Myself and my family are so grateful to know Zeus was able to find peace in his final moments, and Dr. Brian was extremely sensitive and respectful to what we were experiencing.
When we made the hard decision that it was time for our 12-year-old Great Dane to cross the rainbow bridge we reached out to Lap of Love. Our regular veterinary practice does not offer in-home euthanasia, so we always knew we would seek an alternative so that our dog could be comfortable and her brother could be there to say goodbye. From the moment I called, I knew we had made the correct choice. The gentleman I spoke to (sorry, I forget his name) was so understanding and helpful. I got all of the information and had to discuss with my husband, then called back and he was always kind and understanding. Dr. Jess contacted us prior to arriving and I was able to discuss how we wanted to say goodbye and she was so accommodating. This can't be an easy "job", but her care and compassion during such a difficult time for us was amazing. Even though this wasn't our first loss, she walked us through everything that would happen and let us choose when we were ready. Saying goodbye to Cinder was hard, but she made it a peaceful experience and never rushed us. Thank you to Lap of Love for this service.

Dr. Lauren was patient and understanding. She reassured me that I was doing the right thing at the right time. I was very hesitant that I was letting her go prematurely, but dr Lauren told me her professional opinion and was shocked she was still walking and eating. That helped me accept the position we were in. She allowed me time to grieve and never pushed or asked me to speed up the process. She didn’t question my families way of coping and allowed us to all kiss my sweet petunia and watch her drive away.
