He constantly checked in with us to ensure we moved at the pace that felt right. He was super sweet to our dog Wally and made sure Wally was comfortable and peaceful. We are so very grateful for Dr. Jeff for allowing us to say goodbye to our fur baby in our home where our Wally was most comfortable. He helped us to make sure Wally did not suffer. Lap of Love Veterinarian: Heather Manfredi"We had our beloved Casey for almost 13 years and she was an important member of our family. After agonizing over the decision , we could no longer allow Casey to suffer. We contacted Lap of Love . From the moment we called they were amazing. Within hours Dr. Heather Manfredi arrived at our home. Dr Manfredi explained the entire process to us and took all the necessary time and was in absolutely no rush. Casey went to sleep on her bed surrounded by her family. The entire process was so peaceful for Casey and Dr Manfredi was amazing !!! She even gave us a clay paw print she made which we will cherish forever. I am so grateful that lap of love offers this end of life service. Dr Manfredi was the kindest vet I have ever met and I will always be grateful for her kindness during this terrible time. Thank you Dr Manfredi 🙏"Trish McCauleyGlen coveAugust 2, 2020

Lap of Love Veterinarian: Amanda Gordon"I'm so thankful for Dr. Amanda, and Lap of Love. When my beloved cat, my best friend's health rapidly declined, due to lymphoma nasal cancer, i was devastated. I knew his time was limited, and the day would soon come, to say goodbye. So he wouldn't have to deal with pain, stress and suffering.

We're so glad we found Dr. Amanda to help guide us through this difficult event.
It was extremely important to us that he pass in the comfort of his own home.

And it was actually on a weekend holiday day, when his health suddenly shifted. We were so afraid we wouldn't find a doctor to come over on such short notice & a holiday weekend!!

Lap of Love answered our call that morning, and Dr. Amanda arrived at our home just a few hours later. We were so relieved!

Dr. Amanda is an amazing person. In addition to being a medical professional, she embodies heart, compassion, empathy, and trust.

She helped us feel immediately at ease, and her treatment was incredibly tender and wise.

As difficult as it is facing these life events, when the time comes for our other furry family members, we'll always call Dr. Amanda, and Lap of Love.

Dr. Amanda, thank you so much with all of our hearts. We appreciate your genuine care. Your guidance facilitated such a smooth transition for our beloved cat. You gave him such compassionate focus, putting his comfort at the forefront.

We'll always remember our sweet boy's passing with such grace, thank you with our full hearts."

