“There is no exercise better for the heart than reaching down and lifting people up.”
I cannot say enough positive things about the support, care, and attention my dear Tobey and I received from everyone at Lap of Love during this very difficult, stressful, and emotional time. Everyone we were in contact with - the care counselors and hospice vet I spoke with on the phone and the gentle work of Dr. Casey in our home - expressed concern and sympathy. Letting Tobey go was a heart-wrenching decision. We had 17 wonderful years together. Being together at home for our final farewell provided a great measure of comfort. Thank you, Dr. Casey, for your gentle and thoughtful manner and your sincere compassion.
Dr. Amy was wonderfully compassionate and patient. She took special care to make sure that everything went gently and smoothly with Pete's passing. She listened to his history and made sure we had the best information to ensure that we made the right choice for our baby boy.
Dr. Rene was a reassuring and calming presence during this extremely painful process of saying goodbye to our beloved Golden mix Maggie. She extended grace and compassion to Maggie and my entire family. We are so grateful to Dr. Rene and Lap of Love for the service you provide to pets and their family members. Thank you!
Thank you so much for helping Trixie cross the rainbow bridge! You were a great comfort to us. Take care.
