Lap of Love Veterinarian: Tiffany Matheson"I had the pleasure of working with Dr. Tiffany Matheson in the past and we are so thankful she was there when we had to let our beautiful Nemo go. It was so much easier for him just being at home and not having the additional stress of having to go somewhere else. She made the process so peaceful with her kindness and compassion. Lap of Love Veterinarian: Tina Olivieri"This was a hard decision for me as my baby Lola was still eating and wagging her tail. Dr. Tina was extremely comforting and sympathetic and helped me in feeling that this was the best thing for her. Dr. Tina was so gentle and kind and honestly made the process loving and caring and beautiful. Something I didn't think possible considering the circumstances. I was blessed to have my baby Lola for almost 11 years. She was an amazing dog and companion and she will always be missed. Thank you for what you do! If ever I am in need again; I will not consider any other process."Paulette La PorteSylmarSeptember 18, 2019
Lap of Love Veterinarian: Dana Lewis"We would like to thank Dr Dana Lewis and Lap of Love for the compassionate care they provided to our family. I am a veterinarian but when it came time to say goodbye to our 17 year old companion, Bucky, I contacted Lap of Love. Dr Dana Lewis was kind, professional, compassionate, and allowed me to be there for Bucky as his Mom and his friend, not as a veterinarian. We were able to say goodbye in the privacy and comfort of our home. Bucky was surrounded by love, as well as his favorite treats, toys and people. Dr Lewis gave us a gift beyond measure and we will always be grateful for her expertise and kindness at this difficult time."CarySeptember 18, 2019
Lap of Love Veterinarian: Carling Sitterley"As I greeted Dr. Carling in our driveway, before she even came into our house, she hugged me. She was so gentle and unhurried and warm throughout her entire visit. She explained what might happen at each step.
Although it was a very difficult time, Dr. Carling’s sympathetic and compassionate spirit helped us feel we were doing the right thing.
There are no words to express the gratitude we feel towards her and Lap of Love."

Lap of Love Veterinarian: Tina Olivieri"Even though you know on the day you get a puppy or kitten that there will be a day when you will have to say good bye. It is never easy or pleasant but I must say that the recent loss of our dear dog was made as lovely, yes, I used that word, as possible by the professionalism, sensitivity and demeanor of Dr. Olivieri. There was comforting evidence that everything had been thought through in advance making all parts of the process as calm and trauma-free as possible. She is kind, professional and knowledgable. I am happy that she helped us through that difficult day.

I would and will recommend her to anyone I know.
Sincerely,
Janet Albaugh"

Lap of Love Veterinarian: Elizabeth Merchant"Dr. Elizabeth and lap of love have gave my family and I so much support and love during one of the most difficult times ever. When we were told Copper had cancer that metastasized to his lungs we were devastated. We were told he most likely had a month or so to live. Copper has always been so stoic and brave he never let on that he was in pain, he just was so selfless. But we knew we needed to make this decision to prevent his future suffering. After calling Lap of Love and getting so much support and advice I knew they were exactly who I wanted to help us. Being able to lay him to rest in the comfort of his home surrounded by his loved one was exactly what we wanted for him. Dr. Elizabeth was so gentle, kind and compassionate to our boy and us making the hardest day of our lives to date more bearable. We are forever grateful for her and all the staff at Lap of Love."Stacey CosseySt. PeteSeptember 18, 2019Copper's Pet Memorial
Lap of Love Veterinarian: Toby Goldman"Dr Toby arrived at my house full of compassion. Considering the circumstances, he managed to make me laugh for a brief moment. He was caring, considerate and I could tell he has a tremendous love for animals. I couldn't have asked for a better DVM to lay my precious Speedy to rest than Dr Toby. He is the type of doctor anyone would be lucky to have as their regular pet physician. Thank you so much, Dr Toby."Daniel SmithLAS VEGASSeptember 18, 2019Speedy Gonzalez Aka Speedy G Aka Speedofolous (ofolous For Short)'s Pet Memorial
Lap of Love Veterinarian: Annie Dion-Byrd"Dr. Annie was amazing. I cannot even tell you how much she did for us. It was all about Boomer. All the dignity and respect and none of the clinical. We knew he was being taken care of. The way she explained things in the immediate relief that Boomer felt was very apparent."Rebecca FrazzittaWinter ParkSeptember 18, 2019Boomer's Pet Memorial

