Helping Families Honor the Lives Of Those They Love
4/12/2007 - 2/13/2021The heartache is overwhelming. The emptiness and the loneliness of being in the house without you is horrible. You were part of every routine of our day. Coming back into the house without you there to greet us is so hard. You were the most loved dog in the world and I can’t imagine times ahead without you. You overcame so much yet remained happy and full of love.I can still see you prancing down the street with those ears flapping. It’s hard to believe such a little dog could fill so much of our hearts and our life. RIP little guy!Robin SiekmannFt Myers, FloridaFebruary 14, 2021
5/12/2006 - 2/12/2021Butterbean was a gentle giant, full of love and happiness. He is the largest dog we have owned, 120 lbs of teddy bear. We all will miss him, my husband and myself and our other 2 dogs. He made sure to lay sideways in any walkway he knew you were likely to go, usually the hallway. He wanted to make sure we had to step over him so he could be alert to what we were doing. And not a mean bone in his body, a real lover.Jennifer HughesValrico, FloridaFebruary 14, 2021
4/4/2005 - 2/12/2021Our Mabel was extraordinary in every way. For 16 years she was the loving center of our lives and gave us hope when we really needed it. She came into our lives as her Dad's twin brother was approaching the last days of his life due to a brain tumor and one day after we buried her previous big brother Bubba. AT 7 weeks old, she was just a bundle of fur and pure love. Her dad, claiming he was not ready for another dog, was not over joyed at the surprise.( because he was not aware or consulted about her adoption).but within 2 days was bonding with her like no other. It was like she knew he needed her to give him strength to face what was to come when his brother passed 2 weeks later. Their bond lasted until she took her last breath 2 days ago...and, it is true that he was saved just as she was. As for me? Well I just felt blessed I was along for the ride to be able to witness their devotion to and love for each other. Sure I know she loved me too and he was her MAN!
She helped me trough some difficult times as well as it was through her calming demeanor and because she was such a good listener her devotion helped guide me through 8 years of my son's service and 3 deployments in the Marine Corps. She let me share my fears when no one else was around. It was kind of our secret!

9/1/2004 - 2/9/2021Our beloved cat Frisky passed away this week. Words can't express how much we loved our baby and the joy he brought to our family. We miss him deeply and take solace that we gave him a good life and all the love and care we could possibly give. It is so hard not seeing him in his familiar places and greeting us each day when I come home from work. We still look for him throughout the house and miss his little cries when he wanted something. We cherish the time we had with him but the pain is still very fresh.Tom LisLancaster, New YorkFebruary 14, 2021
1/7/2010 - 2/10/2021To our sweet dog Tank, we have not stopped thinking of you since your peaceful passing. Your presence was larger than life and always kept us on our toes. We miss your love, your cuddles and you alerting us every time a package was being delivered. We are, however, grateful of the time that we had you in our lives and how protected you always made us feel. Give our sweet Lu a big kiss for us on the other side of the rainbow bridge.Kathryn MezerewskiHaddam, ConnecticutFebruary 14, 2021
6/19/2005 - 2/10/2021My beautiful sweet Macy:

It's been three days since you left us and both Arnold and I miss you so very much! You were the best dog in the whole world. How many times did I say those words to you?

The house seems so quiet and empty now that you're gone. I keep expecting to see you in your corner of the couch we shared. When I look out the kitchen window or pool doors, I still expect to see you on the lanai strolling around the pool watching for squirrels on the lawn or ducks in the river, or stopping to gaze at the birds and squirrels competing for the food in the neighbor's bird feeder. I miss you no matter what I'm doing because you were always with me.

You were a proud therapy dog at Moffitt Cancer Center. As soon as I started to put on my volunteer uniform, you'd get all excited knowing we'd be going to see your fellow therapy dogs, the patients and staff at Moffitt. How you pranced and strutted as we walked through the halls to our assigned area. You'd walk up to patients, visitors and staff as if to say "here I am!" and wait to be petted. Everyone commented on how beautiful you were. You were remarkably patient when I dressed you in costumes to celebrate holidays. You weren't fond of the hats but kept them on long enough for me to take a picture.

You made me laugh. You were sweet, happy, smart, gentle, sensitive and loving. You were athletic and could run like the wind or jump high to catch a ball or toy. You were so inquisitive! That beautiful long nose of yours was always working. You had to know what was going on all the time.

We love you and miss you so very much Macy. Rest in peace my beautiful sweet girl. You were the best dog in the whole world.

2/20/2021 - 2/10/2021Our beloved Summer passed peacefully at home this week surrounded by her loving family. We are heartbroken yet grateful to have been blessed with 15 beautiful years together. She was an extraordinary being and truly the heartbeat of our home and family. She was there for every milestone, every heartbreak, and everything in between, providing whatever was needed from comfort to joy. The day she came into our lives we knew we were chosen to go on an extraordinary journey with our Summer girl. We all learned so much from her and cherished her daily presence in our lives. She will be missed tremendously and forever remembered with LOVE and gratitude. RIP dear girl. We love you forever.Cindy & Dave FerraroPurchase, New YorkFebruary 13, 2021
