“There is no exercise better for the heart than reaching down and lifting people up.”
Dr. AshleighDearest Ashleigh I can’t thank you enough for coming to our home for our precious Bailey. You are truly an angel and I’ll never forget you.

Dr. MichelleAfter 12 1⁄2 years of child (pet) custody, I had to send my baby back to God. I know she is back in his arms covered in his love and protection. I thought about this decision long and hard. In the quiet of meditation I was asked to think about it as shared child custody; with her father living over seas. It is now time to send her back to him and allow him the honor of gifting her with new soul and spirit experiences. Imaging The Veterinarian from Lap of Love being the pilot of the airplane taking her to her new destination. When I explained that to our Veterinarian, Dr. Michelle, she looked up and smiled. I am completing my pilots licenses. My family comes from a long line of pilots. (I knew right then that was my sign I was making the right decision.) After her passing her companion of the past two years – AJ, came out and laid next to her body giving her kisses for the longest time. As we put her body on the stretcher carried and placed her in the car, AJ ushered us out, walking along the stretcher never leaving her side. He then turned and walked back into the house with me. MY HEART IS BROKEN!! Unfortunately, this is the second time I’ve had to use Lap of Love, and I can tell you...They are amazing. From that first inquiry phone call until they are returned back home to their final resting place. Lap of Love does an incredible job of honoring you, your pet, your home and property and the support they provide is unparalleled. I hope you never have to make this decision. But, if you do, I hope you find it in your heart to honor your pet with love, respect and dignity by using Lap of Love.

Dr. KatieKatie was so patient and kind in the passing of Miller. She helped us make it as special as could be for our boy. Very grateful for her.

Dr. HeatherDr. Heather helped me on my worst day. I received the unexpected news that my fur baby of almost 15 years would not be able to go on much further and I had to make the decision for a peaceful ending. The Lap of Love staff were incredibly understanding as I struggled to determine the date and time. Once Dr. Heather arrived she had a very calming presence, explained the process, and began. She was also very understanding of my other fur baby getting in the way and wanting treats, seeming oblivious to what was happening. Although the process moved quickly, I was very thankful for her compassion and kindness in one of the worst experiences in my life. I am not sure how she could be so strong, but I am forever thankful for her service on that day.
