Lap of Love Veterinarian: Hannah Moloney"Dr. Maloney was amazing. She brought a very calm and loving energy. She helped make Kiki's transition very comfortable and turned a devastating experience into a beautiful and peaceful experience. We are so thankful to her and couldn't have asked for a more compassionate care-giver.. I will never forget the care she took, especially carrying her away tucked in a basket with a cozy blanket at the end. Thank you Dr. Maloney."Lorene LedesmaCanyon Park, BothellSeptember 4, 2019Kiki-kookani's Pet Memorial
Lap of Love Veterinarian: Kim Slade"Doctor Kim enabled us to spend 9 more months with our boy Alex, 17.5 year old German Shorthair Pointer. With her loving and compassionate care, we cherished every minute of our time with him. When the time came, she helped him to cross the rainbow very peacefully. He has a special place in our hearts and is deeply missed by my husband and me as well as his brother and sister, Marcus and Mia. We reached out to Lap of Love because we wanted to let him cross the rainbow at home, the place he loved, surrounded by love and care. We are very grateful to doctor Kim for the compassionate care she gave Alex. Thank you doctor Kim. Ken & Tatiana"Tatiana & Ken WhiteOxfordSeptember 4, 2019
Lap of Love Veterinarian: Anna Champagne"Dr Anna is an incredibly thoughtful and compassionate woman. We asked her why she did this. She said from her own experience she felt there could be a better way for families going through these life altering events and she wanted to help those families. Her intuitions were spot on. She knew when to move forward and when to step back allowing us the time we needed to move onto the next step in the process. Her gentle and soft demeanor was of great comfort during her time with us and we will always be eternally grateful to her for helping THIS family during our life altering event."Kirsten HealdValricoSeptember 4, 2019Max's Pet Memorial

Lap of Love Veterinarian: Christina Scudder"Making the choice to transition your beloved pet comes with many challenges...such as when and how. The "when" can be a terrible choice, but for the "how" I highly recommend Lap of Love. Dr. Chris was wonderfully gentle and supportive. My doggie, LuLu, liked her right away. Dr. Chris explained everything and gave us time to adjust. Having LuLu as my 'life partner' for 9 years was the most wonderful experience I can imagine. I truly feel blessed to have had her in my life...gentle, sweet, beautiful inside and out. When an aggressive and malignant cancer took hold of her, it was an agonizing decision to let her go. If I were to give one piece of advice to those trying to decide what to do, I would say use Lap of Love. Instead of waiting until the last possible moment that could traumatize all, and be in an emergency situation, it is better to make the decision oneself. I miss her terribly, but the experience with Dr. Chris gave me the memory of a peaceful and easy transition that LuLu made into the Lap of the Angels. Thank you Dr. Chris and Lap of Love!"Kathy LiszewskiChesterfieldSeptember 3, 2019
Lap of Love Veterinarian: Lori Braun"Jack was our travel monkey. He was our shadow and went everywhere with us. Dr. Braun made his last moments as comfortable and stress-free for him as possible. We got to see our boy pass in a way that was beautiful and comforting. In our time of grief we had the opportunity, thanks to Dr. Braun and her compassion, to focus on our love for our boy and each other. We owe Lap of Love and Dr. Braun our sincere appreciation."Scott KlugKeizerSeptember 3, 2019

Lap of Love Veterinarian: Kara Fuchs"We were faced with the tough decision to say goodbye to our Bailey boy. We loved him as part of our family for 16 years. It is such a hard decision but we knew it was the right one. Dr. Kara came to our home and we cannot say enough good things about her. She was so kind, caring and gave us as much time as we needed with Bailey. She took the time to walk us through the whole process of what would happen. She was so gentle with him and made sure he was comfortable the entire time. Lap of Love was a blessing to our family during such a difficult time. Thank you Dr. Kara for all you did for us."Erica ScottBlaineSeptember 3, 2019
Lap of Love Veterinarian: Kristine Campanelli"Buddy was with us for nearly 12 years. We adopted him from North Shore Animal League and he has been our beautiful boy every moment of his life. He was smart and funny, courageous and strong, gentle with our grandchildren as babies, and a constant happy boy right up to the moment he crossed.

Thank you Kristine, for your loving embrace of our family, our Buddy and our deep sadness. The gentle manner and patient spirit you brought into our home was exactly what we needed to help our Buddy pass peacefully. Our hearts were breaking, but you extended your hands and heart to help us walk one of the hardest walks of our lives.

We have already referred Lap of Love to two other families. Losing a beloved dog is one of the hardest times, but Kristine was the calm presence that came to our assistance. THANK YOU SO MUCH. Deb & George"

Lap of Love Veterinarian: Allie Prokop"It takes a special person to be a veterinarian who serves the pets and their owners at a very difficult time. Dr. Allie was like an angel sent to me and Masha in his last days. Her compassion was genuine and her ability to comfort and make Masha’s transition an easy and peaceful experience demonstrated her gifting in her profession. Thank you, Dr. Allie. You are truly a blessing. 😻"Susan HillonKnoxvilleSeptember 3, 2019Masha's Pet Memorial
Lap of Love Veterinarian: Will Basinger"I could not bear the thought of driving to our vet and having my dog euthanized in a clinical setting. Lap of Love was very compassionate and professional. My dog did not suffer. She just rested on her favorite blanket and ate some peanut butter while the sedative was being administered. Definitely worth the extra money to reduce the trauma to my dog and to us."Karen WilsonColumbiaSeptember 3, 2019
Lap of Love Veterinarian: Ashley Payne"Using Lap of Love is not a service that anyone enjoys using necessarily but I must say that every person I dealt with was the most compassionate and caring person without exception. Making the initial call was certainly the one of the hardest parts for me personally and the each time I called, I was just allowed time to catch my breath or cry. It is a very difficult call to make and I was treated with such care and understanding.

