Meeko was a beautiful Orange Tabby with one green eye and blue eye. He was 17 years old and was diabetic. We knew he couldn't be with us forever, so we as a family decided it was time for him to cross the rainbow bridge. Upon making arrangements, we knew it was better to do this at home. Meeko didn't especially like going to the vet. On July 14, 2026, Dr. Sam Counts came over and was so nice to us and Meeko. Dr. Sam gave us time to say good bye and we when we were ready, she gave us some treats that we could give him while she administered the drugs that put him to sleep. It was fast, my daughter got to hold him in her arms. Dr. Sam put Meeko into a basket and put him into her car that was decorated inside and drove away. It has been over two months and I still call for him whenever I come home. I truly believe this was where it should have happened and I will remember this forever. Thank you Dr. Sam.

Dr. Jessica Dewar was so kind with us in our final time with our beloved Bee. She created a space that honored our family and allowed for a peaceful passing. I appreciated the calm energy and walking us through what would happen, and also that she was both there and steady but also gave us space. Not an easy balance to hold. We're very grateful.

We had Sandy for more than 11 years, and she was by my side through nearly every major transition in my adult life. When it came time to say goodbye, I was absolutely heartbroken. Dr. Allison was the ultimate professional while also showing our family so much compassion. She gave us the time and space we needed to say goodbye without ever making us feel rushed, and her kindness made an incredibly difficult experience a little easier. She also provided materials to help us navigate the grief. I am especially grateful to have Sandy’s paw print and the beautiful box containing her ashes so I can always keep a piece of her with me. I would recommend Dr. Allison and this practice to anyone facing that difficult final step in their pet’s life. The compassion and dignity they showed Sandy and our family meant so much to us.
