he visits us from the other side of the Rainbow bridge to check on us, to make sure we are okay, to inject a little more unconditional love. We love you back Carter and always will. Now go run with the other dogs. Run like you used to -- and eat as much as you like too. You are free. Precious (aka Poochie)
3/1/2006 - 1/5/2021Poochie was the Dog of Dogs--truly loyal and devoted to her family for 15 years. She will be remembered daily and loved forever. She came to me in a dream two weeks after her transition, appearing young, glowing white, ethereally beautiful, and carried the wisdom of the sages. I asked if she was real or spirit, and she replied "both." I asked if she could stay. She replied, "no, but I'll check on you from time to time."

Run free, beautiful girl.

8/1/2007 - 1/15/2021Missing my Romeo kitty so much. I was so lucky to have you by my side for 13 years I only wish it could have been more. You were there through every adult milestone with me. So many moves, heart breaks, adventures. You went everywhere with me, slept holding my hand, and always came to my side whenever I was sad. I’m happy you got to be with me when we finally found the rest of our family. you grew to tolerate Matt lol and love makenna just as much as you loved me. I will never forget how you would run in to Makennas room every night to listen to her bed time story.Tabitha DonigerBrockton, MassachusettsJanuary 18, 2021
