Roshi Lanier

Our sweet 15 year old Roshi passed one week ago today. He was a constant joy, a lover of life and carrots, a dear friend, and an astounding teacher. He is and will continue to be missed dearly. He filled every day with love and ridiculousness (there was no bigger goofball). Rest in Peace, sweet boy. May every day where you are be filled with crunchy snacks and chest rubs.

Harlee

Harlee was close to a medical miracle. She was diagnosed with large cell lymphoma and aggressive mass cell disease in August, 2024. we decided not to put her through chemotherapy and treated her with prednisone and Benadryl for the next 13 1/2 months. The doctors told us she would not last more than three months without aggressive chemotherapy, but, knowing the havoc it would wreak on her body and that it would not cure her cancer, we elected a more conservative treatment option. She fought every day to the very end. Doctors Alex and Rachel comforted us as Harlee passed and crossed the rainbow bridge. They were wonderfully compassionate, very professional, and so unbelievably kind and caring during the process of easing Harlee’s transition. Thank you, Lap of Love, and all the staff who made this impossibly difficult situation more bearable. Harlee, you are gone from this life but you will never be forgotten. You’re indomitable spirit, your stubborn but loving nature and how you always wanted to be “boss“ dog will always make me smile when I think of you. Until I see you again, our sweet and brave girl, rest easy. We love you.

Roxie

Roxie was unexpectedly left at our house a year after our other dog passed. Not surprisingly, we were not prepared to care for a rambunctious puppy that was strong willed and overly active, but the rest in pure historical bliss.

Neko

In loving memory of our one-of- a kind Neko. You were a little bit of a bully, a whole lot of sass, and endlessly sweet all at once. You made us laugh, challenged us, and loved us in your own perfect way. Life won’t be the same without your big personality and gentle heart. Run free, our beautiful boy-we will carry your spirit with us always.!
