Lap of Love Veterinarian: Christina Howard"Dr. Christina came to our home September 21, 2018 when it was time to let our sweet Libby go. Libby was with us for 14 years and the sweetest puppy ever. Dr. Christina was amazing. The entire process was so calm and peaceful. And fast. This past Saturday was the year anniversary. We scattered some of her ashes at Marymoore and some at Devil's Elbow. And first thing Saturday morning I received an email from Dr. Christina with a touching note. Thank you again for everything. Carlee"Carlee AlariRentonSeptember 24, 2019
Lap of Love Veterinarian: Jessica Wilbourne"We could not imagine putting our dog down in any other way. Dr. Jessica in the bucks county region of Pennsylvania showed such compassion . It’s as if she knew our family and our dog personally. I have no higher recommendation to give her. I too am a physician."Carrie OgorekOrelandSeptember 24, 2019Cassie's Pet Memorial
Lap of Love Veterinarian: Kara Fuchs"Dr. Kara was absolutely amazing. I am so grateful that she was available on such short notice to come help with Brock's passing. Brock has never been a fan of strangers, but Dr. Kara has such a gentle presence that he wasn't upset. The last thing I wanted to do on Brock's final day was to force him into an uncomfortable, at best, car ride that he couldn't even enjoy. Lap of Love let me focus on Brock's best interests right until the very end. Thank you <3"Mandi StudlerBrooklyn ParkSeptember 24, 2019Brock's Pet Memorial
Lap of Love Veterinarian: Kayla Stomack"It's been 2 weeks since we said good-bye to our sweet Bailee Sky. She was a beautiful 10+ year old Merle Great Dane. It was an incredibly difficult decision to make, but it was the right decision for her. Not so much for us.
Our veterinarian suggested Lap of Love to me, as she knew how difficult it was for Bailee to get around, get in/out of a vehicle, etc. Ultimately, we also didn't want her "last road trip" to be going to the vet.
I still cry because I miss her, my kids still cry, even our granddaughters who didn't really pay much attention to her asked about her the other night when they came over for a sleepover. More tears.
I can't speak highly enough of the care & compassion that all of us received from Lap of Love. From Sara who answered the phone, answered all my questions, sent encouragement, to Dr. Kayla who was amazing, so compassionate, and even Faithful Companion was so caring and compassionate as well.
I still find myself telling Bailee that I'll be right back when I have to leave the house, only to remember that she's not with us. When it storms, (she hated storms), I still tell her that she doesn't have to be afraid anymore.
Thank you so much for your compassion in our sorrow, for the cards that you sent, and just for caring about each family member that loves their fur babies."

Lap of Love Veterinarian: Tiffany Matheson"Dr. Tiffany was amazing. She was so compassionate and answered all of our questions. She made sure our boy was comfortable and we knew he was in good hands with her during the entire process. She allowed us extra time to say our goodbyes and to let us bring out our other pups to say goodbye. During such a hard time for my family, Dr. Tiffany was so comforting for both us and Beau. I am forever grateful that we had Dr. Tiffany by our side through this time."Michelle HolsingerWEST PALM BEACHSeptember 24, 2019

Lap of Love Veterinarian: Elyse Persico"Making the decision to put my fur baby to rest was one of life's most difficult decisions, but looking into their eyes lets you know they are ready even when we are not. Choosing Lap of Love was the easiest decision after speaking with their rep. I knew I had made the best choice. Doctor Elyse Persico made the difficult experience a calming experience for both myself and my pet. She explained each step and let us take the time needed to say our final good bye. Having the euthanasia done in my home allowed my baby to be calm, comfortable and at peace.
Doctor Elyse, I can't thank you enough for the profession that have a chosen and your compassion. You are a true Angel.

Sincerely,
Andrea, Donnie & Stormy"

Lap of Love Veterinarian: Elyse Persico"When we determined that it was time for our beloved Roxy to get her wings, I was encouraged to call Lap of Love. They were so compassionate on the phone with me. Dr. Elyse came at the scheduled time. With my best friends head in my lap, she took her life gently and peacefully. I am so grateful to Lap of Love for giving my sweet girl the best end of life that she deserved. Thank you Dr Elyse for your compassion, your kindness and your love for my much loved friend."Trish LockwoodChesapeakeSeptember 24, 2019
Lap of Love Veterinarian: Amy Parrish"As pet parents, making the ultimate decision regarding our furry loved ones is the most difficult choice we make. And if your furry friend is anything like our Guinness, going to the vet was always a terrifying experience. We loved our vet, but unfortunately, Guinness was not the biggest fan. The last memory we wanted for Guinn was a trip to the vet's office. Friends had used Lap of Love for their dog, and they HIGHLY suggested we do too. When all was said and done, it was the single best decision we could have made for Guinness, when it came to bringing him peace. Dr Amy was so patient and caring. She let us dictate the pace of things, and explained everything she was doing along the way. When we were ready, she made certain that Guinness was comfortable. We were able to hold him, and be with him, the entire time. Knowing that his last memory would be us, holding him while he was in one of his favorite places (the back yard), that was priceless to us. We could not have given him that without Dr. Amy. We are so very grateful and thankful for Dr. Amy's care and support during this difficult time. She followed up in the days after to make sure we were OK, and offered us a caring ear and heart, if we ever needed someone to just listen. We could not be happier or more appreciative for the help and support that Dr. Amy has given us. Pet parents, this is the best decision and gift you can give to your furry loved ones, when you have to make that very difficult decision."Alex VillarealFleetwoodSeptember 24, 2019

Lap of Love Veterinarian: Jennifer Walters"Doctor Jennifer was so gracious and kind! Her goodness is so apparent as she helps you through this process. It is such a sad moment, but the gentle way in which Doctor Jennifer worked with my precious Betsy and myself was and is so important. These are the last moments on earth for our sweet babies. They deserve to go in peace and comfort. So, thank you, Doctor Jennifer for supporting Betsy and myself as Betsy found her was to Rainbow Bridge! You are truly a blessing!"Jill TrexlerConcordSeptember 23, 2019Betsy's Pet Memorial
Lap of Love Veterinarian: Heather Manfredi"Dear Dr Heather,
Thank you for being with my wife, daughter, and Sable during such a difficult time for us. Thank you for waiting for me so I could say a proper goodbye to Sable.
We loved her. You were amazing and obviously have a calling that is being fulfilled. I’m not religious, so not exactly sure how to put it, but you are truly doing Gods work.

