“There is no exercise better for the heart than reaching down and lifting people up.”
We are a returning family to Lap of Love, having first been introduced to their services years ago in Austin. Our first fur baby lived with a chronic disease and absolutely hated going to the vet, so discovering Lap of Love at that time was a blessing. This time, we knew all too well what chronic disease looks like and how it affects quality of life. When Shiloh’s condition progressed, I reached out to Lap of Love to ask if there was anything more we could do to keep her comfortable. We were gently reassured that everything we were doing was already the most loving and supportive care possible. Dr. Mark was the most professional, empathetic, and compassionate caregiver we could have hoped for. Our family wanted nothing more than the best for Shiloh, and he made that happen — in her favorite place, surrounded by her favorite people. She passed spoiled, deeply loved, and completely comfortable. We are so grateful to Dr. Mark for the time he spent with Shiloh and with us, the family who wished she could live forever. His kindness, patience, and encouraging words will stay with me always. You are a GEM Dr. Mark.
Dr. Meyers took great care of us and provided us with the most compassionate care. I am grateful for the final moments that we got to spend with Jeter and the peaceful process that Dr. Meyers provided.
She was absolutely amazing. So caring and kind through the hardest time of my life. Right when I opened the door she greeted me with a hug like I’d known her my whole life. She greeted Booba like she knew him his whole life and was so amazing and compassionate beyond words through the entire process. It was so peaceful for him and she really exceeded expectations of such a difficult time for our family.
Dr. Selena was very caring and sweet. She made sure Annie’s last hour with us was comfortable.