Lap of Love Veterinarian: Sarah Tangeman"I never knew a service like this existed. We found out our dog had cancer and was terminal. The animal clinic suggested Lap of Love. Simba was such a sweet, kind and special soul. We didn't want to say goodbye. Sarah Tangeman was beyond kind and sweet. She displayed true empathy, compassion & caring. She listened to us tell our stories about Simba. She let us love on him. She explained the entire process & made what has been an incredibly hard day - bearable. My sincerest heartfelt gratitude for Lap of Love and Sarah for the service you provide and allowing us the honor of having Simba die with us around him, surrounded by love."Trina PecinaAzleSeptember 18, 2019
Lap of Love Veterinarian: Kara Fuchs"Words cannot describe how phenomenal Dr. Fuchs is. She could not have been more gracious and kind while helping in a situation that seemed impossible. She was very personable, took things at an appropriate pace and did all that she could to make things as easy as possible. She also took the time to answer any and all questions and it is clear that she is extremely knowledgeable. You truly can tell she does this job because animals mean so much to her. We need more positive rays of sunshine like Dr. Fuchs in this world. You and your pet would be very lucky to work with Dr. Fuchs."Gabrielle LochMaple GroveSeptember 18, 2019
Lap of Love Veterinarian: Jessica Wilbourne"Our cat was diagnosed with mast cell carcinoma and his health deteriorated quickly. We made the difficult decision to euthanize since we could not watch him suffer any longer. He had stopped eating and grooming. Our cat never liked going to the vet. From the carrier to the office, he would fuss. The last thing we wanted to do was cause undue stress during his last hours and in a sterile, unfamiliar environment. We wanted him to be in his bed, in his home. Our daughter was aware of Laps of Love and we contacted on a Sunday. They made an appointment for Monday, which was unexpected but much appreciated. I cannot praise Dr, Jessica enough. She was empathetic, sympathetic, understanding, patient and very professional. She was very gentle. I, for one, was very apprehensive to stay in the room since I didn't want that image to be my lasting memory. But I will say here that it was a very peaceful passing. I am glad I stayed. I highly recommend Laps of Love if it ever comes time for you to make this very difficult decision."John DANDREABLUE BELLSeptember 18, 2019
Lap of Love Veterinarian: Christina Scudder"On August 30, 2019, our baby Alex crossed the Rainbow Bridge. We will miss him terribly. Alex was our social kitty. He was not afraid of anything. He would walk right up to strangers, look up, and meow right at them. He was going to be the center of attention, no matter what. Lap of Love made this whole experience better for everyone involved. Being able to pass peacefully at home, surrounded by your family and in the arms of your best friend, made it easier for Alex and all of us. They have such a deep understanding of pets and their owners. This is the last thing you will ever do for your baby. Let Lap of Love make it less stressful for everyone."Elaine ColeMaryland HeightsSeptember 17, 2019
Lap of Love Veterinarian: Nellie Wilbers"Doctor Nellie was truly the best. I've had several dogs in the past that either passed in their sleep or by accident. I've never had to have a dog put to sleep.

That weighed heavily on my mind knowing that Bella, while safe and sound, was deteriorating day by day. I knew a decision needed to be made and found Lap of Love during my research.

Everyone at Lap of Love was compassionate and understood this decision even when learning that Bella had two gay dads, no issue whatsoever. There was absolutely no pressure. In fact, we rescheduled once when it appeared that Bella was improving. On the last day when she took a turn for the worst, we were able to reschedule for the next morning.

That's when Doctor Nellie called about 8:30a on Friday morning and said she was about a half hour out and would be at our house at 9a. She was and immediately met Bella with snuggles and kisses as she laid on her bed. Told us how the procedure would go and answered any questions we had. There was never any pressure, she encouraged us to give Bella lots of love as she sniffed this new person out and go at our own pace.

For me, in my research, that was important in making the biggest decision for Bella's and my own life, I wanted to be right. Lap of Love and Doctor Nellie was the absolute right choice. She was so compassionate before, during and after the procedure, she truly understands what is going on in your mind as you say goodbye to your friend. At the end of the procedure, Doctor Nellie gave us both hugs and followed up with an email over the weekend asking how we were doing.

Thank you for making this process easier and we love you Doctor Nellie!"

Lap of Love Veterinarian: Elyse Persico"The thought of losing Murf was crushing me. I was lost, but I knew he was declining. From the first phone call to the arrival of Dr. Elyse Periso words cannot describe the gentle care and compassion our family received. When Dr. Elyse arrived at our home that same genuine care and compassion was given to our boy, he was comfortable. She got to know Murf a little bit and provided sound advice knowing that this was such a difficult decision to make. I was comforted by the fact that Murf was comfortable and was able to peacefully go to sleep in his favorite spot in the living room. Our handsome old gentlemen is at peace now, and his memory will live forever in our hearts. Thank you Lap of Love and Dr. Elyse for what you do! You make such a difference during difficult times for our pets and the families ."Kurt DavisChesapeakeSeptember 17, 2019