Kind Regards,
Matt"

Lap of Love Veterinarian: Mary Kovach"I have to say that having this service is such a blessing. Creed was able to be at home with all of the people and his fur baby brothers that loved him. I have had to put my last GSD down at the vet's office, not that the staffing did anything wrong, but the experience for Greda was so upsetting for her. Creed, it was so peaceful for him, which is what mattered. Also Dr. Mary gave all of us, (even Moose, Creed's chocolate lab fur brother and Max, his cat fur brother) as much time as we needed during the whole process. Dr. Mary was so very kind and understanding. All of us are so very blessed that Dr. Mary was there to help us all take these steps. I can never thank you all enough. Even the gentleman that I spoke to Friday night to setup the appointment, was so kind and understanding. Thank you Laps Of Love for all that you do, God Bless you, Marshella"marshella rominePlainfieldSeptember 23, 2019

Lap of Love Veterinarian: Lorry Jolitz"It’s so very hard to have to say goodbye to a pet that you’ve loved as part of your family, and Dr. Lorry was so kind and supportive through the entire process. We cannot thank her enough for the emotional support she provided while we said our goodbyes. She was a true blessing for our family."Valorie HortaEastvaleSeptember 23, 2019
Lap of Love Veterinarian: Christina Scudder"Saying goodbye to our sweet Belle Sisssy Malibu on Saturday, September 21st was the hardest thing of all. Belle was a Texan born Pembrook Welsh Corgi and moved to Missouri to live with us . She was sweet, energetic, and a bossy young lady, especially to her younger brother Zeus (Newfoundland). Belle loved taking walks, eating treats, catching popcorn we dropped and chasing squirrels, rabbits, school buses and UPS trucks. In the last 8 months Belle started experiencing loss of coordination in her hind limbs (Degenerative Myelopathy) causing her to wobble when walking and dragging her hind legs. We had to carry her outside and she was not fond of being picked up. Belle was no longer able to climb stairs, take walks, or chase buses and UPS trucks. She was only interested in sleeping. The only time she barked was when her brother Zeus came near her room as he was notorious for stealing her bones and eating her food. Her last day on this earth was spent outside, eating special treats from Bently's Pet store with friends, and cuddling with us. Many tears shed by all of us, but we know she was ready to cross the rainbow bridge. She has been apart of our family for 15 years and will forever be in our hearts. We miss you Belle Malibu!!!"Amy ShaikunWILDWOODSeptember 23, 2019
Lap of Love Veterinarian: Rachel Burns"Dr. Rachel was incredibly compassionate with both Xavier and myself. I could tell how much she cared about him and she did everything to make sure he was comfortable and happy. I had an initial appointment where she made some recommendations for me to try to keep Xavier comfortable during his illness, and when euthanasia became necessary, she was incredibly kind and patient. She explained everything and made sure I had plenty of time to make Xavier comfortable and loved. It was of course a very sad, difficult experience, but it was a thousand time better to have it done at home than in a strange and stressful environment. Thank you Dr. Rachel!"Kimberly AdamskiNew BritainSeptember 23, 2019Xavier's Pet Memorial
Lap of Love Veterinarian: Keri Morgan"Dr. Morgan was wonderful. I was unsure about including my 9 year old child in the process but they encouraged me with education material and support and it really helped him to be there to say goodbye. The process was peaceful and beautiful, though heartbreaking. The support provided ty the lap of love team was invaluable. I can't imagine going through this difficult process any other way."MOLLY Caldwell-McMillanKIRKWOODSeptember 23, 2019
Lap of Love Veterinarian: Jessica Bollinger"We were blessed to have Miss Miley with us for 12 wonderful years. She is a loving carefree dog that brings love and happiness into our family. It never matters if you are a familiar face or a new friend she will always greet you with a wagging tail, a lick to your hand and that familiar lab smile. Miley, I will always have a place for you in my heart and you will be part of my life forever. Thank you for being such a great big sister to Gibbs (our Golden Retriever), He really misses you, but is getting better everyday and to Lauren and Lindsey your human sisters. Thank you you all the Love and Joy you give us and we will never forget you. Love Doug, Kelly, Lauren, Lindsey and Gibbs."Doug LandeGOLDEN VALLEYSeptember 23, 2019

Lap of Love Veterinarian: Abigail Shearin, VMD, PhD"XuXu was able to depart in her own home without stress, all thanks to Dr. Abigail Shearin. Dr. Abby was wonderful. When she first arrived, she took the time to ask questions and assess XuXu's situation. Dr. Abby validated our decision to let our baby go. This was a great comfort, especially knowing she wasn't just saying the words to make us feel better. It was clear she was evaluating what was best for XuXu. Dr. Abby then walked us through the euthanasia process. The experience, while painful, went as well as we ever could've hoped for. We're forever grateful to Dr. Abby and other vets who take on this difficult job with professionalism, empathy, and kindness."Juli RoseArlingtonSeptember 22, 2019
