Helping Families Honor the Lives Of Those They Love
Lap of Love Veterinarian: Cindi Worrall, DVM"Dr. Worral was so caring and kind from the moment she called me back. She understood what we were going through and was patient and comforting in our hardest decision. When she arrived, Harry greeted her with wagging tail and later gave her kisses. We could tell he was comfortable with her and he had no anxiety. Harry hated riding in the car - it was so stressful for him. So it was a relief to us to be able to spare him that last trauma. It was later in the evening, and I know she must have been tired from working all day but she never once made us feel rushed about any part of the procedure.

We all made Harry very comfy on his own bed, and as my husband and I petted him, she professionaly took care of giving him the shot to relax him. She was so gentle and kind, Harry never even flinched. When he was finally sleeping, she helped him let go with the final injection. He never felt any of the needles, he never whimpered. He just went to sleep in our arms with all three of us giving him love, attention and care.

She gave us time alone to say goodbye. She made a paw print and gave us some of his fur. Then, she and my husband carefully wrapped Harry snuggly in his blanket with his baby and toys and carefully took him out on the stretcher to her car. She explained how the group cremation worked and it sounded just like what we had in mind.

I would so highly recommend Dr. Worrall and Lap of Love. This is such a phenomenal service and a great option for our furry family members.

We can never thank you enough for the kindness you shared with our family. Me, my husband and our children thank you for taking such good care of our Harry."

Lap of Love Veterinarian: David Rousseau, DVM"I just want to say that Dr. Rousseau was very kind and compassionate when it came time for my Guinness to go over the "rainbow bridge". I cannot say enough about this kind man and how he took care of my Guinness and my family. We miss Guinness everyday, but know that he went peacefully to a better place.
Thank you Dr. Rousseau."

Lap of Love Veterinarian: Kim Simons, DVM"I just want to thank Dr. Kim Simons and Lap of Love for what you do! My baby Cheyenne was assisted by Dr. Kim yesterday 5/19/13 to the Rainbow Bridge. Dr. Kim helped us so much and was so comforting to me personally as I had doubts that I was doing the right thing. Cheyenne, was a loyal girl and would have kept going as long as she could for me. This is a wonderful service and I will highly recommend this to everyone i know who has a pet. I made a difficult decision a little easier."Alisa GiudiceBoca RatonMay 20, 2013

Lap of Love Veterinarian: Cindi Worrall, DVM"Dr. Cindi was very compassionate to us and our dog, Lacey. Our wish for Lacey was to give her peaceful last moments in her home. Dr. Cindi was wonderful with Lacey and was a blessing to us. We are very lucky we found her and would recommend her to anyone who wants their last moments with their beloved pet to be special."Mary Ann and Joe InzoneSpring CityMay 19, 2013
Lap of Love Veterinarian: Anthony J. Smith, DVM"Dr. Smith was very responsive and accommodating. Unfortunately, it came sooner than I thought that I would need to send my Cleo to a better place. He made a same day appointment, was timely, and most importantly had the right disposition for such a hard time. I've a lot of respect for the services he offers, it meant the world to me to have Cleo, home where she was safe and loved when the time came for her to pass on. Yet, I understand that he sees people at such a difficult time.

Thank you truly for your accommodations and your thoughtful services.

all the best..."

