Last week we finally made the oh-so-difficult decision to let our sweet 17-year-old Saluki girl go. As you know if you have very had to do this or if you are contemplating now, it is one of the hardest and most heart-wrenching decisions ever. Upon contacting Lap of Love and throughout the entire process, we were treated with the utmost kindness and consideration imaginable. Dr. Mark was the most compassionate, understanding and patient Doctor I have ever witnessed. He explained everything in detail, reminisced with us, allowed us all the time needed through each step of our girl Rasha's passing. Dr. Mark and Lap of Love made one of the hardest, painful moments as beautiful and peaceful as it could have possibly have been. He was so very sweet, gentle, and caring with Rasha, before, during and after her passing. His respectfulness for her life and our broken hearts did not stop when he so carefully placed her in his car-- he even drove away very slowly and respectfully. I will forever be so thankful for Lap of Love and Dr. Mark for helping us in our last moments with our dear Rasha. You are truly a blessing. Thank you Lap of Love and Dr. Mark. You will always hold a special place in our hearts.
Saying goodbye to a beloved pet is never easy, but Dr. Dana made sure Hope’s final moments were peaceful, calm, and surrounded by love. That gift is something we will never forget. Dr. Green was amazing. She is so kind, patient and compassionate. She was so gentle with our sweet boy, even when he had passed and took extra care with preparing his body. I could tell how much heart she puts into this and I am forever grateful for her.
