Helping Families Honor the Lives Of Those They Love
Lap of Love Veterinarian: Sally Lynch"Dr.Sally Lynch was phenomenal and made a very emotional experience much easier for my Jady and for our family! She was tender and sweet, understanding and definitely made this very sad experience much easier for all of us, especially our beloved Jady.
And to help out with this situation even more, she had made for our family a plaque of our Jady’s paw 🐾 prints and also left a small booklet of poems , etc; for our family to have and read through with Jadys name on it with her date of her passing. Thank you so very much Dr. Sally Lynch for being the veterarian who we were all so blessed with on 9/9/2019."

Lap of Love Veterinarian: Kimberly Carper"Dr. Carper's service was professional, courteous and kind. She allowed me the space to connect with Winnie during her last moments as she worked in the "background". I'm grateful for Dr. Carper's last-minute availability and I admire the strength it must take to provide this type of intensive service on a regular basis.

Thank You Dr. Carper."

Lap of Love Veterinarian: Heather Manfredi"A month ago today we had to make the difficult decision for our dear Chico. I called Lap of Love and told them he was in pain and had a really bad night after being sick for some time. They were not able to come until the following day. Dr. Heather heard about Chico and not wanting him to suffer any further came to us late on a Saturday. She showed so much compassion for Chico and myself, giving me all the time I needed with him. It was a very peaceful and painless process for him as he crossed over the rainbow bridge. She made his paw print and gave us a lock of his hair. It was a very nice touch. I would highly recommend Lap of Love and Dr. Heather, they were exactly what my family needed at a very difficult time."Debra BerrettaEast SetauketSeptember 10, 2019
Lap of Love Veterinarian: Lauren Cassady"Gentleness, kindness, honor, time. We knew our Gizmo was sick, but he had a very sudden and severe downturn. We are so grateful that Dr. Lauren Cassady was able to come quickly so he would not suffer any more. Her presence was a gift to all of us. It was enough that she was incredibly kind, but her expertise was reassuring as well. We were guided through each step and were able to take as much time as we needed to say goodbye. It meant everything that we didn't have to move Gizmo, as he was in pain. He just went to sleep in his own bed, in his own home, surrounded by our love and the light of Dr. Lauren. We can honestly say, we have never met someone as kind as Lauren Cassady. We will always be grateful for what she gave our family."Jack and Jill BarnesDecaturSeptember 10, 2019
Lap of Love Veterinarian: Jordan Taheri"Thank you Dr. Jordan for your kindness and patience. I so appreciated your thought fullness in allowing me the opportunity to create a space for Vinnie to transition in such a peaceful and serene way. Looking out to the lake, his widow on the world, listening to my voice as I held him....was as perfect as it gets. It will be a moment that I treasure..."Vicky Owles GoodinMiramarSeptember 10, 2019Vinnie Owles-goodin's Pet Memorial

Lap of Love Veterinarian: Jennifer Walters""Dr. Walters was very professional, thoughtful and compassionate. Having had to go through this with Lola's fur brothers years prior, I can't say enough about the service Lap of Love offers and the wonderful doctors such as Dr. Walters they provide. This experience, although difficult, will remain a beautiful memory we will all cherish forever. Thank you Dr. Walters for helping us help our girl in such a dignified and loving way. We take comfort in knowing we did the right thing and gave Lola the very best life she could have ever wanted and thank you Lap of Love for making it possible for Dr. Walters to provide such loving and compassionate care to all of us pet lovers and the pets we adore.""Greg SarverCharlotteSeptember 9, 2019
Lap of Love Veterinarian: Kristine Campanelli"Unfortunately after 15 1/2 wonderful years, I had to send my baby girl over the rainbow. She never liked going to the vet and I didnt want her last moments to be somewhere where she hated. I did some research and came across lap of love.. what better way to say goodbye to your pet while in the comfort of your own home and your dog is comfortable as well.

Dr. Kristine arrived on time.. very soft spoken and explained everything.. very kind and gentle and has a heart of gold.. we wouldnt have chosen any other way to send our baby over the rainbow.

Thank you so much again!"

