4/1/2004 - 6/10/2019Diesel was not a pet but truly a member of our Family. He came to us in 2004 and was immediately " My Boy" . I can honestly say in all the years of my life, Diesel was my best friend. He thought he was there to take care of me and I did the same for him. I cooked for him, walked him, saved him on numerous occasions of having cancer and he kept me moving, literally! I could always count on Diesel and his happy disposition that was deep down in his being, even though his exterior was a tough, Pit-bull / Mastiff mix to others. People always crossed the street when they saw him coming but what a beautiful animal that I was so lucky to call my own. I will miss my boy and I know somewhere he is doing the same.Philip DeFalcoRutherford, New JerseyJune 11, 2019

I'm so sorry to hear about the passing of your best friend. We, too, lost our boy yesterday. It is a grief like no other. Your story resonates with me as our first pup was a pittie mix and she was the dearest soul. Those pittie mixes are so very special...they aren't called the 'nanny' dogs for nothing ;) Big hugs to you and I hope the memories of her will bring smiles rather than tears sooner rather than later.Pam Hanbury - June 11, 2019
