10/1/2002 - 6/10/2018We miss our sweet, handsome Pax beyond words. His passing leaves a hole that can't be filled.Amy ClarkBlacklick, OhioJune 12, 2018
Light a Candle

Pax, this was the first Friday without one of the “boys.” There was a void in our routine. My favorite memory is the routine we developed shortly after Aidan was born. When I was ready to leave after watching both of you, you would sit patiently by the door waiting for me to give you a treat. I never really knew if you wanted the treat or wanted me to leave. You were a very loving dog. May you Rest In Peace and have all the dog treats you would ever want.Anita Donaldson - June 16, 2018
Pax was a gentleman. On my last visit to see him, he politely rose to greet me even though I knew he was in pain when he got up. He always greeted me when I visited, even if he had to limp downstairs to be petted in appreciation of his welcome. And when I left, Pax escorted us to the door. My last sight of Pax was of him looking out the door to watch us leave. Pax wouldn't have hurt a fly...even when he tried. Pax loved to photobomb and tear open Christmas gifts. Pax missed family members when they were gone. Pax watched through the blinds for their return. He was relaxed and comforted only when the family was together. I know that Pax's family is grieving his loss, but there's some comfort in the fact that he's no longer suffering.Bill Donaldson - June 14, 2018
It was an honor to meet handsome, sweet Pax and help him cross the Rainbow Bridge. I am sure his days are now filled with all of the rabbit chasing, ham, and ear rubs that he could ever imagine.

Rest peacefully dearest Pax, you will always hold a very special place in the hearts of all those who met you <3

Pax, I love you and miss you. I keep expecting to see you at times during my day, and I have to keep telling myself you are gone for now. I would do anything to have you back and healthy again. You were the best dog ever and I will never forget you. I hope I get to see you again someday and if you can, please come visit me in my dreams. You are always welcome with me. Thank you for always being loving, kind, and quick to forgive. You were a great big brother to our boys Aidan and Reese. You only showed them kindness and love. You showed them what a good dog is and how to love one. Thank you for loving us, and watching over us for almost 16 years. I hope you are young again, have all the food you could ever want, and are never lonely where you are now. I know I will see you again and when I do I will never let you go again. It was one of the hardest things I have ever done to say good-bye to you. You will always be my little boy and always hold a special place in my heart. I will miss you until I get to see you again. Love always your dad ZachZach Clark - June 13, 2018
