“There is no exercise better for the heart than reaching down and lifting people up.”
My husband and I found Lap of Love after our sweet Daisy began to decline due to mammary cancer and heart failure. She fought so bravely, but when the time came for her to find peace, Dr. Kristine Campanelli made the transition as gentle and dignified as our girl deserved. She guided us every step of the way with compassion, patience, and a reassuring presence that meant so much during such a difficult moment.
This wasnt our first time losing a pet. This was the first time we did it in our home. We dont know we were expecting, besides lots of tears. What we got was a caring, thoughtful, sympathetic person. She was caring, never rushed, moved as we were ready, and talked to us. Explained what was going to happen, what was happening, and when it was done. Every little step was slow, deliberate, and explained. She only did the next step when we were ready. Usually this feels so clinical, this time it felt loving. I dont know that I will have another pet, but if I do, and we need this service again, I will be coming back here first. Everyone was so kind and caring. As my emotions went crazy, they were supportive. It was a horrible thing to have to go through, and they made it an amazing experience. I appreciate the warmth and kindness from everyone. I will forever miss my doggo, but I am sure this was the best way. No painful car ride, no yucky vet office. Just his home, a lot of love, and peace.
Dr. Molly was so good at her job… patient, kind, professional, compassionate, understanding and a true ANGEL!… she made a hard day… easy!… all I had left to do was CRY!… Everyone At Lap of Love was wonderful!… Thank you, all!
We are so very thankful for Dr. Lisa. She helped our sweet boxer, Mr. Tyson cross the rainbow 🌈 bridge. He really enjoyed his last sweet treat the chocolate chip cookies she brought him.
