Helping Families Honor the Lives Of Those They Love
Lap of Love Veterinarian: Carling Sitterley, DVM"This was the first time we had a pet euthanized in our home. I read about Lap of Love online. Our regular vet told us that he heard all kinds of good things about this service. My husband read the bio of Dr. Carling Sitterley and was impressed. He then called and made arrangements to have her come to our home. She was very respectful of our concerns and thoroughly described how she would proceed. Her voice was soft and she was ever so gentle with our pets. We never felt rushed. This was the best goodbye that we ever experienced. Having this done in our home made the transition so much more bearable. Thank you Dr. Carling for your kindness."Camille BlottLititz, PennsylvaniaJanuary 2, 2019Marley's Pet Memorial

Lap of Love Veterinarian: Cary Mackey, DVM"It’s taken me some time to process the passing of my sweet girl, Diesel. Most of the time, I’m still looking for her throughout the day. I struggled with when it was the right time to call Lap of Love. Dr. Cary was able to come within about 24 hours of my call, even though I was still uncertain if I was making the right decision about the timing. Dr. Cary took the time to listen to everything that my girl had been through (along with her physical assessment), and she assured me that now was the time to let Diesel go in peace. I felt so confident with Dr. Cary, her assessment, guidance, and how she walked me through the Lap of Love process. Dr. Cary made an extremely difficult and emotional situation smooth and comfortable for all of us. My sidekick of almost 15 years is no longer in pain, and I’m so thankful to have been referred to Lap of Love and Dr. Cary. Thank you for taking care of my girl as if she was your own."Jenn GraffMarietta, GeorgiaJanuary 2, 2019
Lap of Love Veterinarian: Tina Vaziri, DVM"I cannot sing enough praises for Dr. Tina. From her first home visit back in July 2018, I knew we had a gentle, guiding, caring and kind professional to advise and support us in the final chapter of our dear rescue Aussie Shepherd of 18 years. Our Ami girl was given the blessing of an additional 6 months of quality living with Dr. Tina's evaluation, recommendations, guidance and prescriptions. Our prescriptions were set up to be delivered directly to our home, and the refill process was easy and refills came in a timely manor, refrigerated (often with toys for Ami)

With heavy hearts, we said good bye to our beautiful girl on Christmas Eve 2018. Dr. Tina was there with us, and explained the process and offered kind reassurances and again, the utmost level of professionalism I have ever experienced in any Doctor (human or animal). Dr. Tina was so kind and compassionate, offering us the time we needed to say goodbye and two beautiful imprints for each of our sons who had grown up with Ami as sister and protector. We were grateful after an attempt at ink imprints, which did not turn out as envisioned.

The dignity and gentle sincere kindness that Dr. Tina exhibited throughout this emotional and heartbreaking goodbye for us, made this process a beautiful and humane experience. She was responsive to my e-mails and inquiries. The final good-bye still tugs at my heart, but it is the immense loss and void that Ami left that brings unstoppable tears and grief, not the process. Our main source of solace and comfort was that we had Tina with us, and know we made the right decision at the right time.

Thank you, Dr. Tina for your genuine compassion and understanding how very difficult this decision is, and making her final journey one of dignity and good karma. We will always have an unparalleled level of respect for you.
With eternal gratitude...

The Howell Family"

It was so hard to let go of our beautiful Dolly but Dr. Kristine made it bearable for us and our Dolly died peacefully in her bed. Thank you for your kindness. We miss her terribly but know she is in no more pain."Robert and Angela DrakeMerrick, NYJanuary 2, 2019
Lap of Love Veterinarian: Amanda Page, DVM"Thank you so much, Dr. Amanda. During this very stressful time (of course on New Year's Eve) my very sweet little Echo Sapphire decided it was time for her to fly free. Thank goodness Lap of Love and Dr. Amanda were available to help her do this and help me to accept it as a beautiful passing. Dr. Amanda came on short notice and was so caring and compassionate both to Echo and to me. I'm so grateful that my little girl could have such a peaceful exit in her home with her mom and cat friends around her. She deserved nothing less."Jill McMahonFountain Valley, CaliforniaJanuary 2, 2019Echo Sapphire's Pet Memorial
Lap of Love Veterinarian: Amanda Page, DVM"Dr. Amanda was amazing. She was kind, gentle, and loving when we had to say goodbye to my good boy of over 11 years, King. It was beyond peaceful and after she left my family and I all felt very comforted and relieved that King was in a better place and had a calm send off. Thanks for everything!"Matthew DonovanNEWPORT BEACH, CaliforniaJanuary 1, 2019

