We can’t say enough about how grateful we are for Dr. Dee and the care she provided during one of the hardest moments our family has faced. Making the decision was incredibly difficult, but Dr. Dee handled everything with such compassion, grace, and kindness that it truly made a difference for us. She brought a sense of calm and reassurance when we needed it most, and we will never forget that. She also took the time to truly listen to us and hear our stories about Brody, which meant so much. It didn’t feel rushed or clinical. It felt personal, and that meant everything to our family. What meant the most was knowing our boy was comfortable, at peace, and even able to enjoy his final moments. That is something we will always be thankful for.

Our sweet Spike was found hiding behind a planter in our yard 16 yrs ago. Spike enjoyed hanging outside on the patio; her favorite spot being the ledge, as we would say, overlooking her kingdom. Spike had a slow decline in health but then over a 24 hr period it was apparent that she was reaching a point of being in pain due to her inability to eat and drink. Something had to be done fast. I called Lap of Love and I was amazed at how quickly a doctor could be available. Dr. Amy texted when she was on her way so my daughters, husband and I could be ready. From the moment she walked in, she was understanding and respectful. Every step of the process was gently explained, and we were given the time and space to say our goodbyes. It was already such a hard decision to make, as this was my daughters' first experience like this, but Dr. Amy instead made it an experience filled with warmth, patience and genuine compassion. We will always hold onto the fact that Spike's final moments were calm and surrounded by love. Thank you so much for easing us through this difficult time with such kindness and grace; it means more to us than words can express.
I am so thankful for this service. My sweet Edna would have been so scared to go somewhere. With Dr. Susan we were able to just sit and love her and she went in peace and surrounded by her family.
