Shaggy you were the best friend anyone could wish for. RIP my friend
Tuesday December 2nd, we said goodbye to our Honeybee. Honey was diagnosed with histiocytic sarcoma in September of this year, and fought so hard. I am in awe of the strength and resiliency she showed throughout her cancer journey. She was a ray of sunshine and a ball of goofy chaos. I am eternally grateful for the time we were given, although no amount of time ever would’ve been long enough. Honeybee, you were my greatest love. You are loved by so many, and will live on within us all.
Was my little partner
Oh Prince Holden the void left by your absence is impossible to fill. You filled my home with so much cheer, love, affection, and playfulness that you made it a place I always wanted to be. It will never feel the same without you and Merc in my bed, but I hope you’re both wrestling having fun together now and forever. You were the best cat anyone could ask for.
Lily, you were the sweetest, most loving, and intuitive dog I have ever met. I am so glad you came into my life and our little family is heartbroken that you had to leave us so soon. You were the best girl and we will love you always.
Thank you for 15 years of love and laughter
Gaia, it was an honor being your mama. You were the silliest, sweetest, and most resilient little princess I've ever met. I'm going to miss you forever, my darling.
We loved you your whole life; we’ll miss you the rest of ours. 🤍
Eulogy for Gemma Beloved Service Dog, Loyal Companion, and Forever Family Member Today, we honor the life of Gemma—a 13-year-old service dog, a fierce little spirit, and a loyal companion to two Marine Corps disabled veterans. Gemma wasn’t just a dog… she was always on duty and a family member. She was a source of strength, comfort, and joy from the very moment she came into our lives at only five weeks old. From the beginning, Gemma had a purpose to serve and protect. She came to us during a time of hardship and uncertainty, helping her mom through difficult times to heal from her latest deployment from Afghanistan and standing faithfully by her side through every moment of training for the Marine Corps Marathon which she was not able to complete due to surgery. She grew into her role with unwavering devotion—always watchful, always ready, always connected to the hearts she was entrusted to heal and protected. Her name had two meanings, and somehow, she embodied both perfectly. She was Gemma, named after Harry Styles’ little sister—sweet, spirited, full of spunk. And she was also Gemma from Sons of Anarchy—bold, vocal, unafraid to let the world know exactly who ran the show. Anyone who met her knew instantly: Gemma was the boss. And she made sure no one ever forgot it. She carried herself with that unmistakable confidence—even down to the diamond collar she wore with pride. She wasn’t just a service dog; she was a queen, and she held her place in the family with grace, humor, and a whole lot of personality. On her final day, Gemma left this world the same way she lived in it—surrounded by love. She took her last breath at 11:02 a.m., resting in her mom’s arms, with her dad and her little brother Diesel by her side. She left knowing she was cherished, protected, and deeply adored. Though our hearts are heavy, we take comfort in imagining her joyful reunion at the Rainbow Bridge. Her big sister Lucky and her big brother Zack are waiting to bring her home—back to Gree and Tatjana—where she can run free, vocal as ever, her spirit shining as brightly as the diamonds she wore. Gemma, our sweet girl… thank you. Thank you for your loyalty, your strength, your sass, your comfort, and your love. You made our lives fuller, our hardships lighter, and our home warmer. You were our protector, our healer, and our constant companion. We love you, Gemma girl. You will forever be missed, and you will forever be ours.
Petey was the sweetest boy in the world. I will miss him every single day. My heart is so broken, but I am so grateful for the years we had.
