Helping Families Honor the Lives Of Those They Love
Lap of Love Veterinarian: Dani McVety"Dr. McVety was very caring and supportive. Some medical doctors and funeral directors could take a page from her book. Our Pete, a big lug of a Labrador - Pit Bull mix, was eased gently and peacefully from this life blissfully unaware of what was transpiring with his tail a-wag and a grin on his face. Dr. Dani removed his remains with dignity and thoughtfully provided us a paw print and wisp of fur accompanied by her sympathy card. Today she followed up with a supportive note assuring us that our very difficult decision was in the best concern of Pete. I personally feel that euthanizing a pet is a breach of love and trust but sometimes it must be done and Dr. Dani helped assuage that overwhelming feeling of guilt."Joe & Kathy Donahue/LoganWesley ChapelMay 31, 2013Pete's Pet Memorial
Lap of Love Veterinarian: Angela Bross, DVM"Dr. Angela was our angel who came and took our beloved cat Rudy softly away from his suffering. She answered our call in our time of need on a holiday weekend when we didn't think we'd be able to reach anyone. She saved our Rudy a trip to the vet in his last hours and allowed him to pass as peacefully as possible at home surrounded by his family. She was so patient and understanding of our every concern, and has been so supporting afterwards. We are forever grateful to you Dr. Angela, thank you so much."Glen HarrisNewport NewsMay 31, 2013
Lap of Love Veterinarian: Brad Bates"It has been almost two months since our Max passed on. We still miss Max and think of him often. We found Dr. Bates to be very compassionate and caring with our Max. The process went smoothly and we felt very comfortable with our decision to use Lap of Love. Putting a pet down is never easy but having the process take place at home where Max was not put under additional stress made it somewhat easier. I would recommend Dr. Bates and Lap of Love to anyone who has to make this very difficult decision."Elizabeth JoyceDrexel HIllMay 31, 2013
Lap of Love Veterinarian: Alicia Manlio-Petry, DVM"I am so thankful that I found out about Lap of Love from my vet. I know that my dog wasn't stressed in any way, and she was so kind and patient with me today. It went exactly as I'd hoped it would. He was so peaceful. Hopefully it will be a long time before I'm faced with this situation again, but I know that I would want them to come to me again. It was truly a blessing to be able to hold my boy until he took his last breath in our home, on his bed."Dana EspositoJacksonvilleMay 30, 2013Maximus's Pet Memorial
Lap of Love Veterinarian: Laura Devlin Bacon, DVM DABVP"Many thanks to Dr. Devlin for her helping us give the final gift of peace to our loving labrador, Pele. The empathy and respect she showed for our feelings and to Pele helped put us at ease with this very difficult decision. At 14 years old Pele was apparently a victim of dementia and arthritis and was obviously in quite a lot of pain that he could not understand. We felt better when the sedation eased his distress and he was able to quitely slip away to his better place. We take solice in knowing that his suffering has ended with the same love and devotion he had given our family these past 14 years. Thanks to Dr. Devlin for her emotional commitment to her four legged clients."Richard MeehanKnoxvilleMay 30, 2013

Lap of Love Veterinarian: David Rousseau, DVM"Our deepest gratitude to Dr. David for helping us send our NewBe to kitty heaven. NewBe was 21 years old and was our baby. The only thing we wanted was for her to be unafraid and die with dignity. Dr. David did this for us. He was patient, kind, compassionate -- all the traits you would expect this type of vet to have -- and more. He treated NewBe as if she was his own pet and like we were family. I will never forget his tenderness during this very difficult decision. There was nothing missing. He emailed us shortly after Newbe passed and sent a beautiful, handwritten card. We wanted the best for our old baby, and she had it. Our deepest gratitude and blessings to Dr. David. Mary Jo & Tommy Dwyer XX"MARY JO DWYERSquantum, QuincyMay 27, 2013
Lap of Love Veterinarian: Laura Allison, DVM"She was wonderful. Dr. Laura explained everything that Chester would go through. I was relieved that we did not have to drive to the vet's office. It was great that we did not have rush and Chester was able to pass without any pain."Janet NaylonWestonMay 26, 2013Chester naylon's Pet Memorial

