Meet the veterinarians
About Dr. Molly DeVincent
I grew up in Angola, a small town in northeast Indiana surrounded by lakes. I spent much of my childhood on the water, swimming, boating, and fishing. One of my favorite memories is the afternoon my grandpa and I caught more than 40 fish! My mom was a nurse and my dad was a respiratory therapist, and while they had a natural ability to care for people, I knew I wanted to help animals. I worked at a local veterinary clinic during high school and the compassionate and skilled professionals I met inspired me to pursue veterinary medicine.
I attended Purdue University where I completed my undergraduate studies in animal science and my veterinary degree. After graduating, I had the opportunity to practice regulatory medicine as a public health veterinarian for the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA). I enjoyed ensuring the safety of our food supply and the humane handling of animals.
As a veterinarian, I love being able to help families navigate every stage of their pets' lives. I learned the power of unconditional love from my younger sister who has special needs, and pets also provide us with this type of love, loyalty, and companionship. Losing such a special friend is never easy, but I enjoy being able to connect with and comfort families as they help their pets pass peacefully at home.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my husband and our 4 children. Watching them grow and discover the things they love is such a blessing to me. I also love food and how meals bring people together. There’s nothing better than good company, good conversation, some coffee, and yummy food.
