Helping Families Honor the Lives Of Those They Love
Sirius Black Whitmoyer
10/25/2003 - 4/26/2014Sirius was the gentlest, most loving dog a family could ever ask for. His life was far too short, even for a dog. He battled so many illnesses and ailments in his 10 years of life, but remained always sweet and happy. We will forever be grateful to have shared 10 years, 4 months and one day with him, and although we know he has moved on to a better place, our lives will never be the same without him. We will love him and miss him forever. Until we meet again, rest peacefully, feel well, and run and play.Victoria WhitmoyerReading, PennsylvaniaApril 27, 2014
5/19/1998 - 4/25/2014In loving memory of a handsome old boy named Merlin He was a 16 year old Border Collie who became a part of his family as a young puppy... they went to pick a puppy, thinking they would get a female, but Merlin was the only one that was left, and he seemed just perfect for them! The many years they spent together proved that to be true - Merlin was a beloved member of his family

As a young dog, Merlin loved to herd everything! He tried to herd kids on bikes, girl scouts, boy scouts, pretty much anything that ran around! He also loved chasing animals who dared to venture into his yard... as he got older, he couldn't see them as well, but he could still smell them and would RUN through the yard after them - often in the wrong direction, but he didn't seem to care! When Merlin was younger, he also loved playing ball... he would run up and down the deck stairs as many times as his family would throw the ball for him, never seeming to be tired! He also loved playing games with his Dad as he mowed the yard - Merlin would lay at the top of the hill, hold the ball till Dad and the mower were in the perfect spot... then he would let the ball go so that it rolled right into the path of the lawn mower! What a fun-loving stinker Merlin was!
Merlin lived a wonderful life, but at the age of 16 his body was failing him... he couldn't see well and his legs wouldn't carry him well anymore. His family did everything they could to care for his needs, and it was obvious that Merlin had the best of care. But eventually, even wonderful nursing care just wasn't enough. They knew their sweet boy wasn't enjoying his days anymore and they didn't want him to suffer. So, everyone who could be in town gathered to bid Merlin farewell. He also had family out of town who was remembering him with love today... Merlin lived a wonderful life and he will continue to live on in the hearts of those who loved him most

5/1/1995 - 4/24/2014My sweet Sasha, you gave us so many years of love, companionship and being the 'momma' dog to all who have come and those who already left us. You were the quiet one, except for those times you thought we needed protection or you had the itch to check out the world. But you always were here for all of us, and we all love you and will miss you until we meet again.Jennifer KileJacksonville, FloridaApril 26, 2014

Dante's inferno
5/12/2000 - 4/6/2014In dear, loving memory of Dante's Inferno - better known as Dante - a black, furry chow/border collie/setter mix that jesse rescued from the Houston, TX ASPCA in 2000. He peacefully made his way to the Rainbow Bridge at the gates of Heaven this past Sunday afternoon, April 6, 2014. This is also the date of jesse's Mom's birthday; she left us nearly two years ago.

Dante had been his daddy's constant companion through everything in life for 16 years. He adapted well to a number of changes in living quarters and daddy's work as well as the addition of other furry family members. He missed his daddy when work kept him away from home but had his girlfriend, Kayleigh (a spaniel/corgi mix), and Mildmay (a Bengal/domestic shorthair tabby) to keep him company. They all guarded the home well and helped to keep it full of laughter and affection

Dante had been battling mobility and arthritis issues for a while. He bore his ailments bravely, though, and kept up a brave and noble demeanor throughout. He loved his ear rubs and especially "treat and movie" times with daddy, Kayleigh, and Mildmay. Sadly, Dante took a sudden turn for the worst and collapsed late Saturday evening. He could not get up without a great deal of assistance and was beginning to have breathing problems. His daddy did not want his big, brave guy to suffer any longer and because of this the decision was made to set him free in the kindest manner possible.

Dante - your dad, jesse, along with Kayleigh, Mildmay, Mom and Dad, Kate, and Kat all love and miss you so very much. You were always such a good dog. We know you are enjoying exploring Heaven and frolicking with Mom/Beverly. Rest in peace, dear soul. We are all so grateful to you for carrying our personal love and wishes to Mom on her birthday this year. You will forever be missed but we will all see you again some day when we finally cross the Rainbow Bridge together.

Forever love,

jesse teeHouston, TexasApril 24, 2014
