Dr. Heather is truly an angel on earth. She showed up to our house this past weekend to help my husband and I do the hardest thing imaginable. Say goodbye to our baby boy Peachfuzz aka The Fuzz, who we had the pleasure of sharing 23 amazing years with. He wasn't just a cat, he was our baby. Dr. Heather immediately put us at ease. Walking us through each step and ensuring us we were making the right decision. I couldn't have gotten through this without her by our side. She showed up a stranger and left as a trusted friend. Thank you Dr. Heather for doing this hard but so very important work. May you know how deeply you are appreciated.
I would like to thank Maggie for all the kindness and compassion she showed myself and my niece when we had to say our goodbyes to my precious Hayhay . Chevy, I called him the son I never had. Sweetest dog on earth. He was so social, he loved every person and every animal he ever met. That didn't always work out so well for him! lol When I knew it was his time and called the "Lap of Love", they handled me with the gentle care and compassion I needed to get through it. From the very first phone call to the sweet personal card I got in my mailbox from Dr Suzy.
Dr. Kate came out on a Saturday for our sweet Nola. She immediately made us feel at ease about what was about to happen. She was a calming presence and felt like a friend we were sharing the experience with. She offered such genuine comments and a hug that I think we truly needed. Dr. Kate had brought an adorable pillow that her daughter had given her to make sure our Nola was comfortable in transport. It made me happy knowing that there was so much care put into this. Dr. Kate emailed us the next day as well and made us feel very seen. She was such a lovely person and is doing exactly what she was meant to.
