7/9/2008 - 8/2/2020One day while working construction in Philadelphia, a group of boys saw you wondering the streets all alone and hungry and they scooped you up and brought you home and named you Sam. One of those boys was my son and that was nearly 12 years ago you came into our lives.
As each of the kids moved out and it became you and me and your brother Brownie, our bond grew and the three of us became inseparable the last 5 years. When you were diagnosed in June with bone cancer that had spread, my heart broke in a thousand pieces and although I knew we would lose you soon we continued to hope for the best and give you the best life and help you through the time you had left. You were so brave Sam and you never showed the pain you were in, you stayed strong for us until you couldn’t any longer. On August 2, you got your Angel Wings and no longer have to be strong for us, you are free now Sam and I know you are looking down on us still keeping us safe and will forever be our protector, our ‘security’.

You thought you were the one being rescued but it was the other way around. In so many ways, you rescued us! You were our protector, our confident, a big brother and mostly our friend, my friend! You had a special bond with each one of us and loved us in your special way. I will miss our walks, tucking you in at night and waking up with you in the morning. I will miss your snuggles, your smile, your loving looks and your caring eyes. What I wouldn’t give to have one of your hugs!

You were my favorite Hello and my hardest, saddest Goodbye ~ we love you Sammy!!

5/18/2008 - 8/4/2020We miss you Rico. The house is so quiet without you here to warn us about the trash being picked up, the people walking by on the sidewalk, and to help me find our house at the end of my walks (just listen for the barking). After over 12 years of sharing our lives, there's a giant hole where you should be.

We know you were ready to go and are happy you are back in spirit, able to be free of your failing body. We will cry and miss you and wish you were here because that's just how humans are, but we also know you are okay.

11/16/2008 - 8/1/2020Kai was one of a kind, as many owners will say about their own pets. He was smart (to smart at times) he loved children and didn't have an aggressive bone in his body. He loved everyone, even strangers and all he wanted to do was play and make friends. He was a big part of the past 11 years of my life and it's hard to think about not having him with me any more. He moved around the country with me, was with me through good times and bad and it was always nice to come home to the happy smile he always wore. Kai will be deeply missed by me and my family. He was as much a family dog as he was mine, always around and always where the people were because he loved being the center of attention. While my daily routine has changed and it feels empty at times, I just remember his smile, knowing that he's in a better place and not in pain.Joshua MinklerClermont, FloridaAugust 5, 2020

7/3/2019 - 8/4/2020Maggie we love you and miss you forever and always.

I am so thankful for all of the support from the moment I called and spoke on the phone to Laps of love, to Dr. Scudder and her amazing understanding and ability to just be the calm in the storm. I’m an anxious person by nature and this was a bit much for me to take in. It was relieving to know I could allow us all to say goodbye to her from our own residence opposed to possibly even only one of us being allowed in a vets office at this time. I also felt more at ease in a less sterile environment and I hope she did too. Thankyou so much for this amazing service and for being so understanding.

We will miss you Maggie for all of our days 💕

9/25/2008 - 8/1/2020Thank you for the happy days that you gave to us, for the protection that you bestowed upon your family which was so incredibly important to you. Thank you for supporting your elder brother, Kabu, in his final illness. We know it wasn't easy. But you proved yourself to be a loving and caring gentleman throughout the trying period. We thank you for tutoring your little brother, JoJo, making sure that he was welcomed into the family. We shall hold you in our hearts and never, ever forget you.

All our love, Mom, Dad and JoJo