Lap of Love Veterinarian: Shannon Cabell"Thank you, Dr Cabell, for helping me in sending my long term companion Figaro on his journey from the present world. You provided the understanding, compassion and true empathy that was so needed to say a peaceful goodbye. I am very grateful to you for being there and easing this difficult task that we, animal owners, have to do for the animals we truly love."Jeri FantaPrinceton JunctionAugust 1, 2020
Lap of Love Veterinarian: Liz Myers"When we were forced to make a decision about our beloved Bunker, Dr. Liz was extremely comforting, and provided Bunker and the family with a warm, comforting environment in which to go through such a difficult time. She explained everything thoroughly, and did things at a pace that was appropriate for our family. She treated our fur baby with kindness and respect through the entire procedure, and worked with our other dog to help him through the grieving process. Given that this was such a difficult and emotional process, Dr. Liz created an environment in which we could process everything in a healthy way, and we could begin to quickly reflect on fond memories. We are so thankful for everything Dr. Liz did."Jen KendtNorth TonawandaAugust 1, 2020
Lap of Love Veterinarian: Kimberly Carper"The day I had to say goodbye to my sweet old pup was one of the worst days of my life. And I am so grateful to Lap of Love and Dr. Kimmie (Dr. Carper) for the way the euthanasia was handled. From my first phone call to schedule (thank you to the gentleman who helped me - I'm so sorry I forgot your name!), to Dr. Kimmie's sympathetic yet calm demeanor. What a sweet soul she has, and I can't thank her enough for everything that day. I was able to say goodbye to him in the comfort of home next to our Christmas tree. And she let me set the pace for how slowly or quickly I wanted to proceed. And I still have the little paw print she made for me. Your team is the best. Thank you a million times over."Shelly McFerrenRound RockAugust 1, 2020
Lap of Love Veterinarian: Jeff Carpenter"I unfortunately needed the services of Lap of Love twice this year for my dogs Frank and Buddy. From the minute I called them they were very sweet and comforting. Having someone come to my house so that I didn't have to ring my dogs to an unfamiliar place and have them be scared meant a lot to me. Dr. Jeff came both times and was wonderful, even though I was crying too much to talk. The process was very peaceful and painless for my dogs, and I got to stay right beside them the entire time which helped me. I also have a pawprint of each dog for my son to have which is quite special for him. If you have to go through this with your pet, know that Lap of Love is very kind during your sadness and gives you one less thing to worry about."Jane DonagheyDorchesterAugust 1, 2020
Lap of Love Veterinarian: Sara Barlowe"I cannot say how much it meant for us to be able to have Preciosa spend her last moments outside in the garden. Sara was great and made it as easy as it could be. I would and will use lap of Love again. It was such a gift for her "boys" to be able to say good-bye to their Mom."Diane PeraltaWest ChesterAugust 1, 2020Preciosa (precious)'s Pet Memorial
Lap of Love Veterinarian: Rachel Burns"My cat was 17..almost 18. She had been diagnosed with cancer almost 3 years ago. Her prognosis wasn’t good and she was certainly not expected to live more than a year. But here we were..3 years later. Within a day or two, she became extremely ill and I knew it was time. Her vet, was not allowing clients in due to Covid. There was no way I was dropping her off to be euthanized. So my vet recommended several at-home pet euthanasia services. After reading up on the website I decided to give Lap of Love a call. The woman on the phone was respectful and very kind. I knew I had made the right choice. When Dr. . Rachel Burns came to my house she was very sincere and empathetic. She walked me through the entire process in detail and allowed me to ask as many questions as I wanted to. She never rushed me and never made me feel uneasy. When the procedure started I completely melted down. Dr. Rachel took over in making sure My cat felt secure and loved. She didn’t go alone, but went in the arm of and pets of Dr. Rachel. When she has passed, she was placed in a lovely basket with a pillow for her head and blanket underneath her and a blanket over her. She looked so peaceful and cute. I got to pet her and kiss her goodbye. It was almost as if she was just sleeping. She was pain free and in the arms of Jesus. I want to thank Lap of Love for what they do, especially during Covid. I can’t thank your company and Dr. Burns enough. I will and have already begun to tell everyone I know about Lap of Love and Dr. Burns. If you have any doubt in your mind wether or not to put your pet down at your local vet, I can assure you that Lap of Love can do a better job."Jill PorteraBristolAugust 1, 2020Reilly's Pet Memorial

Lap of Love Veterinarian: Casandra Huelin"Dr. Cassi was amazing! She offered a compassionate and loving hand when I needed it most. I'm so grateful to have had her in our home to help my sweet girl, B on her journey home. She was patient and kind, and her support was what I needed the most. A decision like this is hard for anyone to make, but hearing her confirm that I was doing the right thing, immediately took all the weight off my shoulders. She took the time to sit on the floor with me as we talked about Bossy, and made sure we did things at out pace, and what was comfortable for Bossy. I know I had only just met her, but saying goodbye was more like saying goodbye to a friend that day. Saying thanks doesn't seem like enough."Samantha ThomsonMagnaAugust 1, 2020Bossy's Pet Memorial

