6/19/2004 - 4/1/2019Andy was a Jack Russell Terrier and true to the breed he was the most faithful companion ever. He was a superhero too me. My husband would tell anyone who would listen just how special a dog he was and he would always point out that Andy was my wife’s dog, he was. But, He also loved everyone who walk through our door and was loved by All. He was beautiful, so Smart, almost human, he was Valedictorian of his puppy training class. He loved animal crackers and licorice. He loved long walks, chasing balloons. In his prime he could jump as high as the kitchen counter.
Unfortunately, the last year or 2 we saw his health decline, 15 yrs is long time on this earth. Andy had brought so much joy, laughter and pleasure to our lives, to our home. He deserved the same from us. So, I new our goodbye had to be special and peacefully.
Lap of Love was a perfect fit for our family. When the time came to say our last goodbyes Andy was in his special spot on the sofa surrounded by family, loved and cared for by Dr. Anne.
You accumulate a lot of memories over 15 years, you forge a bond that many find hard to understand. That is why it’s so hard to say goodbye to this superhero.
