Handsome

Handsome, you were handsome. When I saw you at 6 months old it was love at first sight. Then you turned out to be the worst dog I ever had, and you will be my last dog. Took you for training and you performed well for the trainer, but ignored me. Chewed my walls, cost me a fortune for vet and allergist. You created a Valdez oil spill in the middle of my living room carpet after you managed to carry away and licked the cap off of a bottle of used vegetable oil. The living room still smells like KFC. You had separation issues. You would fart in your bed as you slept next to mine. Always in your dad's chair and he'd be mad at me for letting you. The list is long, but I wouldn't have you any other way. You are my last dog because it wouldn't be right to get another dog at my age. Me and Trouble (your buddy, the cat) love and miss you. Say hi for us to all those who have gone before you, and ask them to be on the lookout for us when our time comes. Love you Buddy!

Hudson

Hudson was the best cat I've ever had. He was affectionate and loving. He always was eager to greet me at the door when I'd come home. If I was on the couch, he was on me. If I was at my desk, he was on the desk. I've never had a cat be such a close friend.

Jace McIntyre

Dear God, Thank you for the gift of life. For allowing Jace to be a part of our family. For blessing our lives and our hearts. He has had many roles over the years - son, best friend, brother, uncle - the most loyal companion. He has shown us unconditional love and how to live every day with the upmost joy. God, as you welcome Jace home to eternal paradise, we will honor and cherish our time with this furry angel of yours forever. We know that you will God, but please hold him close, give him all the butt scratches, endless fields to chase squirrels in, a nice cool patch of dirt to dig and rest in and a welcome home party with all of his brothers and sisters. Let him know peace in his passing and lead him to a warm welcome from Vonn, Chad, Puggles, Hurley, Domino, Lady, Obi Wan and all of your wonderful creations. Grief is the last act of love we can give to those we loved. Where there is deep grief, there was great love. Our hearts are so grateful Lord, thank you. Amen.
