Lap of Love Veterinarian: Jason Goodwin, DVM"Dr. Goodwin and Tory where some of the most compassionate people I've ever met. The decision to put Lucy down was difficult but necessary and they both put forth every effort to make sure Lucy's last moments were spent in comfort and love. I feel so lucky to have found them and I know Lucy felt the same."Karen RippLakewoodAugust 1, 2014Lucy's Pet Memorial
Lap of Love Veterinarian: Katie Billmaier, DVM"My beloved dog Abby fought a 10 month battle with lymphoma. She was my constant companion and source of unconditional love. However it was time to let her go...to let her rest. Dr Katie with Lap of Love was recommended by one of the girls at my vet's office. It was a day of overwhelming sadness to say goodbye to my constant companion of the past 10 years...made bearable by the compassion and care of Dr. Katie. She allowed us to share memories of Abby and all the time we needed to say goodbye. Her passing was peaceful and painless. Dr Katie and my son gently placed her on a doggie sized stretcher, wrapped in a blanket covered with dog bones print. The top corner was folded back to see her sweet face. It was a compassionate and dignified end to the life of a dog who was everything to me. I do not hesitate to recommend Dr Katie and Lap of Love to anyone who is losing their best dog friend. Dr Katie is simply wonderful."Connie MascheraWoodstockAugust 1, 2014
Lap of Love Veterinarian: Brad Bates"We had to let our girl Roxy go yesterday. This is the day that every pet owner dreads but I feel at peace with our decision. I can't thank Dr. Brad enough for the love, compassion and respect that he gave to all of us during this most difficult time. We were comforted by his words and actions and feel blessed that Roxy is now at peace, going home exactly how we had hoped, in her home that she loved. Thank you, Dr. Brad!"Gerri LippDresherAugust 1, 2014
Lap of Love Veterinarian: Katie Stender"I can't thank Dr. Katie enough for her assistance with Rambo's passing. He was my best buddy for 12 years. Couldn't imagine him passing in a vet hospital as just another euthanasia. Dr. Katie made the process so much more warm and comfortable for both Rambo and myself. He deserved the easiest and most comfortable passing and Dr. Katie provided it. She was a gift from God and I will never forget her. I hope that anyone facing the difficult decision of putting their beloved pet to sleep will consider Lap of Love for assistance."Bernadine RicciJacksonvilleAugust 1, 2014
Lap of Love Veterinarian: Kiva James, DVM"I would recommend Lap of Love to anyone who owns a pet. Ted never had to go through the stress of going to the Vet that day. He was at home, relaxed, and surrounded with the people and things he loved. It was truly a blessing that we had Dr. Kiva James come to us. Thank you so much for your love and compassion for pets and their families! You are an amazing lady!"Deb DicksLongwoodJuly 31, 2014Ted Dicks (teddy Bear)'s Pet Memorial
Lap of Love Veterinarian: Annie Dion-Byrd"Dr. Annie,
Thank you so much for your kindness and compassion while helping my sweet Riesling make the trip to Rainbow Bridge. I am so thankful that a service like Lap of Love exists as I could not imagine having to bring my sweet girl into a clinic for the last moments of her life. You were so caring and gentle, and your compassion for my girl (and me) was so comforting. I especially appreciated you explaining each step to me, and telling me what Riesling would be experiencing. It really helped make the whole process less traumatic for me. I can't thank you enough for being there. Best wishes, Caroline Randall"

Lap of Love Veterinarian: Annie Dion-Byrd"Dr. Annie was so caring it made a very painful ordeal a comforting one. Dr. Annie explained everything to us, so we could understand the process. We were able to spend the the last minutes of our kitty's life next to her on our/her sofa, while our Belle drifted into eternal sleep."Tom and Carol GuralskiClermont, FLJuly 31, 2014Belle's Pet Memorial
Lap of Love Veterinarian: Jennifer Cook, DVM"As our little buddy neared the end of his days, I couldn't bring myself to take him in to the veterinarian's office. He hated going to the vet's office. As soon as Noah figured out where he was at he wanted to high-tail it out of there. Thankfully a friend told us about Lap of Love. Dr. Jennifer made the whole process so much better. It was still hard, but Noah was able to stay in his normal environment and and not have to suffer the trip to the vet. I cannot thank Dr. Jennifer enough. It is a hard thing to put your dog down. They are family. But Dr. Jennifer and Lap of Love provided a much better alternative. I highly recommend them to anyone who loves their pet as my family loved Noah, our little buddy,"John HeidelmeierKnoxvilleJuly 30, 2014
Lap of Love Veterinarian: Brad Bates"Dr. Brad,
I really can't imagine doing what you do for a living but I am so grateful that you do.
Your calm nature and caring words were very much appreciated during such an emotional and stressful time.
You gave my little girl a stress free end of life in our backyard that she loved so much.
I couldn't imagine taking her into the vet, with strangers, in a sterile room with nothing familiar around her.
It is a beautiful thing that you can do this for families and help give beloved pets a respectful passing.
You are truly a beautiful spirit and I have an enormous amout of respect for you.
I miss Pandora so much, but you helped to create such a sweet and respectful good bye.
Thank you for your compassion and service, you really are a true lover of animals (and people)
With much Love xoxo"