Lap of Love Veterinarian: Annie Dion-Byrd, DVM"I cannot speak highly enough of your doctor, Dr. Annie, or your service. The compassion and professionalism that were exhibited by both the doctor and the persons who fielded my emergency call were remarkable. My beloved Wendy did not suffer and was able to pass in her own bed that she slept in peacefully. I could not be more grateful. Having had many companion animals in my life, and unfortunately having to euthanize several, I am unsure why anyone would choose another service."Winter Garden, FloridaJanuary 1, 2019
Lap of Love Veterinarian: Tiffany Matheson, DVM"As hard as it is to let go in a decisive moment, a natural death would have been a terrible thing to watch. So my thanks to Dr Tiffany for being kind enough to help my dog and I get through the process. Going to my vets office would have been much more dramatic for both of us."Ruth SchollWest Palm Beach, FloridaJanuary 1, 2019Francis ( Frannie }'s Pet Memorial
Lap of Love Veterinarian: Dawnetta Woodruff, DVM"Ms. Woodruff is a lightworker. She came right in, took off her coat, and crawled on the ground with me to embrace me in a hug, as I sat by my weak baby. She held me as I cried as if she were family. Her touch was gentle and perfect and I can't imagine anyone else having taken her place. I'm forever grateful. I'll remember her always."Jamie FlaugherSaint Louis, MissouriJanuary 1, 2019Sophie's Pet Memorial
Lap of Love Veterinarian: Tiffany Matheson, DVM"Dr. Tiffany was loving and kind and took her time with us. Her patience was very appreciated. I loved that she allowed me to help with wrapping Bear and carrying him to her car. It was a sad but beautiful process thanks to her kindness."Boynton Beach, FloridaJanuary 1, 2019Bear's Pet Memorial
Lap of Love Veterinarian: Aspen Perretta, DVM"Dr. Aspen Perretta could not have been any more compassionate than she could be when all the family members are crying and knowing we are going to put our family pet to sleep. From the time she came into our home we knew our dog Nellie was in good hands. We all knew the outcome of her visit and she couldn't have been more patient with us and more loving to our dog Nellie. You have to have an awesome big heart to do this job. We have had several pets and all have lived a very long life. But we were in the position to be able to have someone come into our home and put our Nellie over the the Rainbow Bridge. We are grateful our family vet recommended Lap of Love to us. We are sad but knowing she went so peacefully and wasn't suffering from her tumor anymore made it somewhat better. You were awesome Dr. Aspen Perretta, thank you from the bottom of all our hearts."Carol FlahertyPittsburgh, PennsylvaniaJanuary 1, 2019Nellie's Pet Memorial

Lap of Love Veterinarian: Kim Bruce, DVM, CVA"Of all days, Christmas, my precious Sarah was about to cross over the rainbow bridge. I called my own Vet and she told me it was definitely time and so I called Lap of Love and the sweetest vet, Dr. Kim Bruce, came to my house with very little notice. I adopted Sarah and her little sister 14 years ago from the Cat Care Society in Denver and they were the sweetest babies. It is such a difficult transition to let a family member go. I couldn't have had a better Vet to help Sarah in her transition from life to death with absolutely no pain. Dr. Kim was warm, compassionate, caring and gentle.
I can honestly say that with such a sad thing about to take place, Dr. Kim was the right person to handle this for me. I didn't want Sarah to suffer and her little body was ready.
Thank you Lap of Love for your compassion and love in a difficult time."

