Helping Families Honor the Lives Of Those They Love
Lap of Love Veterinarian: Leanne Mathew"Dr. Leanne was so gentle and compassionate with all of us especially our Sweet Paris. She made a difficult situation for us peaceful and bearable. She treated our sweet girl with loving kindness and dignity as a final act of love and mercy. I highly recommend these beautiful souls that are angels of mercy when it comes to saying good-bye to our beloved pets. Thank you Dr. Leanne. You are a very special young lady."Debbie MikanKingwoodOctober 24, 2019Paris's Pet Memorial
Lap of Love Veterinarian: Betsy King"I cannot say enough about how amazing this service is. We are so thankful for Lap of Love and their wonderful, caring staff. We needed a same day appointment to help our baby cross over the Rainbow Bridge and they were able to arrange that. Dr. Betsy came to our house and made the process as easy and peaceful as she could for us and our beloved dog. She was so sweet and so caring and really helped us get through it more than she can imagine. She gave us the amount of time we needed to say goodbye and made our baby as comfortable as possible. She really respected and understood the amount of pain and heartbreak we were going through and she knew just how to make the situation as calm and comforting as it could be. I really don't know how I would have handled it or gotten through it without her. We are beyond grateful that we were able to say goodbye in the comfort of our house and that we had such an amazing person to help us through it. Thank you so much, it meant the world to us!

Lap of Love Veterinarian: Keely Smith"This was the hardest choice I have ever made. My girl, Roxy a 15 year old Great Dane, had collapsed outside and was unable to move. I knew it was rime and Dr. Keely was absolutely the most compassionate person to us. She gave us time to say goodbye and let us decide when to do it."Kimberly FergusonBrooksvilleOctober 24, 2019
Lap of Love Veterinarian: Jennifer Bell"Our 15yr old Aussie/Border Collie mix Jake had occasional seizures throughout his long, happy life. He had a seizure on Tuesday afternoon, this one was different but he seemed to recover ok. On Wednesday morning, after a long night of him pacing and circling, he couldn’t get his legs under him and was having neurological symptoms. I called my regular vet and she was out of office, we were referred to Lap Of Love. I can not express my gratitude for Doctor Jen, she was at our home within a few hours and showed such compassion for my old guy and for me. She confirmed what I already knew, so kind and understanding. Doc Jen helped Jake, the boy who helped me raise our kids and helped me adjust to my empty nest. She is an angel and I am so grateful for her kind heart. Thank you for making a very difficult day a little easier and for taking the time to allow his cat buddy to have a moment as well. And for listening to my stories about his life during our short time together. Thank you for being there for us, not just medically but emotionally as well. You are all doing a wonderful thing for those of who love our pets🐾"Amy RameyCenterburgOctober 24, 2019
Lap of Love Veterinarian: Rachel Klickman"Its never easy losing a loved one. When our 4 legged companions are sick, we as humans have to make a call to do whats best for our furry family. Time came for our Little Winston to make his journey to Heaven.

Dr. Rachel Klickman came to our house. The words cannot describe how amazing she was. She treated our Winston with utmost respect and care. She treated him as if he was her own. She made him comfortable...free of anxiety and stress to cross over to a better place. Thank you Dr. Rachel for your compassion not only for Winston, for US as well.

Rest in Peace our little Boy...We love you!"