Lap of Love Veterinarian: Brad Bates"Dr. Brad was awesome! At a very hard time! He gave us all the time we needed with our English Mastiff Zoe. Our baby girl! Who had suffered a stroke and was not going to recover from. We contacted Dr. Brad he came to our home. At 8 in the evening, I was had to run to a meeting for our Town. And he awaited me and spoke with our wife and kids. And explained the process. I got home about 8:20 and Dr. Brad again advised me of how it was going to be done. He took the time to make Casts of Zoes Paws for us. And consoled all of us at the worst time. He and his team helped carry Zoe out and had her returned to us in a few days. And followed up with a Beautiful Card! We would highly recommend him to anyone! Said to say but he is the BEST at What he does! Thank you Dr. Brad!"Suzanne & Jeff MillerPitmanMay 22, 2013
Lap of Love Veterinarian: Cindi Worrall, DVM"Dr. Worral was so caring and kind from the moment she called me back. She understood what we were going through and was patient and comforting in our hardest decision. When she arrived, Harry greeted her with wagging tail and later gave her kisses. We could tell he was comfortable with her and he had no anxiety. Harry hated riding in the car - it was so stressful for him. So it was a relief to us to be able to spare him that last trauma. It was later in the evening, and I know she must have been tired from working all day but she never once made us feel rushed about any part of the procedure.

We all made Harry very comfy on his own bed, and as my husband and I petted him, she professionaly took care of giving him the shot to relax him. She was so gentle and kind, Harry never even flinched. When he was finally sleeping, she helped him let go with the final injection. He never felt any of the needles, he never whimpered. He just went to sleep in our arms with all three of us giving him love, attention and care.

She gave us time alone to say goodbye. She made a paw print and gave us some of his fur. Then, she and my husband carefully wrapped Harry snuggly in his blanket with his baby and toys and carefully took him out on the stretcher to her car. She explained how the group cremation worked and it sounded just like what we had in mind.

I would so highly recommend Dr. Worrall and Lap of Love. This is such a phenomenal service and a great option for our furry family members.

We can never thank you enough for the kindness you shared with our family. Me, my husband and our children thank you for taking such good care of our Harry."

Lap of Love Veterinarian: David Rousseau, DVM"I just want to say that Dr. Rousseau was very kind and compassionate when it came time for my Guinness to go over the "rainbow bridge". I cannot say enough about this kind man and how he took care of my Guinness and my family. We miss Guinness everyday, but know that he went peacefully to a better place.
Thank you Dr. Rousseau."

Lap of Love Veterinarian: Kim Simons, DVM"I just want to thank Dr. Kim Simons and Lap of Love for what you do! My baby Cheyenne was assisted by Dr. Kim yesterday 5/19/13 to the Rainbow Bridge. Dr. Kim helped us so much and was so comforting to me personally as I had doubts that I was doing the right thing. Cheyenne, was a loyal girl and would have kept going as long as she could for me. This is a wonderful service and I will highly recommend this to everyone i know who has a pet. I made a difficult decision a little easier."Alisa GiudiceBoca RatonMay 20, 2013

Dr. Cindi was wonderful with Lacey and was a blessing to us. Lap of Love Veterinarian: Anthony J. Smith, DVM"Dr. Smith was very responsive and accommodating. Unfortunately, it came sooner than I thought that I would need to send my Cleo to a better place. He made a same day appointment, was timely, and most importantly had the right disposition for such a hard time. I've a lot of respect for the services he offers, it meant the world to me to have Cleo, home where she was safe and loved when the time came for her to pass on. Yet, I understand that he sees people at such a difficult time.

Thank you truly for your accommodations and your thoughtful services.

all the best..."

Lap of Love Veterinarian: Laura Theobald, DVM"I just wanted to say a huge thank you to Dr. Theobald for her service this past Thursday. Our beloved lab mix, Bo was almost 16 years old when we decided it was time for him to rest. Dr. Theobald was the sweetest, compassionate and patient person and made the dreaded time much more bearable. I also want to thank the person (sorry but can't remember his name) who lovingly and respectfully took him away. I will never forget the kindness of the two of you. Bo was very special to us and we were so blessed to have him in our lives for so long. Thanks again and God bless."Donna LovillConcordMay 11, 2013