Lap of Love Veterinarian: Nancy Rodriguez, DVM"We lost our beloved German shepherd of 9 years to Lymphoma. It was very difficult for us to witness her health decline. Dr. Nancy was very helpful in making us aware of symptoms to look for. With her guidance we were able to make the right decision to put our baby to rest. Her bedside manner is remarkable. We are very thankful for the service they offer."Alexa BottomleyJackson, S. CarolinaDecember 31, 2018
Lap of Love Veterinarian: Hannah Curtis, DVM"Dr. Hannah was amazing. During this difficult time, it’s hard to find the positive, but Dr. Hannah really made my family and myself comfortable. First sight of meeting Bella, she absolutely showed her love and made her comfortable, the love that she showed was genuine and made us feel very comfortable. Thank you so much, Doctor."Fabian LopezGarden Grove, CaliforniaDecember 31, 2018Bella's Pet Memorial
Lap of Love Veterinarian: Toby Goldman, DVM"I would like to thank Dr. Toby for the wonderful experience he let us have with the passing of our baby Daisy. It was very tranquil and calming for her. She was very relaxed and under no stress at all. He made us feel our decision was the right one. We were on vacation in Las Vegas when our Daisy entered her final days. It was a harrowing experience, as all pet owners dread this experience but Dr. Toby made the experience comforting and manageable. Thank you Dr. Toby for your compassion and kindness at this very traumatic time. Daisy, you were definitely one of a kind and will be truly missed daily. We love you and miss you and hope to see you on the other side when our time comes, we will all be together once again."BETTE LENTZLAS VEGAS, NevadaDecember 31, 2018
Lap of Love Veterinarian: Amanda Grant, DVM"We had our rescue kitty, Taz, for 18 years so when it was time to say goodbye, we were heartbroken. Fortunately for us, a friend had recommended Lap of Love. Dr. Amanda came to our home with a warm smile and kind words and put us all at ease. We cannot thank her enough for her professionalism and comforting demeanor. She was truly our angel that day and we hope she realizes how much she and this wonderful service means to the people they help."Carol StewartWeston, FloridaDecember 31, 2018
Lap of Love Veterinarian: Rachel Klickman, DVM, CVA"I cannot thank your organization enough for what you did for Oliver and our family during the saddest of times. Your gentle loving manner brought comfort to not only Oliver, but to all those present, particularly my son. My only regret is not contacting you sooner for in home hospice care. I realize now that my vet simply lacked the availability to deal with an animal in extreme pain. I will recommend the Lap of Love services and Dr. Rachel in particular to anyone with an aged or terminally ill animal. You brought so much warmth and love to an extremely difficult circumstance. Thank you."Gretchen RiddleANNAPOLIS, MarylandDecember 31, 2018
Lap of Love Veterinarian: Kristine Campanelli, DVM"I wanted to express my complete satisfaction with Dr. Kristine. Saying goodbye to our beloved dog Angie was heart wrenching and as emotional as any situation could be. Being in our home where Angie was comfortable and we could all be there was wonderful. If any of us needed to leave the room to compose ourselves, our home made that easy to do. Dr. Kristine was kind and gentle. She gave us a lot of time and space at all the right moments. She treated our best friend with the respect and dignity that we wanted. I would recommend Dr. Kristine to anyone who is saying goodbye to their beloved dog."Mark RoseCommack, NYDecember 31, 2018
Lap of Love Veterinarian: Allison Bergin, DVM"Dr. Bergin was very patient and kind to our family. She really took the time to handle our beloved dog with care and dignity. It was a peaceful process, and she took the time to walk us through every piece of the process. Thank you."Denise FlowersFranklin, WisconsinDecember 31, 2018Bubbles's Pet Memorial
Lap of Love Veterinarian: Amanda Fisk, DVM"Dr. Amanda was everything you could have prayed for and more when having to make such a hard decision about our baby Bella (Boo). She was so kind and compassionate, I can't thank her enough."Stacy WeaverKeystone Heights, FloridaDecember 31, 2018
Lap of Love Veterinarian: Nora Glaser, DVM"It’s taken me several months to write this but Dr. Glaser provided nothing but compassionate/ professional care for us and Kona on the day. She talked us through the entire process. Did not rush us by any means and honored my request to carry Kona to the car after the passing (it was really important for me to be the last one holding Kona at home). I’ll never forget, as she was driving away she even looked back and waived at us. We are grateful for her sympathy.
Thank you Dr. Glaser."
