Helping Families Honor the Lives Of Those They Love
Lap of Love Veterinarian: Hannah Moloney"Dr. Hannah is so kind and gentle. It is clear that she understands the love between us and our pets. She did not arrive in a big white Veterinarian truck, she had a nice and modest station wagon and a stretcher. She also sent me a nice note and card afterward, to express her regard, and let me know she is there if I need to talk. Thank you so much, you made this very very hard experience a bit easier."Lori ArndtSnohomishJune 23, 2019Max's Pet Memorial
Lap of Love Veterinarian: Lori Braun"We are so appreciative that we were able to provide this gift to our elderly dog at home. Dr. Lori was so kind and gentle to Grace, as well as our cats, one of which was very curious and in the room during the euthanasia. She immediately put Grace at ease, and I loved the thoughtfulness of bringing her chocolate cake to eat at the end, because "all the rules are off" at that point. Grace received the first sedative while eating that cake, and my last memory of her is her devouring that cake until she literally fell asleep trying to gobble up as much as she could. It was such a sweet image for the dog that valued food above almost everything, and had loved eating for most of her life. Dr. Lori was also very kind to us, knowing that we were experiencing a very difficult time and had made a very difficult decision. She was very reassuring that we had done the right thing, which is exactly what we needed at that time. I think it truly takes a special person to do this job well, and she is amazing. I can't thank Lap of Love enough for making this the best experience it could be for us and our other pets."Karen BlocksomSalemJune 23, 2019Grace's Pet Memorial
Lap of Love Veterinarian: Tina Olivieri"I am so thankful that I decided to go with Lap of Love Hospice care. Dr. Tina made me feel at ease right away and assured me that this was the best thing I could do for my fur baby. After 11 years, my dog Weasley was suffering from a multitude of issues and it was getting difficult to watch him suffer daily. Weasley has been with me through the ups and downs of my life and I wanted to give him the comfort for passing at home with his friends (my cat and boyfriend) and in my arms.
Dr. Tina explained everything to me as she did it and was generally a kind soul through my hard time. She was sympathetic and kind to everyone included and made me feel good about my choice. I’m very glad I was able to meet her and share this experience with someone so passionate."

Lap of Love Veterinarian: Sierra Hedrick"You don't seem to be lacking in testimonials but I'm giving one anyway. After using the same vet for 35 years and many cats when I needed them most they told me they couldn't fit me in and my sweet little boy would have to suffer another day if I wanted to bring him there. They wouldn't come to my home either. They did however give me the phone number for Lap of Love. From the moment some kind soul answered the phone it was as if an angel took over. Her kindness and understanding was amazing. When the doctor showed up she was kind and gentle and very compassionate with my cat Judo. I was able to hold him the entire time. That gave me peace. He did and imprint of his paw in clay and quietly went on her way. Lap of Love was nothing short of a blessing for me. My beautiful little boy was treated with dignity and grace. For that I am truly grateful. Thank you so much."Lisa MihalyWest HomesteadJune 23, 2019
Lap of Love Veterinarian: Elizabeth Gill"Dr. Elizabeth and Lap of Love made a very difficult time as comfortable as I think it could have been. Our precious Sonny had been with us for over 17 years and had been suffering for more than 15 months. When we finally decided that “it was time “ we contacted Lap of Love based on the recommendation of a former neighbor. From the first phone call the office staff and Dr. Elizabeth were gracious, kind and compassionate! We received Sonny’s cremains in a very nice cherry wood urn. We received cards from our longtime Vet practice, Lap of Love and the Pet Crematory Service. All of these are greatly appreciated but the personal email from Dr. Elizabeth perhaps meant the most! We miss Sonny very much but cannot thank all of you enough for everything you did for us! Thanks again and God bless you!"Jim CrandallWinter ParkJune 23, 2019
Lap of Love Veterinarian: Jessica Sharpe"I am so grateful that Lap of Love was there for me and my dog Bruiser during such a difficult time. The ladies I spoke with on the phone were very kind and caring and Dr. Jessica was wonderful. Within just a few moments of meeting her, I knew my boy was in good hands. She answered all of our questions and let us have as much time as we needed to say goodbye. She was extremely compassionate, gentle, and respectful. We got Bruiser comfortable on a favorite blanket, pet him, and told him how much we loved him as he drifted off into a peaceful sleep. Although losing him was the most painful thing I've ever experienced, Lap of Love made it easier and provided an amazing sense of comfort and peace. It was a beautiful way to say goodbye to my best friend of 11 years and I cannot thank Dr. Jessica and everyone at Lap of Love enough."Dana LeetTampaJune 22, 2019
Lap of Love Veterinarian: Tina Olivieri"My husband and I are so grateful we chose Lap of Love to help us say good bye to our Dutch. Dr. Tina came to our home and sat with Dutch and made him feel so comfortable and at ease. She was so loving and caring to all of us and explained each step to us which truly helped in the process. On that difficult day she gave us comfort and compassion and we will be forever thankful!!!"Cara BennettWOODLAND HILLSJune 22, 2019