Dr. Ashley came to my home and was even able to come a little earlier when I knew it was time to say goodbye. She was most the most caring person and showed me and my cat Bobo such tenderness. I was slightly nervous given I had never experienced this before and Dr. Ashley spent so much time with me and my pet and made me feel very comfortable with the process. I actually felt a sense of peace knowing I had the gift to say goodbye at home without causing any more stress to my cat which was priceless. I even received a follow-up note and was provided support to ehlp me through my grief afterwards. Lap is Love is wonderful and every person I worked with was a gift in my time of grief."

Lap of Love Veterinarian: Lauren Peek, DVM"We would like to thank Dr. Lauren for her loving care of Jessie and our family that helped to make one of our hardest days a little bit easier. She was so gentle and kind in reassuring us that we were doing the right thing for our sweet Jessie Lu after her quality of life had deteriorated very quickly over the past week. She helped guide Jessie to the Rainbow Bridge surrounded by our family who will always love her. We greatly appreciate that Dr. Peek sent a follow up email the next day to see how we were doing and keep us updated on Jessie’s aftercare with Hurricane Dorian pending. This made us realize our sweet angel was indeed in caring hands. Thanks Dr. Lauren!"CelebrationSeptember 2, 2019Jessie's Pet Memorial
Lap of Love Veterinarian: Elyse Persico"The loss of Tiff was profound to our family. She came to us as a rescue/foster and we were told she would live for 6 months. We made her part of our family by adoption and she lived with us for 2 1/2 years when her cancer returned. Dr. Elyse made this very sad time meaningful with much compassion for Tiff and us. Dr. Elyse spent much caring time with us, explained every step and in the end Tiff went on peacefully, surrounded by her family and Dr. Elyse. I can't say enough about the experience with Dr. Elyse and I would strongly encourage anyone having to make such difficult end of life decision to contact her."Francine GriffinNorfolkSeptember 2, 2019
Lap of Love Veterinarian: Elizabeth Hilton"Dr. Liz was absolutely wonderful and kind of one of our most difficult days ever. Lap of Love Veterinarian: Kristine Campanelli"I consider it a blessing to have found Lap of Love in our time of need. Casey, my Golden Retriever, was almost 13 and had many medical issues. When he stopped eating and was obviously in distress it was time to relieve his suffering. The happiest dog in the world was no longer happy. I found Lap of Love during an on-line search and I confirmed with a friend that he used the same organization when it was time to euthanize his beloved pet. Dr. Kristine was kind, compassionate, caring, professional and understanding of my heartbreak. She provided much needed stability and comfort during a time of profound grief and sorrow. I would recommend Lap of Love, and Dr. Kristine in particular, to anyone with a pet who is suffering and has come to the end of his/her life."Miller PlaceSeptember 2, 2019

Lap of Love Veterinarian: Jennifer Walters"Lap of Love (NC) is a Godsend. This was my first in-home euthanasia and everything from my 1st inquiry to having my boy's ashes returned to me was perfection.

Dr. Jenn arrived promptly at the scheduled time and was very prepared. My sweet Jeb warmed up to her immediately. She responded with lots of scratches and rubs and my boy was very comfortable with her. Dr Jenn had such a calm demeanor and was very good at explaining each step.

With Jeb's declining health, his veins were very hard to locate but Dr Jenn persevered calming making sure Jeb was to sense any stress or discomfort. She was prepared with adequate doses of the required injections to handle my 135 lb baby. She was extremely focussed on making sure Jeb and I were prepared and in a good place.

The transition was very peaceful. It helped tremendously that my boy was dreaming big time while under the sedation. He was having a great dream, running and making his usual cute dream facial expressions. He was definitely in a fun place. It was so heart warming to see him like that before passing.

Dr. Jenn was also very helpful with assisting Faithful Companion with the transporting of my x-tra large boy. She ensured my boy be removed with the utmost dignity and care.

Thank you Dr. Jenn for the wonderful care of my boy, Jeb, during this difficult time. He left happy and at home - like most of us would want."

Lap of Love Veterinarian: Kristine Campanelli"As difficult as this decision was I’m so glad that lap of love gave us the option To have Daisy’s last moments at home. Kristine was absolutely amazing throughout the entire process. She spent a lot of time listening to all the stories my sister, mom, and I told her about daisy and our other pets. When she saw any one of us start to get upset she distracted us by asking us something about daisy. She explained what might be going on with my cat why she was acting the way that she was acting and what the process would be like. I’m so glad we got to do this in a low stress environment and I’m so glad Kristine was as calm and relaxing as she could be. I really appreciate what she did for my family and I’d recommend Lap of Love's services to anyone who needs it."Georgie MantovaniSayvilleSeptember 1, 2019