Lap of Love Veterinarian: Laura Theobald, DVM"I just wanted to say a huge thank you to Dr. Theobald for her service this past Thursday. Our beloved lab mix, Bo was almost 16 years old when we decided it was time for him to rest. Dr. Theobald was the sweetest, compassionate and patient person and made the dreaded time much more bearable. I also want to thank the person (sorry but can't remember his name) who lovingly and respectfully took him away. I will never forget the kindness of the two of you. Bo was very special to us and we were so blessed to have him in our lives for so long. Thanks again and God bless."Donna LovillConcordMay 11, 2013
Lap of Love Veterinarian: Michelle Bellville, DVM"Belle was given 6 weeks to live last September. She proved a few people wrong but knew that her time was coming soon. We decided that our last gift to Belle was letting her pass peacefully at home. Dr. Bellville came to us last Friday night only 2 hours after we made the phone call. She was so patient with my dog as well as with me and my husband. Dr. Bellville was respectful and sensitive to our needs and I am so thankful that we made the decision to have a doctor from Lapoflove be part of saying goodbye to Belle. I have already recommended her to friends that have aging pets."Debbie GagnonOrlandoMay 9, 2013
Lap of Love Veterinarian: Laura Allison, DVM"Words can't describe how wonderful Dr. Laura and Lap Of Love Veterinarian are. She made one of the most painful and unbearable moments bearable. Lap of Love Veterinarian: Sara Fletcher, DVM"We were on our way to the emergency vet in Greensboro, thinking that might be our only last-minute after-hours option for our little 17-yr old Yorkie, "Baylee". She had been in declining health for several months, but had unexpectedly taken a turn for the worse on Monday night, May 6th, at around 7 PM. A friend at my gym had told me about 'Lap of Love'. I called and got Dr. Sara and she said she could come right over. We turned the car around and went back home and the Dr. met us there about 20 minutes later. We had our final moments with our precious little girl in our own bedroom at home. It was very special. We will never forget the kindness that Dr. Sara showed us & Baylee. We miss her with all our heart, but know she is no longer able to hurt. Thank you again Dr. Sara."Dean BoulwareHigh PointMay 9, 2013
Lap of Love Veterinarian: Dana Lewis"It's been almost 8 months since Dr. Dana helped us free our Labrador Lucy from chronic, crippling pain, and even now it's hard to write this. There was no way I could have driven home from a vet's office with my girl gone, but in the back of the car.

Instead, Dr. Dana came to us on a Saturday evening, with a kindness and compassion that showed she understood that letting Lucy go was one of the hardest things we had ever done. There was nothing happy about that awful day, but I'm forever grateful to Dr. Dana for making it just a little less awful."

Lap of Love Veterinarian: Marguerite Voorhees, DVM"Many thanks to Dr Voorhees for your gentle kindness and compassion. What a wonderful service you do for pets and their families. Though it has been very hard letting our beloved friend Jodie go, your kindness made it somehow easier for us. Jodie's last minutes here with us were very peaceful and full of love and caring. Lap of Love Veterinarian: Jen Bansel, DVM"I want to thank Dr. Bansel for helping us take care of Magnum in the last few moments of his life. Dr. Bansel made the process as best as it could be considering the grief our family was already feeling knowing that we were saying good bye to such an important member of our family that has been in our lives for the last 12 years.

Magnum has always been afraid of any and all processes with veterinarians and his size often intimidated most doctors. Dr. Bansel treated Magnum and our family with such grace and compassion that Magnum was quickly able to accept her presence which made us all feel so much better.

Words can not express how hard it has been for us to lose Magnum, but Dr. Bansel made the best out of this heart breaking decision and process for us. We couldn't have asked for Magnum to have better care in his final moments on earth. Dr. Bansel was also kind enough to reassure me with some of my concerns later in the day which meant the world to me.

Thank you Dr. Bansel.

Sincerely,
Cindy King"

Lap of Love Veterinarian: Jennifer Cook, DVM"Dr. Jennifer Cook was exactly what we needed for Sunny. We chose at home because Sunny was always terrified of the vets office. Dr. Cook came to the house and treated Sunny like a friend with petting and encouraging words. Sunny was never afraid and since we must all eventually say goodbye I could not have asked for it to have been any better. Dr. Cook was also very kind and understanding to me and my wife during this difficult time. She explained what would happen all while petting Sunny. She gave us the time we needed to say our goodbyes and grieve as well. Thank you again Dr. Cook."Justin CampbellKnoxvilleMay 4, 2013Sunny's Pet Memorial
Lap of Love Veterinarian: Brad Bates"I am so grateful to Dr. Brad for giving our sweet 16 year old dog, Zilla, a peaceful passing. The service offered by Lap of Love and Dr. Brad permitted Zilla to pass in the safety and comfort of her home. Dr. Brad made the effort to connect with Zilla in her final moments. His kindness and words of assurance were invaluable to us during that difficult time."Shanna FPhiladelphiaMay 3, 2013

Lap of Love Veterinarian: Sara Fletcher, DVM"The minute Dr. Sara walked into our home I knew my boy would be in good hands. She explained all details to me and answered all my questions. Dr. Sara is knowledgeable in her area and also as important she is a compassionate person who takes this responsibility to heart. My schedule was her guide and my need to want to hold on to Jade as long as possible was the priority. I will never forget the care and love she showed Jade and his family to fulfill our wishes. Jade was calm as if somehow he knew Dr. Sara was a friend."Sandy CameronGreensboroMay 2, 2013Jade's Pet Memorial
