Helping Families Honor the Lives Of Those They Love
4/14/2004We miss you so much already. You were so special! I feel it’s only once in a lifetime that we are honored to parent such a great cat! We could not have loved you more than we did. Life won’t be the same with that empty bowl and empty bed. We hope that we get to see you again.Angela DurandHouston, TexasJanuary 11, 2020
12/8/2006 - 1/8/2020Kaysie you were the best girl. So smart and loving, not once have I ever heard a growl or complaint from you despite all the struggles you have had to go through over the years. You always kept your brothers safe by watching over them and never leaving their sides whenever they were around. You comforted me through many ups and downs too. I can never thank you for all the joy and peace you brought to our family.
Yesterday was one of the hardest days I have ever had to go through. You are a tough girl and I could see how tired you were and we were missing you even before you were gone. You have taken a part of our hearts with you on your next adventure and while you are missed so very much now, you will never be forgotten. You are forever a part of our family history and stories of you will be told to all who will listen. We Love you, Our Sweet Kaysie Girl.

8/16/2006 - 1/9/2020Our sweet friend Banyon was with us for over 13 years and was one of the best gifts if not the best we ever had. All those years are full of so many fun and loving memories from long camping/hiking trips to short day trips to the river. Banyon’s life will forever be celebrated and will always hold a special place in our hearts. Until we meet again dear friend....we love you & miss you greatly!

4/23/2007 - 1/10/2020Hemi was the most amazing, loving, compassionate dog ever! Which is what lead him to be a great firehouse dog. His love touched so many people. Whether it was the brothers and sisters in the firehouse or just random strangers. He helped many people cope with illness or through a grieving process. He also cared for us so much when he had finally reached the final point where he couldn’t do it anymore, he went with a smile on his face that I can never forget even if I wanted to. I know his memory will live on in all of the people that he affected and helped.
All of this we learned after his passing, that’s when people really came out of the woodwork to give my wife and I their condolences. They also offered their condolences to the firefighters as well. In his final resting place will be a Maltese cross and his badge, which will never be worn again, it has been retired. So when you pass a fire station think of him sitting outside scanning people who walk by for treats!

Thank you so much Hemi for the easy pal, we’ve got it from here...

11/7/2005Dear Snickers,
Thank you for being such an amazing friend to me for so many years. You were by my side through so many times. I know the last few years, I wasn’t able to give you the time I used to, but the kids sure do love you. You are missed so much. My heart is broken. I hope we meet again, sweet girl.

3/15/2007 - 1/10/2020The house is so empty without the clicking of nails on the floor, without you snoring at night right beside me and without our "talks". You were always the first "child" to the table when I called everyone for dinner and the first in bed when I said it was time for sleep. You were the best dog our family could have ever asked for in life. We miss you so much.Jennifer King KingLutz, FloridaJanuary 11, 2020

3/9/2014 - 1/9/2020Fishy,

This house is so empty without you. I’ll miss you, my little work from home buddy. The kids will miss you even more. Thank you for being ours, even if it wasn’t for as long as we all had hoped or expected. Thanks for hanging out with us. You are irreplaceable and we will never forget you.

1/1/2005 - 12/4/2019Marley was the best friend I could ever have. He came to me at a year and a half old, and left me at fifteen and a half years old. He was rambunctious, always wanted to be the center of attention, even if it meant biting a possible intruder. He loved me when I was mad at him, he watched over my child when I was not feeling well, and he understood the rules of the house and of that around him. His sister still mourns with me, and his human charge, my son asks about him daily. Thank you for allowing me to put him to rest at home.Amanda LoveNashville, TennesseeJanuary 10, 2020
Lexi Hunt
2/2/2012 - 1/4/2020Lexi was the most beautiful, smart, charismatic, fluffy dog you could ever ask for. As a sheltie, she took it as her personal mission in life to keep our back yard free of birds, squirrels, voles, moles, or any other type of creature she deemed unfit to be in our yard! She loved to chase laser lights, tear squeakers out of any toy we bought her, and most of all, eat. She was an excellent watchdog but very good at meeting new people--in particular, she thought my husband's brother was rock star and would get so excited to see him! She would wake us up at the same time very morning to eat and go in the back yard to start her patrol with a soft, polite, but ever more insistent whine. She was a loving dog who just enjoyed being in the same room as you and I have to admit, we talked to her like she was a human. Sometimes, she'd cock her head to the side and look at us so intensely I swear we thought she was going to speak. She is and will be terribly missed.Mary Ellen HuntLexington, KentuckyJanuary 10, 2020
