Both Dr. Kamilah and the intake woman who answered our call, were both so soft spoken and calming, at was one of the most difficult times in our lives. The Loving and Peaceful passing of our Sweet Boy “Panda” in our own home, was such an amazing experience. Everything that was done for us was done in such consideration for both our comfort, and for the comfort of our pet. The validation of our decision that it was the right time was most reassuring. We were given time before, during and after Panda’s passing to be sure we were ready for each next step and to say our goodbyes. We have shared our experience with friends, family and acquaintances, and have told them that they should contact “Lap of Love” when they need this type of service. We certainly would use them again. We are still so amazed by the rapid response, extreme care and kindness that was shown to us, especially during these stressful times. It was so very appreciated.
On December 18, 2025, We needed to put our lovely, wonderful cat out of her misery. Dr. Brian came to our house and was incredibly loving and sensitive to her needs. After explaining the procedure, I started to get up from the big chair, which was holding Bonnie and me. But instead, Dr. Brian knelt by Bonnie and proceeded to gently put her out of her misery while I was holding her. I am so grateful to him. Three weeks later, we had her brother, Clyde, in the same extremis (litter mates, they were both 18 years old.). We got the same sensitive loving care from Dr. Jochems. Thank you, Doctor. I’ll always be grateful.
Dr. Bageant was so kind and emotionally supportive from the beginning of the process until the end. She was respectful and did everything she could to support me during this difficult time. I would recommend her to anyone.
There are not enough words to express our gratitude for the services that you provided for Cree. Her last moments were exactly how we hoped they would be… loving, pain free, quiet, and peaceful in the safe haven of her loving home. When we initially called Lap of Love, the response was immediate and totally focused on Cree. We didn’t have to worry about trying to reach someone or waiting days for a call back.
