“There is no exercise better for the heart than reaching down and lifting people up.”
Dr. DawnDr. Dawn was the most compassionate, professional vet I have ever encountered! She gave my furchild the most peaceful, loving, and dignified release from this life! In the past, I have always gone to vets and emergency vets when giving one of my furchildren the most respectful gift of letting them die with dignity. Unfortunately, those events were full of stress for both me and my dogs and cats. Lap of Love offers you a chance to peacefully and respectfully allow your furchild to die in their own home with their loved ones. Thank you so much for having this service!

Dr. Alicia She was so kind and reassuring. She gave us the extra time and space we needed to say goodbye. She made sure we were all comfortable with the experience. We are so grateful.

Dr. AlexDr. Yankopoulos and the staff at Lap of Love were compassionate, professional, and caring. While this saying goodbye to our Brooklyn was the hardest thing we had to do, Dr. Yankopoulos made the experience just a little bit easier which made made a world of difference.

Dr. ChrisDr. Hanley was incredibly patient and kind, even on a day that was personally difficult for him. On the morning of our scheduled appointment, unexpected circumstances arose, and we understood there was a real possibility he might not be able to come. Despite this, Dr. Hanley borrowed a friend’s car, thoughtfully prepared for the visit with flowers and a framed heart, and still made his way to our home a few hours later. Under almost any other circumstance, we would have insisted he not come at all, but our 16-year-old dog was truly suffering, and his presence meant everything. Dr. Hanley treated our family and our beloved dog with patience, compassion, and dignity during one of the hardest moments we have faced. We cannot fully express the depth of our gratitude for his care, professionalism, and humanity.
