one memory i have with jake is when we first got wolfie, we only took wolfie home, a few days later my dad felt bad and went back and got jake. the days before my dad brought home jake, wolfie hid anywhere he wouldn’t be seen. but the day jake got there, wolfie immediately felt more comfortable. while he was still shy, he was a little better. toward the end, jake loved laying with me or my dad. now that jake’s gone, wolfie lays with us. sometimes he still looks for jake and it hurts so bad to see him sad like that. he always made me smile when he played with wolfie.

Lily, my soulmate, my confidant, partner-in-crime, my best friend, my furry child, and emotional support companion. I'm so grateful to have met you in this lifetime, and I feel so privileged to have you with me for almost 17 years on earth. No amount of time together will ever be enough in this lifetime, but within those years of choosing each other — I feel so blessed to have experienced life with you: from my messy and chaotic twenties moving every 1-2 years, to the pivot life moments, breakups... I've always vowed to work hard to give us a better home. And I did. From renting apartments, I finally got you a backyard even though you never asked for it. You changed my life and showed me what unconditional love is. Since you came into my life, I've always called you my soulmate. Just the two of us, against the world, until the end of time. And that will never change. You changed my life and I have done my best to love you every single day. I love you and I miss you so much.

Our handsome old boy crossed the rainbow bridge on 9/20/26. Jax, you have been the absolute best boy for the past 11.5 years. You annoyed your big sister, Bella, and then got it right back in return when you became a big brother to Booker. Being a Boxer mom is something truly special…from the endless “talking” and heavy snoring to that infinite energy, and sassy personality, we wouldn’t have had it any other way. Our home will never be the same without you. Say hi to Bella for us up there. No more pain, brand-new legs, and endless balls to chase. Although our hearts are broken we know that you’re at peace. We love you so much, Jax, and we’ll miss you until we meet again. 🐾 🌈

Sweet Georgie girl. You lit up our entire world and it feels less bright without you. Waking up next to you every day and being your momma was truly the biggest blessing. My heart hurts immensely, but I am so grateful for all of the days we shared together. Our little toothless wonder. So brave, strong, beautiful, and goofy. You were truly one of a kind. It was fate that we rescued you and truly you rescued us as well. We love and miss you so much.

Bengaloo you will always be in my heart. No other creature could replace you. You were perfect in every way.

Lucy was beautiful and beloved. She could run like the wind. She had a tough start in a hoarding situation. We adopted her from the Licking County Humane Society near Heath, Ohio when she was two years old. She knew when our daughter would arrive home from work, and she stood at the window, tail wagging, upon her arrival. She loved ice cream and long walks at the Dawes Arboritum. She was a cuddler and she was also in her own way very persevering and independent. She made us better people. We will always love you, Lucy. ❤️❤️❤️
