Dr. Jason

Dr. Jason was extremely compassionate during this tough time. He did a great job making sure Shishkabob was comfortable, and ensuring us that this was the best thing to do to continue taking care of our best friend. Dr. Jason allowed us to hold our precious baby in his last moments, carry him out to the car, and asked if we had any music requests for his final ride home. Dr. Jason made this experience as good as possible, and I would recommend him to any of our friends and family.

Dr. Ken

Dr. Ken Salleng is a very knowledgeable and experienced veterinarian who we had the honor of having to help transition our cat peacefully over the rainbow bridge. His expertise, insights, personal experience, compassion, empathy and honesty helped make this process smooth and a lot easier and reassuring. He was extremely gentle and took utmost care throughout the visit. He gave us as much time as we needed to say goodbye to her before and after the process, and did not rush us at all. His passion for animals is apparent and translated through his work. I cannot recommend Dr. Salleng highly enough to anyone who needs end-of-life services. He’s the kind of veterinarian we had hoped to get when the time came. Thank you, Dr. Salleng for giving our cat such great care and a peaceful, bittersweet ending.

Dr. Jess

24Jun2026 was the worst day of my entire life. I did not wake up that day expecting to lose Cheeseburger, but that was how the day ended. Luckily I had Dr. Jess to guide me through it. She was professional, empathetic, and genuine. I will never forget the gift she gave to us, to allow our sweet boy to pass at home in the spot he was most comfortable surrounded by his other kitty siblings. She explained to us what would happen, what we would see, what he would feel, how long it would take, what happens after, etc. She answered my 1 million questions. She was completely accepting and on board with our other pets being present. I would normally go out of my way to avoid crying in front of a stranger, but in that moment she didn't feel like a stranger, she felt like family. She allowed us space and time to say goodbye, no pressure involved. She humored me about taking extra fur clippings and my own personal paw prints (in addition to what was already provided). She loved on our other kitties. She made me feel seen and understood, that it is completely normal to feel devastated losing a fur baby, and there is nothing to be ashamed of for loving that hard. I never could have said goodbye in the way Cheeseburger deserved without being able to do it at home in his favorite spot. When the unfortunate day comes that I have to make another hard decision, I hope Dr. Jess is still around and can come help us through it again.
