She lived, she loved, she left. God’s Grace covered her and I through all seasons. She was my blessing.

Louis was the sweetest and most loving dog. He loved everyone and loved to cuddle, play, and be with his family. He always loved to be held and would immediately jump into your arms and snuggle next to you. He loved to give and get kisses. He loved to play fetch and run around super fast. He loved scratching his back on the bed or carpet. He loved jumping and sniffing around in his yard. He also loved to hike up Millcreek and on the trail in his neighborhood. He was my best friend and I loved spending time with him. He followed me everywhere and was always the best companion. I will never forget him. I talked to him all day and the house feels empty without him.

Our sweet Colby girl… You came into our lives while Darla was still by our side, and we thought we had many years ahead with you both. We never imagined that you’d lose her so soon… or that we’d lose you just months later. But somehow, you were exactly what we needed before we knew we needed you. You softened the pain of Darla’s passing without even trying. Your calm energy, your soft eyes, your little ways of showing up for us they carried us through. You were only here for 19 months, but you left a lifetime of love in your place. We miss you every single day. We talk to you. We cry for you. We thank you. And we pray that you’re running free with Darla now, two kindred spirits who will always be part of us. Please keep watching over us, and maybe, if you can, send a little spark of yourself into the new puppy coming in November. We will never stop loving you, Colby Jac. Lucy was the most remarkable loveable fur baby anyone could have ever wanted. She filled our hearts with love for almost 13 years. She played hard and kept us on our toes and was the glue that held us together during very difficult times. She was smarter than most dogs and very intuitive which earned her the nickname "Nurse Lucy". There is so much to say about her that I cannot express, it would take days, she was my absolute love, my heart, my faithful companion from the day I brought her home at 8 weeks old. She will forever be by my side. I miss you you Lucy and will never forget you 💔

My darling Simba boy. You were the coolest cat. Protector of the house, the most excellent mouser. I loved being your Fur Mom so much. Thank you for the honor of allowing me to care for you. And thank you for all the unconditional love you gave to our household. Seeing you waiting at the door for me when I would come home warmed my heart every time. And I know your Fur Dad felt the same way. Your fur siblings miss you every day and are carrying on doing their best to fill your sweet role. Thank you for being the best boy. I can’t wait to give you chin scratchies and head rubs on the other side of the bridge one day 🌈.

My sweet, Badger. You were truly one of-a-kind. You were always smiling and always happy. You were in tune with me in a way I still wonder if it’s even possible. You were brought to us by happenstance and now I don’t know how our lives will go on without you. You were radiant, strong, and so kind to us. You filled such a hole in our hearts when Dad went to Jesus. You were always there, a steady and constant companion. You knew when we were sad, happy, and everything in between. You kept Mom company during retirement. She loved her time in the yard with you, and loved when you kept her company while sewing. You were so patient with the little boys and did such a good job welcoming them into your house. Badger, we don’t know how our hearts will ever be mended. You were truly our best friend. I don’t want you to worry, we will take good care of your sister, Daisy. There was not a better big brother than you. She loved you so much and looked to you to show her the way. We will do our best to fill in for you. Our Lumpy boy, we will love you forever!

Our Sweet Bella, you were such a wonderful dog! Your eyes lit up when you saw us and you gave us so much joy. We miss you very very much but our consolation is that you are with our Dad, both of you lively, healthy and you are at his side again. We will see each other once again in Heaven.
