Helping Families Honor the Lives Of Those They Love
Lap of Love Veterinarian: Abra Osorio"Dr. Abra made one of the worst days of our lives a little more bearable. She was so gentle and sweet with our Annabelle. Knowing that our girl left this world so peacefully and comfortable in her own home is one thing that we will never be able to repay."Rachel WinskiNashvilleJuly 23, 2020Annabelle "Anni-girl"'s Pet Memorial
Lap of Love Veterinarian: Shannon Cabell"I just wanted to say that during such a horrible time Lap of Love made the process a lot easier to deal with from the initial phone call to the end. Dr Shannon Cabell arrived earlier than scheduled, was extremely sympathetic, explained the entire process and allowed us as much time as we wanted to spend with Diesel before he left us. Having Diesel for 11 years he was part of our family and Lap of Love and Shannon Cabell made the entire process easier to accept!"Gus TowliCream RidgeJuly 23, 2020
Lap of Love Veterinarian: Desiree Thomas"In these days of COVID-19, we were so grateful that Lap Of Love was able to let us part with our cat Sammy, in our home, and with no tension or trauma for him, and us. Dr. Desiree Thomas was prompt for the scheduled appointment, professional and caring with Sammy, and respectful of our feelings. She represented Lap Of Love well, and helped us through a tough transition."John & Dee WhartonBonita SpringsJuly 23, 2020Sammy's Pet Memorial
Lap of Love Veterinarian: Christina Scudder"I don't know where to begin....only to say that Lap of Love and Dr. Chris and Dr. Dawnetta are truly gifts to anyone who has made the difficult decision to help their pet crossover the Rainbow Bridge. In December Dr. Dawnetta helped us with our 14 yr old Sheltie, Riley. And just this last week, Dr. Chris helped us with our Catahoula Leopard, Linus. Each of our circumstances were somewhat unique...Riley who was a very shy rescue and Linus whose other owner has hearing and speech issues (due to a stroke). Dr. Dawnetta took a lot of time making sure that shy Riley was comfortable and not stressed. It was time consuming and she did not rush it. Dr. Chris was so kind and accommodating to help with our communication challenges. She was so kind and caring and made sure that everything was communicated well. She was so wonderful with Linus. (This was all done with the special challenges due to COVID).

These two women are unbelievable! They are gifted, caring, compassionate, and wonderful human beings. I can't imagine things going any better than they did, at one of the most difficult times there is."

Lap of Love Veterinarian: Amy Czarnecki"My husband and I can't say enough about Lap of Love and Dr. Amy. The whole process starting with the Care Coordinator to the appointment was seamless. Dr. Amy's demeanor and compassion made the horrible situation of saying goodbye to our sweet 20 yo Maddie cat the most peaceful experience. She treated her with the utmost respect and care. She was informative and you could tell that she was really interested in Maddie's story. I know that when Maddie left with Dr. Amy that she would continue to be treated in the same manner. It was the perfect send off for our best girl. I highly recommend Lap of Love to all pet parents that want the best for their fur baby."Kimberly AyersIndianapolisJuly 23, 2020Maddie's Pet Memorial
Lap of Love Veterinarian: Annie Dion-Byrd"The compassion and care that Dr. Annie took with Bruce and our family was amazing. We've never experienced anything like it and are truly appreciative. Her guidance through the process was calming, communicative, and caring. She could see the same saddness in his eyes that we saw and helped us to end his pain and move all of us to a better place."Anne WagonerOcoeeJuly 23, 2020Bruce's Pet Memorial

Lap of Love Veterinarian: Amanda Gordon"Dr. Amanda Gordon was a blessing. Unfortunately our sweet Viola's body was just unable to keep up with her youthful mind & spirit after 14 years. Dr. Gordon came out to our house and treated our sweet Viola Lee with the compassion and respect she deserved. This being one of the hardest and sad decisions to be made, Dr. Gordon made not only Viola feel at ease but the entire family. I could not have wished for a better, calming experience in such a painful time. It takes a certain special person to be able to do what Dr. Gordon does and we are extremely thankful for her and the respectful service she provided to our family.
"Fare thee well, fare thee well, I love you more than words can tell, listen to the river sing sweet songs to rock my soul."

Lap of Love Veterinarian: Brad Bates"Dr. Brad,

Help with the passing of my 18yr old beagle. The folks at lap of love were caring, professional and did everything to ensure my beloved pet and I were comfortable. I was particularly concerned about the fact that I was mid-relocation and was concerned about my pet making the transition. I wasn't home when he passed, I was at my new location, however the plans in place that we had made this all while heart-wrenchingly sad, easier on everyone in the family. Also import as I was not home were the memorials they provided to remember him and handling of his ashes. I can't say enough great things. What a wonderful organization !"