Lap of Love Veterinarian: Charlie Deutsch"Dr. Deutsch made this experience as good as it could possibly be. My cat Einstein hates going to the vet and gets very agitated and violent while he's there. He was able to sit in my lap, relaxed the entire time. I didn't feel rushed or dismissed. Dr. Deutsch was very kind and understanding, doing each step with great care. He cut some of Einstein's fur and made a beautiful resin paw print for us to keep. He was very friendly and conversational, which put me at ease and prevented me from crying the entire time. He treated Einstein very nicely and made sure he wasn't in pain. I really couldn't have asked for a better way to send off my beloved cat. I highly recommend Lap of Love and especially Dr. Deutsch."Elizabeth TalbottBuena ParkJuly 31, 2020Einstein's Pet Memorial

Lap of Love Veterinarian: Will Basinger"Dr. Will comforted me during one of the most stressful and painful times of my life as I, with his professional and gentle assistance, released my precious best friend, Dicky, from his diseased body. I have known Dr. Will’s mother and father, both of whom are top tier vets for years and I made a mental choice to call on Dr. Will when the time came after Dr. Kraizer at C-Vets confirmed lymphoma and started Dicky’s chemo treatment. Although lymphoma is not curable, Dr. Kraizer gave Dicky 9 very good months but as true to the nature of lymphoma, Dicky could not outrun the ravages of the disease. I called Dr. Will for assistance in determining Dicky’s life from a quality of life standpoint. Dr. Will spent time with us and Dicky in my bedroom where Dicky always loved to hang out. He advised that Dicky’s quality of life had deteriorated to the point that there was no turning back and there would be no “good” days left. The decision to let Dicky go was heart wrenching but I loved him too much to make his suffer Just to meet my needs. Dr. Will eased Dicky out of this life and into his next life as Dicky lay on his and my bed, cradled in my arms, and in the company of his other cat friends who had already been in to wish him a happy journey. I have used Lap of Love before and I can honestly say that at that sad and heartbreaking time that will come if you outlive your pet, having Dr. Will by your side will help you get through a very painful experience and you will know that you did the right thing for the pet you loved. There is a heartache in every pet and if you live long enough to see them through their life, you will feel it. It makes it easier to have a truly caring veterinarian put your pet through a peaceful passing in the home environment they shared with you."Rosemary CalhounChapinJuly 31, 2020Dicky's Pet Memorial
Lap of Love Veterinarian: Abra Osorio"It has already been a couple days and I can't hardly bring myself to write about it..... I cannot say enough about how Dr. Abra helped us through this most difficult time. We have had numerous pets...all beloved members of our family...and that final trip to the vet has always been a nightmare, all the way from having to sit in the waiting room to having the experience in a cold, windowless back room, to having to stop at the front desk on the way out. This was our first in home experience and it was like night and day. Our beloved Uncle Billy experienced absolutely no stress which was of utmost importance to us. He got to be in his favorite place in the house, surrounded by familiar things. We cannot thank Dr. Abra enough for her compassion and caring."thomas banteSmyrnaJuly 31, 2020
Lap of Love Veterinarian: Amanda Gordon"Knowing that the day that you need to send a fir baby over the rainbow bridge it's a comfort to do it at home with the care of Lap of Love. This has been the second time of needing them. I highly recommend anyone who wants to do right by your baby. Thank you Amanda.💔"Tricia ShafferVancouverJuly 31, 2020
Lap of Love Veterinarian: Shannon Cabell"Dr.Cabell was so sweet through the whole process. She was so respectful and went at our pace as saying goodbye to our girl was one of the hardest things we’ve ever had to do. I hate that we had to use this service but I’m so grateful it exists because more than anything I wanted our girl to be at home when she went and not take her to a vet where she’d be scared. Thank you so much"Meghan JamesHamiltonJuly 31, 2020Sadie's Pet Memorial
Lap of Love Veterinarian: Scott Nichols"I would like to Thank Dr. Scott - you and your clinic are amazing. Sorry it has taken me 3 months to get this completed but her passing is still really hard for me, but I owe it to Harley Girl to get this done.
