“There is no exercise better for the heart than reaching down and lifting people up.”
My experience with lap of love was incredibly compassionate and peaceful. Our vet let Sadie get comfortable and fall asleep at her own pace, on the front porch, her favorite spot, in the sunshine and fresh air. Even when it took extra medicine and time. The vet reminisced with me and listened to all of our stories, gave gentle and reaffirming words, and made sure we were both comfortable and calm and informed every step of the way. Our vet made a very sad and painful time into another beautiful memory with my dog. It felt like a continuation of her story, not just the end. My thought is that with every pet I’ve ever had that needed end of life services it could have been this nice. I only wish I had known about lap of love sooner. Thank you for making this experience as graceful and sweet as it possibly could have been.
Christina was compassionate, loving and cried with us as our baby boy left this world thank you so much for the love and compassion and empathy that you gave us.
Dear Dr. Emily, thank you so much for all your help and assistance for our girl! You were amazing and it felt like you were part of our family! Everything was absolutely beautiful and it touched our hearts in so many ways. Thank you for being so kind.
My little baby boy was suffering from congestive heart failure, it was to the point of the little guy was struggling to get his breath when he slept at night are just running to get his favorite toy, the coughing was just getting worse and worse and he's little heart could hardly keep up, so we made that call, and Dr. Courtney came out we all sat in the floor and held are baby until he got his angel wings, that was the hardest thing I've ever had to do at the age of 52. Dr. Courtney Smith is the sweetest and one of the most compassionate human I've ever met. thank you and God bless her. it's going be a hard road but are memories will always be there. love you Trump, rest in peace my little baby boy.😢
