“There is no exercise better for the heart than reaching down and lifting people up.”
Our experience couldn't have been better. We had, of course, dreaded the procedure, but Dr. Molly made it as easy as possible and we are most grateful.
Our family will always be grateful to Dr. Anna McEvoy for the extraordinary compassion and kindness she showed during one of the most difficult days of our lives. From the moment she arrived at our home, Dr. McEvoy treated not only our beloved Labrador, Lillian, with the utmost dignity and gentleness, but also cared deeply for every member of our family. She never rushed us, answered every question with patience, and created a peaceful, comforting environment that allowed us to focus entirely on saying goodbye to Lil. What touched us most was the genuine empathy she showed throughout the visit. She understood that we weren't simply losing a pet—we were saying goodbye to a cherished member of our family. Her calm presence and thoughtful guidance gave us the reassurance that we were making the most loving decision for Lil. We were especially moved by the care she extended to our three-year-old Labrador, Murphy. Although he couldn't understand what was happening, Dr. McEvoy welcomed his presence with kindness and recognized that he, too, was part of our family and experiencing the loss in his own way. Because of Dr. McEvoy's professionalism, warmth, and compassion, Lil's passing was peaceful and filled with love. While saying goodbye will always be heartbreaking, we find comfort in knowing that her final moments were spent in her own home, surrounded by her family, under the care of someone who treated her with such tenderness and respect. Thank you, Dr. McEvoy, for helping us give our sweet Lil the peaceful farewell she deserved. Your kindness will never be forgotten.
Dr. Michelle showed us compassion, care, and respect in one of our darkest moments as a family. She gently explained the process and did everything perfectly. I couldn't have asked for a better experience for my little princess. It was perfect and it wouldn't have been the same without her stable, guiding presence throughout the process. From the bottom of my heart, thank you Dr. Michelle for helping to make one of the worst days of my life the best for my Henrietta.
At the most difficult time Dr. Sam brought comfort to our tough decision to euthanize our Saint Bernard, Pebbles. She reassured us that we were making the right decision based on Pebbles condition. She explained the process with detail and administered more comfort meds while waiting patiently for our Pebbles to relax before inserting the IV. She made sure we were ready every step of the way. Upon passing she gave us time to say our goodbyes and we never felt rushed. Before she left she gave us all a hug and treated us like family. We’ve used Lap of Love when we lived up North and from the first call to the doctors they have on staff it’s the most comfortable way to say goodbye to your fur baby. Thank you Dr. Sam for taking such good care of Pebbles and our family, you may never truly know what your kindness means to a family facing the toughest decision and biggest heartbreak. 🫶🏻 - The Hernandez Family
