“There is no exercise better for the heart than reaching down and lifting people up.”
Dr. Thuy made this experience even more peaceful, she explained everything to us and Carlos actually stood up and wagges his tail and approached her even though he didn’t feel good. She gave him bacon treats and when the sedative stung a bit he still trusted her enough to keep eating the little bacon treats. I am glad she was the one to help Carlos cross the rainbow bridge.
Dr. Allison was fantastic caring for Snickers.
Dr. Inez was so kind and caring. We are so grateful that Junebug was in such wonderful hands at the end of her life.
I am extremely grateful you were there for us. I recognize that even though what happened was an act of love for Amos, it is a very difficult choice to make. But I don’t think I have the words to express my gratitude for being there for us and for Amos. You helped us with the process of sending our last goodbye to a part of our family in the home he grew up in. It makes me happy knowing he was surrounded by the people who loved him and felt safe. He wasn’t alone and I held him as he moved on.
