Lap of Love Veterinarian: David Rousseau, DVM"I'm forever grateful to David. From the moment we first spoke on the phone I knew he was the right person to help us. He took so much time answering my questions and he explained everything very clearly and with genuine concern. Our cat Henry had the best possible passing. He felt calm and loved by everyone including David, and that gives me such peace. His follow-up email and card were incredibly thoughtful and much appreciated. Thank you from the bottom of my heart."Nancy VasiloffJamaica PlainFebruary 12, 2014

Lap of Love Veterinarian: Lauren Crescenzi, DVM"Dr. Lauren made the passing of my beloved dog Mollie as comfortable as possible. I couldn't have been more pleased with Dr.Lauren's professional yet caring and sympathetic manner. Of course I am distraught by the loss of my little girl but I take comfort knowing that she was in no pain or distress during her passing. Mollie just knew she was in her home surrounded by her loved ones and was being petted. To Mollie the doctor was just another person who had come to visit. Mollie didn't have to suffer the trauma of going to the cold, clinical vets office. Not to mention the pain of getting her into a vehicle due to her limited mobility, painful hips and her size. I would highly recommend this service to anyone who wants to help their pet pass away peacefully at home. I have no regrets about how I lost Mollie. My grief is only with the fact that she is gone."emily snyderHarrisburgFebruary 9, 2014

Thank you, Dr. Amanda, for your love and caring for DJ."Keith HaagPOMPANO BEACHFebruary 8, 2014Dj's Pet Memorial

Lap of Love Veterinarian: Brad Bates"Our beloved Prince was not fond of going to the vet he would hide under his pillow & towel every visit. Katy, his nurse was gracious enough to refer us to Dr. Brad. When I, Prince's Mom, opened the door to let Dr. Brad in I knew immediately he had a warm aura. When he came in Prince walked right over to him, that made me smile. I introduced Dr. Brad to Matt, Prince's dad & Tenee, Prince's human sister. Dr. Brad explained the procedure he was patient and compassionate he felt our love, understood our pain and even shed a tear. The process was peaceful although I am heart broken and didn't know what to expect, we are truly grateful because our now angel was laid to rest like royalty.
I am writing this though tears, Thank you Dr. Brad it doesn't get any better then you*"

Lap of Love Veterinarian: Dana Lewis"When I first called Lap of Love, Dr. Dana answered the phone herself. I was in tears and told her that I thought that I needed her services. She took the time to talk to me about what was going on with Tyler and provided me with some information on the website regarding the quality of life scale to assist me in making our decision. When she came to the house, she remembered my husband's name and our other dog's name. She was very calm and gentle, providing us with information while making small talk and playing with Rex (our other dog). After Tyler was free, she made us a paw print, and left us with a locket of his hair and some information. She later emailed us with a memorial for Tyler and sent a sympathy card. It meant a lot that she took the time to do these things and helped us in our grievinig process."Karen GallGarnerFebruary 6, 2014Tyler's Pet Memorial
Lap of Love Veterinarian: David Rousseau, DVM"I can't believe how lucky we were to find Dr. Rousseau at this very sad and stressful time. But we did! I am forever grateful for this wonderful man who truly knows animals and the people who love them. Dr. Rousseau made an exquisitely painful time, a sacred time. Jammie's passing with her littermate, in her own bed, in her own home, was gentle and peaceful just as it should have been. In retrospect, I can't imagine it having been any other way. Dr. Rousseau's attention to important details is forever appreciated. I could not recommend him more highly."Georgia GreenLynnFebruary 6, 2014

Lap of Love Veterinarian: Erin Hogan, DVM"Deacon was loyal, affectionate, and appropriately protective. When we needed to finally say goodbye, we called Lap of Love and they were able to come out to us by the end of the day. Dr. Erin was tremendous! She was so calm, compassionate, and caring. Deacon's passing was beautiful, she honored us by understanding he was an integral part of our family and allowing us to say our goodbyes as we needed too. I have a 6 year old daughter... this was difficult for her, as Dr. Erin spoke with her, the rest of us listened and also found a sense of peace. PLEASE, if you can share your family members passing at home, do so... you will NEVER regret it. THANK YOU DR. ERIN!"Margaret GaleMurrietaFebruary 5, 2014

Lap of Love Veterinarian: Cindi Worrall, DVM"We were so blessed to have found Dr. Cindi, Her respectful, compassionate, calm and professional manner got us through a difficult day.
It was such a great comfort for us to be with our Jack - in his own place - when he peacefully left us.
Dr. Cindi followed up with a message and a memorial for our Jack.
She was right that our house will feel emptier - in fact it hurts to be here with out him. We expect to see him, but we only have memories. But the memories are intact because of the gentleness of his passing and knowing he was better off.
We sincerely thank Dr. Cindi for getting us through this difficult time.

Lap of Love Veterinarian: Steven Schultz"Our Gunner was so scared of going to vet and because of his mobility issues it was close to impossible to get him there.
We just lost our other boy 6 months ago.
Finding Dr. Schultz was a miracle.
Gunner left this world so peacefully home with us.
Our grief is so great right now but it does give comfort that he was home.
Dr. Schultz was so compassionate and we will never be able to thank him enough"
