“There is no exercise better for the heart than reaching down and lifting people up.”
Thank you so much for your kind note and for the care you gave Wyatt and our family. We truly appreciated your patience, compassion, and calm presence throughout everything. Given the circumstances, the whole experience could not have gone better from our perspective, and that meant a great deal to both of us. Saying goodbye to Wyatt was incredibly hard, but you helped make it peaceful and full of love, and we will always be grateful for that. Thank you again for your kindness and support.
My family could not have asked for a more peaceful and special experience to say goodbye to our beloved Arthur. Dr. Maura was beyond compassionate as she guided us through such a challenging decision and process. We are beyond grateful for the kindness she showed our family and sweet forever friend. It takes an extremely special human to meet people on some of their most difficult days. She brought light to a dark time, and for that words will never be enough.
Dr. Guinn made this very sad and painful moment for us a little less unbearable. She explained every step and gave us time with our pretty girl before, during and after.
Dr. Bri, We, Freddy, Tasha, Ebony and I, received your sympathy card after you helped Loki find his angel wings. I find no proper way to express how grateful I was and still am for your compassion. Knowing I did right by him doesn't necessarily help when I see the commercial on TV where the little boy is hugging his dog and saying, "I'll be your best friend forever". "Forever" is relative of course, but it didn't last long enough for me. So thank you again for helping me through it. Remembering your grace helps even now when I think of my cat, Loki. Take care.