Lap of Love Veterinarian: Stacy Blake"Dr. Stacy was wonderful! She was very comforting and never once appeared as though she was on any kind of time constraint. I'm so happy she was there to make sure Oreo passed on in the most comfortable and best way possible. Considering my sweet Oreo was deaf and blind, having her pass in a familiar environment was very important to me. Thank you, Dr. Stacy, for helping us during this difficult time. May you and yours be blessed with much love and joy!"Melanie MarshOrlandoSeptember 9, 2019Oreo's Pet Memorial
Lap of Love Veterinarian: Kim Bruce"Hi,
I just wanted you to know that Dr. Kim was so wonderful! This was my first time ever having to decide to let my dog go and it was the hardest thing I have ever had to do. I called at least 10 times to schedule the appointment and each time I could not speak and had to call back. I was hyperventilating and could not stop crying. I had my dear sweet Frodo for 12 years and he was my very best friend. For several months he had been suffering with what I thought was Lumbar Stenosis and he was having trouble walking with his back legs dragging and the right one in particular he would hold up very often and hop around. It was not until I took him to a pain clinic that they informed me he actually had bone cancer in that leg. They said it already spread and all we could do was either remove the leg and hope or euthanize... He was still eating and was mentally alert but he was doing strange things... he got upset if I would leave him. He would trash my condo. The last straw - he jumped into the hot shower with me... I felt this was him telling me it was time because he hated the shower... so I do feel this was his way to let me know he was ready. Dr. Kim came and was so sweet to us and Frodo. She made it so much less painful... I helped her carry him out (75 pounds) and I held him as he got the first shot (he smiled when the pain went away and Dr. Kim said he was smiling) and then I held him for the second shot and said goodbye. I still cry thinking about him and this was on July 5th. I just cannot say enough about how having Dr. Kim come to the house was the right thing to do... I'd rather not see him suffer like he was even though it did nearly kill me to make the call. He went peacefully, with no pain... better than most of us can hope for!

Lap of Love Veterinarian: Roger Chase"Hi Dr. Chase, I apologize for taking so long to respond to you. We both wanted to thank you for taking such great care of Skye with kindness and such a gentle demeanor. Skye is in heaven with our other Doberman Cliff, so I’m sure they are having a great time. Yes, we miss him terribly, but it was his time and we both had expected it for some time, It wasn’t a complete shock. We are doing well and our only child dog River is doing well. We are keeping him extra busy. Thank you again for everything. Mike"DraperSeptember 9, 2019
Lap of Love Veterinarian: Kim Bruce"Dr. Kim Bruce was so professional, sincere, and kind. Kelly and I are grateful to have had Togo's passing be guided by such a kind person.

We also want to acknowledge that Dr. Kim has chosen to take on the human emotion that comes with the loss of a pet, and we are grateful that she is willing, even if transiently, to allow space in her own heart for that kind of connection with complete strangers."

Thank you so much for everything you have done for me, my family, and, most of all, Amigo. Lap of Love Veterinarian: Christina Guillory"When the dreaded time had finally arrived, Lap of Love was there for us. From the initial phone call up through the end and even after, the staff and Dr. Guillory were wonderful. We were so grateful for their compassion and respect for our fur baby and understanding of our love for her. We never felt rushed, but knew for us we had to do it quickly before our selfishness continued and we changed our mind. Dr. Guillory first took the time to meet Sassy and talk to her and also evaluate her to be sure we were making the best choice at this time. The process was quick and our baby went very peacefully, which confirmed to us there was no more fight in her and our decision to move forward was the right one for her. As much as it is tearing our hearts out, it was the right choice for us and I would highly recommend Lap of Love and their staff should you ever find yourself facing this situation too."Cathy AnsohnKatySeptember 9, 2019Sassy's Pet Memorial

Dr. Heather was especially empathetic with our daughter, who was having a difficult time saying goodbye to the dog she had known and grown up with since she was six years old. I recommend highly this wonderful service for those who consider their pets a member of the family."Steven LesterMerrickSeptember 8, 2019
Lap of Love Veterinarian: Roger Chase"Dr. Chase,

Thank you for your kind words. It has been difficult and the emptiness of his passing is definitely felt. We know he is in a better place and is no longer suffering so, there is some comfort in those thoughts. I'm sure he has had a great reunion with his buddy Duke who we lost 2 years ago to cancer.

Thanks again for your services and kind words,"
