Meet the veterinarians
About Dr. Tandy Glenn
I was born in Columbus, Ohio, but spent most of my childhood in Grand Prairie, Texas, a small town nestled between Dallas and Fort Worth. Like many in my profession, I can’t remember a time when I didn’t want to be a veterinarian. I grew up with pet cats and dogs and I was always on the lookout for animals in need, often bringing home injured animals and wildlife to rehabilitate.
I received my undergraduate and doctorate of veterinary medicine degrees from Texas A&M University and then began the career I had dreamed of since childhood. As a veterinarian, I enjoy providing quality preventive care for cats and dogs to ensure they enjoy a long, happy, healthy life with their families.
When the time comes to say goodbye to a pet, it’s a gift to be able to do so at home, surrounded by family and away from the stress of the clinic environment. I’ve been fortunate to have this kind of end-of-life experience with my own pets, and I am honored to be able to provide this for other pets and families through my role at Lap of Love.
Outside of work, I enjoy tending to my bird feeders and butterfly gardens and photographing the birds, squirrels, and pollinators who visit my garden. One of my favorite activities is relaxing in my garden with a good book and my two dogs by my side. I also enjoy traveling and photographing natural landscapes.