Lap of Love Veterinarian: Roger Chase"Dr. Roger was on time and was very kind. He was attentive and told us each step. At the same time, he respected our space and let our family grieve together. He accommodated our request to perform the procedure outside in our yard. Our baby was able to pass away peacefully and unafraid."Andrea KaplanHolladayJune 22, 2019Sheldon's Pet Memorial
Lap of Love Veterinarian: Brad Bates"June 19th 2018 was an extremely difficult day for our family because we had to put down our 14 year old beagle-"Bogey." He was our 4th child. He truly was one of our family. He had a wonderful life and made all of our lives wonderful in return. We can't thank Lap of Love enough for all its compassionate, and professional service. Because of your service our whole family was able to be with Bogey, in our home, as he passed to his life without bladder cancer, without dry eyes or hip dysplasia.
Thank you for helping us honor our beautiful Bogey with a painless passing.
A year later, Lap of Love has connected with us again to memorialize Bogey with a beautiful poem. We'll never forget him and we'll never forget your amazing service and compassion."

Lap of Love Veterinarian: Kristine Campanelli"Lap of Love and Dr. Kristine were a God send. Jasper couldn't walk and we knew the end had come. The thought of dragging him into a vet's office and waiting there (with him being very uncomfortable) was a horrible thought. Dr. Kristine came to our house where he was able to stay in his own bed, with my daughter and I present and petting him the whole time. She gave him a sedative and then administered the euthanasia drug. He just drifted peacefully to sleep. It's still heartbreaking but we really feel he was much more comfortable physically and mentally by doing this in his home and in his own bed. Not that cost was a factor for our gentle giant but we found Lap of Love's price very reasonable and well worth every penny."Thomas BradyCentereachJune 22, 2019
Lap of Love Veterinarian: Kristine Campanelli"Lap of Love and Dr. Kristine made getting through this sad moment a lot more comforting, and less stressful..I highly recommend Lap of Love."Gloria BSeafordJune 22, 2019
Lap of Love Veterinarian: Rachel Klickman"Dr. Rachel was so kind and caring. This was our first experience with home euthanasia and it was so much better than taking her to our vet. Dr. R explained exactly what to expect and did not rush us at all. She made a painful time in our lives more tolerable and we are grateful."Linda BarstowSeverna ParkJune 22, 2019Peanut's Pet Memorial
Lap of Love Veterinarian: George Croskey"We made the hardest decision of our life to lay our 10year old baby to rest. Dr. George was beyond amazing! She was very compassionate and loving to our baby and us. Thank you for taking my baby to the other side!!!"Elizabeth NowellKetteringJune 22, 2019
Lap of Love Veterinarian: Casey Choate"Dr. Choate was so kind and made this very difficult time for us so much better. She explained everything as she was doing it and allowed us the time we needed to be with our cat. Having the option of someone coming to our home instead of having to take our cat to a vet was so comforting. It took additional stress out of the situation. Thank you Dr. Choate, for your compassion and gentle approach. Thank you Lap of Love for being an option for us."Kelly PowerPortlandJune 21, 2019
Lap of Love Veterinarian: Brad Bates"I would highly recommend your services. Our 11.5 year Old English Bulldog, Moka's vet was not able to come to our home to do a private euthanasia until 2 days later and suggested we could contact Lap of Love. I called in the early afternoon and by 5:20 PM that same day Dr. Brad arrived at our home. He evaluated Moka who had been having cluster seizures and never really recovered even once on anti-seizure medication and assured us we were making the right decision. Dr. Brad is not only professional, but kind and compassionate. I would also like to compliment Jennifer who took my phone call initially & set up the appointment with Dr. Brad, and followed up with a phone call and email. Thanks again!"Deb LandisHatfieldJune 21, 2019
Lap of Love Veterinarian: Scott Nichols"Dr. Scott was right out of a Norman Rockwell painting. He was kind, courteous, empathetic, and understanding. It is never easy to say good bye to a beloved pet, but Dr. Scott made our final moments with our wonderful dog so much easier and so much sweeter to remember than it would have been in a clinical setting. I am deeply appreciative that Dr. Scott was there to help us in our dog's final time of need. Thank you very much to Dr. Scott and all the folks at Lap of Love."Elizabeth WalkerPhoenixJune 21, 2019
Lap of Love Veterinarian: Amanda Page"We were so glad we contacted Lap of Love to help us say goodbye to our sweet Labrador Georgie. IT was such a difficult decision for us but we knew we didn't want to see Georgie suffer even though we would miss her terribly. Dr. Amanda was the perfect person to help us through this. She was so kind, caring and compassionate and put both us and Georgie at ease through the entire process. She treated Georgie like her own dog. She was respectful and aware of every little thing, even wrapping her up so sweetly in a soft blanket to carry her out was a special moment and memory for us. We knew Georgie had gotten the best care and we were grateful for her coming to us on this very emotional morning. We would recommend Dr. Amanda to anyone in the Orange County area needing help! Thank you so so much!

