Shanna was amazing, she absolutely understood the mission and very quickly bonded with Daisy. I work for a zoo and Shanna understood the importance of the sloth. The Sloth is a very spiritual animal as it is all about the moment and not being rushed, yet never late. Dr.Shanna understood this and I believe Daisy knew why she had come to visit and help her to her next destination (see Dead Like Me the show). I’m running out of words as I am still trying to figure out how Daisy the peanut butter obsessed dog wanted nothing to do with Tillamook chocolate peanut butter ice cream.
Dr. Kara was absolutely amazing. She treated our sweet Roscoe with love, compassion and complete respect from beginning to end. She made us feel at ease, never rushed and explained everything she was doing. We cannot thank her enough.
We are incredibly grateful to Dr. Megan Hart and the entire Lap of Love team for the compassion and support they gave our family during one of the hardest moments we have ever faced. From our first contact with the intake center, every person we spoke with was patient, kind, and deeply understanding. They treated our situation with empathy and never made us feel rushed or judged. The support staff helped guide us through a heartbreaking decision with such care, answering our questions and making us feel supported every step of the way. Dr. Hart was truly exceptional. She came into our home with warmth, gentleness, and respect for Blu and our entire family. She gave us the time and space we needed, explained everything with compassion, and helped make Blu’s transition peaceful and loving. We will always be grateful that Blu was able to be at home, surrounded by the people who loved her most. While we wish we had never needed their services, we cannot say enough about the kindness, professionalism, and heartfelt care we received from Dr. Hart and the Lap of Love team. They gave Blu dignity and gave our family comfort when we needed it most.
Dr. Allison, we wanted to take the time to thank you regarding your visit of June 17th. Maggie, our 14+ year old chocolate lab, was our pride and joy over the years. We were so grateful for the kindness and understanding that you expressed at that time. It was hard letting go of Maggie but your compassion and kind words made the experience more easier to accept.