Lap of Love Veterinarian: Brad Bates"Before we made the decision to put our sweet 13 year old dog, Sallie, to sleep after her illness, we researched endlessly on how we could provide a more peaceful and comfortable passing at home for her. We came upon the Lap of Love website and read everyone's testimonies on Dr. Brad. We knew right away that he was going to be the best fit for us based on what others wrote. I don't think we ever could have imagined just how compassionate Dr. Brad truly was. He was patient, understanding and was there to try to make things easier for us, even if it was just a sympathetic ear. God Bless Dr. Brad. He truly is an angel on earth."Flora and Bruce YarnallEast NorritonJuly 30, 2014
Lap of Love Veterinarian: Shannon Skevakis"My husband and I recently lost our beloved dog, Buddy. Although we are struggling with our own grief at this time, we know that Buddy passed in the most humane, loving way possible. We want to thank Dr. Shannon Skevakis for her compassion and care of our gentle Buddy. Our experience with in-home euthanasia has been overwhelmingly positive. Thank you and bless you for the work you do Dr. Shannon - we will be forever grateful that our Buddy never suffered."Donna YostNorth PlainfieldJuly 30, 2014
Lap of Love Veterinarian: Katie Stender"Dr. Katie was great. She made my losing of my kid a lot easier then it would of been. I miss him so much, he was the greatest puppy ever. I love you Sammy. Thanks for letting him be able to be at home for his last day."Chris GayJacksonville BeachJuly 29, 2014

Lap of Love Veterinarian: Brad Bates"Luca was such a sweet little boy who my husband and I love very much. There are so many happy memories over the last 10 years that we will cherish always. Having to say goodbye to Luca was so hard, but we know it was the right thing to do. Luca was able to go peacefully in my arms in the home where he was truly loved. Dr. Brad is a very compassionate person who was there for Luca as well as there to comfort us during such a difficult and emotional time. Thank you, Dr. Brad."Erin KellyBristolJuly 29, 2014
Lap of Love Veterinarian: Barry Cherno, DVM"Dr. Barry is superb. Having a week to say good-byes, I wanted to expedite the process when he arrived. Although normally not at a loss for words, this was one. Because he took a few moments to share his wisdom with Shepherds; how many owners wait until their hips no longer support them, I found solace in these words. He is gentle, kind, and compassionate. I am thankful for his service and assistance."Joe Grosswesley chapelJuly 29, 2014
Lap of Love Veterinarian: Brad Bates"July 21st our precious little boy passed away quietly and peacefully. He fought a very hard battle the last year and one half. In fact he beat 95% of the odds by lasting that long. The doctors and nurses at Penn Vet told us that throughout that period he never whined or whimpered once during treatment. He lived up to the nickname we gave him years ago, "Toughie Muldoon". Cosmo's life was one of love as defined by not only receiving love but by giving it every day. One of the greatest gifts Cosmo had was the ability to make everyone who saw him smile. Whether it was passersby on the street either walking or in their cars or when people came to our home the immediate reaction was a big smile. For the past nine years he filled a space in our hearts that can never be replaced. There is now a surreal sadness that has enveloped our home but we will carry on and Cosmo's spirit of pure love will never leave us. I am attaching our favorite picture of Cosmo which shows him as his most handsome self.
Dr. Brad is the epitome of a sensitive and caring individual. His confident and compassionate nature was so helpful during this very upsetting time. Thank goodness for him. Now we are left with creating a "new normal" with the absence of such a loving light force in our home."

Lap of Love Veterinarian: Laura Allison, DVM"Amber who has been a part of our family for 10 of her 15 years found herself ready for heaven and it was heaven who sent us Laura Allison. She provided such a peaceful answer to our prayers on how to part with our beautiful Amber. The service provided by Lap of Love is truly wonderfull, in what can only be described as one of lifes toughest choices to make for you beloved pet. Laura was so kind and gentle that she interacted with us like she was part of our family. I can not begin to scratch the surface on how much I recommend Lap of Love. Not having to bring you aging or sick pet to the vet with all the emotional trauma associated with the trip and entering the waiting room, not to mention the sterile atmosphere in the room you'll say goodbye to your beloved pet is beyond further words. There is not better way than being able to say your farewells from the comfort of your home.

Goodbye our sweet Amber, we love and miss you............"
