Going through such a devastating day losing my childhood dog is a day I will never ever forget. With that process being very hard, Dr. Dane came into our home with the upmost gentle care and respect for our baby. Throughout the process, he gave us all the time we needed, talked to our baby gently and made everything feel as seamless as it could possibly be. Even with our whole family in tears from start to finish, he really did feel like he was part of the family with how much care he showed. I truly admire that there’s individuals who can professionally do this hard job for others who are hurting. We are so grateful for Dr. Dane Buenten, and we were able to be at peace knowing he took such wonderful care of our baby in her last hours. Thank you so much Dr. Dane
Dr Jess helped ease what felt like a nightmare with her kindness and gentleness. There’s no way for anyone to make you feel good during those moments, but respecting the special relationship you have with your pet truly helps. These people know you’d do anything to not have to see them, and they know what you’re going through. There’s tremendous humanity in what they do and I could feel that quite clearly with her. It was truly appreciated.
Dr. Taylor was instrumental in helping us say goodbye to Pippin. She is greatly missed but we feel comfort in knowing she left in the most peaceful way possible. Thank you again Dr. Taylor for coming on such short notice and helping our family say goodbye to Pippin in such a loving, calm and understanding way.
I cannot say enough wonderful things about Lap of Love and Dr. Garcia. It was a terrible situation no matter how you look at it, but Dr. Garcia came in and turned it into something beautiful. The level of care and compassion he showed was so comforting. He treated the whole process with respect and dignity. I would not have changed a thing.