Lap of Love Veterinarian: Sara Barlowe"I will, for certain, contact Lap of Love and Dr. Sara Barlowe should we ever need end of life care for a pet again. We had so many medical appointments in the last week of our dog Ripley's life; I just wanted to let her rest in comfort at our home once we found out she would not recover. I wasn't sure if that would be possible with Covid-19 going on, but from the moment I contacted Lap of Love I knew it was the right decision. They were kind and patient - incredibly empathetic. Dr. Barlowe (Sara) contacted us before arriving to go over any questions - we all agreed to wear masks as a precaution. She was kind to us, she was gentle and loving with Ripley, and she gave us the time and respect we needed to grieve. She made a paw-print impression for us to keep (something I didn't know she would do, but am so glad we have). It is a terribly hard thing to do, no matter the circumstance, but I really feel glad for the peaceful last moments afforded us by this service. Thank you for making it more bearable."Hillary MoeningMont ClareJuly 23, 2020
Lap of Love Veterinarian: Leanna Carpenter"Leanna was very kind and caring during such a difficult time. Lap of Love Veterinarian: Sara Barlowe"Words cannot describe how thankful my family and I were for the services and all the support from Dr. Barlowe and the whole team at Lap of Love (Haley, Erin, Chloe, Lilly & Dr. Dobey)! This was truly a very difficult time for us, as everything happened so quickly. You allowed us the opportunity to say our final goodbyes to Jack ("Jug" - Jack Russell/Pug mix) in the comfort of our home, where he was in his element and peaceful with us by his side. We will absolutely be recommending Lap of Love to every dog owner we know!!"Maple GlenJuly 23, 2020
Lap of Love Veterinarian: Rachel Burns"Dr. Burns was just wonderful. From the moment she came in until the time she left, she was nothing but compassionate, loving and kind. Lap of Love Veterinarian: Kim Bruce"Dr. Bruce -
As the 'parents' of a large, aggressive/anxious elderly dog, our concerns of 'what could go wrong' leading up to euthanasia were very real. Your kindness, confidence, and patience in helping us navigate the process of saying goodbye to Dublin along with your genuinely lovely presence will always stick with us. Thank you for being that little sparkle during such a sad and stressful time. Your job cannot be easy, please know how much we appreciate you!

Lap of Love Veterinarian: Jen Gilbert"Licorice’s passing was as gentle as could be. Dr. Jen did a beautiful job. I don’t think I would ever go back to having this done at a Vet’s office. Licorice was where he should have been, in his home, with his brother, Roger. Rest in your much deserved peace, my love. ❤️"Lisa CBuffaloJuly 22, 2020Licorice's Pet Memorial
Lap of Love Veterinarian: Rachel Burns"Putting a family member to rest is never an easy decision especially during a pandemic; however, when stumbling upon Lap of Love I felt more at ease after speaking with an associate. They were very kind and compassionate knowing the decision you are making is one of the hardest decisions you have to make throughout your life.

When Dr. Burns came to our home she took the time to get to know our beloved 13 1/2 year old Pitbull Blaze. She was very compassionate, genuine, and sensitive towards are feelings. She was very respectful and didn’t rush anything she instead took her time to make the last few moments we had with our blaze to be special. The best part was we were able to spend the last few moments at home with our forever cherished Boo Bear. Dr. Burns was very professional and I would highly recommend Lap of Love and Dr. Burns to anyone who is going through a difficult time. She made me feel like I was doing the right thing and helping Blaze from no longer suffering.

Thank you Dr. Burns and Lap of Love. I am forever grateful."

Lap of Love Veterinarian: Heather Manfredi"My husband and I will be forever grateful to Lap of Love and especially to Dr.Heather who provided end of life care to our cat, Calico. The staff were great in helping us over the phone and were kind and supportive. It was a difficult decision to make but it was harder to watch our cat suffer and not enjoy her life. Dr Heather was compassionate and empathetic. She was gentle with our Calico and overall made the process more bearable. Thank-you, Dr Heather ."Maureen HudsonKings ParkJuly 22, 2020
Lap of Love Veterinarian: Carrie Dobey"Dear Dr. Carrie,

Thank you so much for helping me through the difficult and emotional process of saying goodbye to my beloved Paco. The care and compassion that both you and the staff members showed me was appreciated beyond words. It’s odd, but I felt so comfortable in your presence, it was as if we’d been friends for a long time.

Looking back, I have no regrets about my decision. In fact, now that the painful goodbye has been had, I can see his pain and suffering even more clearly as I am beginning to remember all the good times we had together.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you again for everything you did for us."

Lap of Love Veterinarian: Jo Parr"We’ve know Dr.Parr ever since she had joined Neffsville vet hospital. She is a caring and wonderful vet. She was always great with Bailey and us, as pet parents. When Bailey was having a rough time she helped us thru his passing. She walked us thru step by step and was gentle and caring with our precious boy. I questioned myself so many times because it’s one of the hardest decisions anyone will ever make, but Dr.Parr helped me to know it was the right decision. Thanks to Dr. Parr and Lap of Love for making one of the hardest days bearable."Marie HardenManheimJuly 22, 2020Bailey's Pet Memorial

Lap of Love Veterinarian: Lauren Chapman"Saying goodbye to our loyal furry family members is never easy. So, saying goodbye to our precious little Kiwi was going to be incredibly difficult after the many years of unconditional love and joy she brought to our family. However, thanks to Dr. Lauren, this incredibly difficult day was transformed into a loving experience that allowed us all to say goodbye in the comfort of Kiwi's home. From the very beginning, Dr. Lauren helped to put us all at ease with her professionalism and kindness. From beginning to end, Dr. Lauren helped our family through the process by calmly and empathetically explaining each step in the process. She patiently allowed us space to grieve and to say goodbye while she professionally went about doing what she needed to. Never once did we feel rushed, confused or uncomfortable through the process. Dr. Lauren ensured that this difficult situation be moved through with patience and compassion, and for that we cannot thank her, or recommend her enough."Terese MoakSan DiegoJuly 22, 2020

When we had to say goodbye to our sweet girl, Millie, we knew Lap of Love would take good care of her. Dr. Liz was so kind and caring. She made a terrible day much easier. We are so very grateful to her for her kindness and compassion.