Lap of Love Veterinarian: Will Basinger"Dr. Will is a caring and loving individual. He was there for our family during a difficult time. He spent 2 hours with the family before the decision to euthanize our dear Ginna in our home surrounded by her pack.

I cannot thank him and the team at Lap of Love for helping our family through this. He gave empirical data to us, allowed us to be guided through the process, and made Ginna's transition across the Rainbow Bridge peaceful and loving.

He carefully attended to the entire family's needs, answered fully our questions, and was truly a gentleman and the care giver we needed.

He allowed everyone to grieve the loss of our dear loved one, including our other fur babies. Once we settled, he gently and lovingly prepared our darling for transport for her private cremation.

All I can say is thank you all."

Lap of Love Veterinarian: Cyrus Wegbreit"After 16.5 years it was best to say goodbye to my best friend Bartelby. The toughest part was making the call to Lap of Love. Dr. Cyrus came into our home, Bartelby was comfortable on my lap when we said our final goodbyes. Dr. Cyrus was kind, respectful, and very professional. I will recommend Dr. Cyrus and the service of Lap of Love to any pet owner.

We decided to have Bartleby privately cremated. He was back into our home the very next day!

Amazing service all the way around and worth every penny and tear.

Thank you,
The Beckers"

Lap of Love Veterinarian: Tina Olivieri"Dr. Tina Olivieri was an angel. One of the kindest & most compassionate people I have ever met. She explained the end of life process to the whole family present with our sweet dog, Lucky, that morning. She treated Lucky with dignity & respect. We are so very grateful to her, for helping us say goodbye to a most loved member of the family."KATHLEEN HARTLos AngelesJune 21, 2019
Lap of Love Veterinarian: Brad Bates"We were so fortunate to have Dr. Brad Bates care for our 12 + yr old yellow lab, Jamie in his last weeks. We chose to have Dr. Brad make a home evaluation visit as we could no longer get our 90 lb love in our car. While Lap of Love makes it clear they do not do diagnostic testing, our dog's issues were readily apparent to the professional eye and physical exam by Dr. Brad. Since our dog still had quality to his life, we moved forward with a new med and a change in frequency of another. At the time, what was most soothing was the education we received about what to look for as our Jamie declined. We were provided an estimate of 1 - 6 months but noted a severe increase in symptoms and behavioral changes after about a month. We knew we needed to schedule a final appointment and Dr. Brad agreed through text messaging and photos sent of Jamie. The following day, Jamie had a very peaceful exit from this life through the gentle administration of medications. While it was/is devastating to lose him, it was time. We felt greatly supported by Dr. Brad and even the phone staff. Highly recommend."Kate JohnsonElkins ParkJune 21, 2019
Lap of Love Veterinarian: Jessica McAlpin"Dr. Jessica was amazing. She came in my open front door with tears in her eyes for our suffering. She assisted us with this transition that I would have thought impossible to get through. Her obvious love of animals and assisting with this final act of LOVE is a blessing to all pet owners who must walk this path with their loved ones. I am grateful that Dr. Jessica and Lap of Love is out there for all of us!"Terri DerkumNeptune BeachJune 21, 2019Johnny's Pet Memorial
Lap of Love Veterinarian: Jessica Spitzer"It's been 2 weeks since Dr. Spitzer came to our house to help us say goodbye to our beloved English Bulldog, Dozer. We're still broken hearted and miss him everyday, but we absolutely could not have made it through this without her help. She is kind and thoughtful, and continues to follow-up. She validated what we already knew and that helped tremendously. I urge anyone who has to make this very hard decision to reach out to Lap of Love and if possible, Dr. Jessica Spitzer. It's the best money we ever spent on ourselves."Kelley CozzolinoCamarilloJune 21, 2019
Lap of Love Veterinarian: Keri Morgan"This is too soon, but I want to thank Dr. Morgan, Lap of Love and the entire staff for making the loss of my pup Hank easier. I am still so sad, this is the third time I have tried to write this and I am uncertain if my other ones reached the website. They made the entire process less painful. From everyone on the phone, especially Lisa who patiently waited for my crying and sobs to stop to get through setting up the appointment. It seems that appointment is not the correct term because I felt I was just scheduling the death of my buddy of 10 years. They understood and really made me feel at ease as much as they could.. Dr. Morgan was wonderful when she came to my home. I have heard from others that vets have underestimated the medication needed for large dogs. My Hank was close to 200 pounds and he passed peacefully. Everyone was so wonderful, bless you all for your kindness and love."Judy SteeleEDWARDSVILLEJune 21, 2019