Lap of Love Veterinarian: Roger Chase"to DrRoger@lapoflove.com Thank you very much! I’ve been reflecting today on how grateful I am that this service is available and that I was able to help her pass in the least stressful way possible for both of us. It’s going to take me a while to adjust, but I know she doesn’t need to be in pain anymore."West ValleyOctober 24, 2019
Lap of Love Veterinarian: Caroline Kiert"Finding out Sidney had cancer was very hard for our family. She had been with us for 12 years and brought us great joy. She had the most gentle personality and the funniest quirks. Everyone who met Sidney loved her! I was not sure if we should try to prolong her life or let her go peacefully. One thing I did know was that we wanted her home with us either way. Dr. Caroline came to our house the morning after Sidney’s diagnosis and discussed the significance of it. She was very caring and sat on the floor with Sidney and me while we talked. After a heartfelt discussion with Dr. Caroline we decided it was time to let Sidney rest. Because Sidney had a pain patch we were able to spend a few days with her. We loved on her and spoiled her. The day we let Sidney go Dr. Caroline was patient and gentle. She let us have all the time we needed before and after. Having 3 days to spend with Sidney before she left us helped us come to accept the situation and brought us closure. I know Sidney was happy being at home with her people during her last three days. She was calm and felt our love. Dr. Caroline’s warm and compassionate personality helped make the process as manageable as can be. She even shared her own personal experience with us. Lap of Love is a wonderful service! I recommend them to everyone!"Tara BaxleySacramentoOctober 24, 2019
Lap of Love Veterinarian: Casey Choate"I don't think they could have done a better job; from the first phone call until Dr, Casey arrived at the house everyone was helpful, nice, and compassionate. I appreciated how the process was designed be as stress-less as possible for my family. I also appreciate that Dr. Casey told us what she was doing and what to expect, and then let us know that little Milo had passed."Michael HullenderVancouverOctober 23, 2019
Lap of Love Veterinarian: Shannon Skevakis"Shannon was amazing and we could have not asked for a kinder experience given the circumstances. She answered all of the kids (and our) questions with the knowledge and emotional support that we needed. I could not have imagined our girl going through this in a cold sterile veterinary office. I am so glad she was able to be in her happy place, in our home being comforted by those she loved in her final moments."Kristy & John QuinnLedgewoodOctober 23, 2019Bailey's Pet Memorial
Lap of Love Veterinarian: Ashleigh Rhoades"From the moment I called them every person I spoke to was kind and compassionate as they helped me make the decision to let my dog of 15 years have a peaceful final moment. Lucy passed at home before the scheduled appointment and lap of love was kind, and let me know how to handle her before they picked her up. Dr. Rhoades arrived and was a kind, caring and compassionate person on a very difficult morning. At every point she spoke to Lucy in a respectful manner and treated me with the utmost genuine kindness. As hard as it was to lose my friend of 15 years the entire team at lap of love made a difficult time easier. I have recommended their exemplary services to friends an colleagues of mine who are also dealing with aging companions. Thank you for everything."Cristin CollierSeattleOctober 23, 2019

Lap of Love Veterinarian: Christina Hampton"Thank you, Dr. Christina, for your gentle kindness to Nico and us on this very sad day. Nico’s Dad was so dreading the process of releasing our beloved to The Rainbow Bridge. You were incredibly empathetic, sympathetic and extraordinarily professional. Dad commented afterwards how we were able to lift Nico up and let him go with such great dignity and love. A stunning accomplishment for you and I am so thankful! What a blessing to have Nico in my lap, wrapped in his favorite, soft blanket when he departed. This sweet memory will linger with me forever! Lap of Love Veterinarian: Lori Braun"Sending a warm thank you to Dr. Lori. I believe the first thing I said to her upon shaking her hand was, "I don't know how you do what you do." Her reply soothed my heart a bit right away... "It's all about being part of the love." Well said, Dr. Lori. Your efforts show just that, and you could not have been kinder and more supportive. You said all the right things and provided the perfect amount of involvement. Thank you. It was by far the hardest day of my life. I'm thankful that you were there. Fletcher was too. With gratitude, Tara"YamhillOctober 22, 2019
Lap of Love Veterinarian: Elizabeth Hilton"Lap of Love is a wonderful organization. I would recommend their services to anyone faced with the difficult decision of euthanizing a pet. A good friend who is struggling with serious health issues recently said good-bye to her beloved cat Dakota. Fortunately her burden was lightened through the kind and compassionate care of Dr. Liz Hilton. I can't thank her enough for enabling Dakota to pass peacefully in the comfort of her home beside the woman who loved her for 22 years."Catherine DavidsonCroton on HudsonOctober 22, 2019
