Saying goodbye to my friend Genji after 18 years of adventures and many life changes was one of the hardest decisions I have had to make. But when your bonded friend lets you know it's time... you have to listen. Dr. Taylor was super compassionate, gentle, respectful, and understanding while in our home with Genji. He immediately identified how much Genji meant to me and my wife and just how special Genji was to our family. He gave us all the time we needed after Genji had passed to say our final goodbyes and for the rest of our cats to say their goodbyes before he tucked Genji into a carrier basket which I asked to carry out to Dr. Taylor's car. I especially took note of the decorated area prepared for Genji - there were flowers and candles surrounding the place meant for my life long friend. I wish I could have done this for all of my cats over the years. It was THE most peaceful and meaningful way I could imagine saying goodbye to my baby boy Genji. Thank you Dr. Taylor, my entire household appreciates you giving us the heartfelt sendoff Genji definitely deserved.
Dr. Baker, thank you from the bottom of our hearts for the incredible kindness, compassion, and gentleness you showed our family during one of the hardest moments of our lives. From the moment you arrived, you treated Sharky with such dignity, patience, and love. You took the time to explain every step of the process, keeping us informed throughout, which brought so much comfort during an incredibly difficult goodbye. Your calm and compassionate presence eased our fears and allowed us to focus on loving Sharky in his final moments. We truly could not have asked for a better person to help our sweet boy peacefully cross the Rainbow Bridge. Sharky deserved the very best, and we truly believe he found that in you. You gave us the gift of a peaceful goodbye, and that is something our family will always be grateful for.
