Dr. SelenaMy sister in law in Chicago told us that if we could have a doctor come out to put our cat to sleep, it would be a much better experience than coming to the hospital. We did a google search and did just that. Our sweet cat, Stormy of 10+ years was the sweetest cat on the planet. I was never a cat person and 10 yrs ago he showed up on our porch as a small kitty and he claimed me and our family.....Never say never.... It was really hard to see Stormy in such agony because he had 2 tumors in his stomach and he was in such pain. Dr Taylor came the same day we called her through the Lap of Love organization and she made the process so loving and memorable. She was very considerate with us and Stormy and it became a precious memory instead of a traumatic experience. She cut a little of Stormy's fur after he had passed and also had a paw imprint done for us. From the moment I called Lap of Love and spoke with the wonderful people on the other end of customer service, to Dr Taylor showing up at our house, to the sweet note she mailed to us a week later, it was beyond anything we expected. Laps of Love truly has a "calling" of understanding the moment and what we are really going through at that time. They are very genuine and I could not have been more thankful that we got them. Dr. DonnaleeDr Donnalee was absolutely wonderful. She helped put us at ease and reminded us that we were making the best decision for Simba. She was extremely empathetic and consoling. She let us take our time and didn’t feel rushed with our goodbye. She treated Simba with great respect and dignity.

She was patient, calm, and caring. Just what we needed at the time. Her work was gentle and loving, and the whole experience was great, considering… Also, I didn’t feel like it was appropriate at the time, but we loved the Prince tattoo.
