Lap of Love Veterinarian: Barry Cherno, DVM"Dr Barry was wonderful. He explained everything in detail, was tender and considerate with us and little Scooter. She passed peacefully in my lap. If I had to make the difficult decision again, I would most certainly use Lap of Love again. Thank you Dr Barry and thank you Lap of Love for existing."Roberta PrymulaClearwater, FloridaJanuary 8, 2014Scooter's Pet Memorial

Lap of Love Veterinarian: Katie Stender, DVM"To Dr. Katie,
I can't even begin to discribe what you did for my husband and myself on Jan 3rd, but more importantly what you did for our beloved Sneakers. We have had to make this difficult decision a number of times but this time we needed it to be different. The caring, compassion and empathy that you showed us was beyond the bounds of Vet and patient, it came straight from your heart. We gave our girl a good life but you gave us something much more, a quiet, respectable, and loving passing for our sweet one. You gave us the chance to give to back to her for all that she gave to us for 21 years. We will forever be grateful."

Lap of Love Veterinarian: Laura Allison, DVM"Beauty was a tiny, shy little cat with lustrous black hair, a heart-shaped face, an expressive "meow", and lovely emerald green eyes. Her comanionship with Doreen made their house a loving home. Then she bacame ill and Laura helped them both to release her from her discomfort , frustration, and further suffering. She is truly gifted in her profession."Norah SullivanLighthouse Point, FloridaJanuary 7, 2014
Lap of Love Veterinarian: Juliana Lyles, DVM"Dr Juliana Lyles was absolutely wonderful when she came to our home to see our dog Lexi. Although this was one of the most difficult and saddest things we have ever done, Dr Lyles made everyone feel as comfortable as possible. Her compassion and empathy was honest and true. It was very comforting to know we made the right decision. Thank you!"Lexi TinsleyLisle, IllinoisJanuary 7, 2014
Lap of Love Veterinarian: Kaleigh McVety, DVM"Its never easy when you realize your pet is no longer living for him but now living for you. Many of Oliver's favorite things he loved to do, he no longer could. It was than we knew we had to do what was best for Oliver and not for us. We wanted Oliver's crossing over to be done at home, surrounded by love. But mostly we wanted to be done as painless and as comfortable for him as possible.
There was no other Doctor I would recommend more than Dr. Kaleigh. She was so compassionate and loving with Oliver. She was also sensitive and understanding with the many emotions we were going through . Somehow we just knew Oliver's last moments were going to be handled with love and kindness in skillful hands we could trust.
We had considered using Oliver's regular vet but We both felt this moment of letting go needed to be handled and done by someone who was very experienced who specialized in this area.
With Dr Kaleigh, we never felt rushed or put on a tight schedule. She was very patient and sympathetic with us and Oliver and extremely proficient with her veterinarian medical skills. It was easy to see this was not just a job for her but a labor of love in saying goodbye to your beloved pet. Oliver took his last breath at home surrounded by love, kindness and compassion. We couldn't have asked for such a emotional and touching situation to have ended any better.
Thank you Dr. Kaleigh and Ben"

Lap of Love Veterinarian: Laura Allison, DVM"Dr. Laura was without-a-doubt one of the most tender and caring vets I have ever met. From her initial hospice visit to the final farewell she had compassion and empathy that was truly comforting. Dr. Mary had helped my first fur-baby cross the Rainbow Bridge which was my first experience with Lap of Love -- no wonder she is the one who hand-picks these remarkably sensitive vets. Neither Cricket nor Beauty experienced trauma or fear, but assurance that pain would cease. Thank you both!"Doreen GauthierLighthouse Point, FloridaJanuary 6, 2014Beauty's Pet Memorial
Lap of Love Veterinarian: Katie Billmaier, DVM"It was a week ago that my dear boy, Jake left us and far too soon. He was only seven but had been suffering from lymphoma for the last 2 years. He rallied through 2 remissions but he stopped eating and it became clear that it was approaching time for us to make that last difficult choice. Dr. Katie was so kind and really understood how difficult this was for me. We met once for a consultation and then 2 days later it was time for Jake to go on to a better place.
Dr Katie gave us the time needed to say goodbye. She spoke so sweetly to Jake, her presence was calming. Jake's brother Jack wandered around the room and even sniffed into her bag, but she never lost focus or patience. Jake's last moments here were peaceful and worthy of what an amazing dog he was. I am very grateful to Dr. Katie and would strongly recommend her."

Lap of Love Veterinarian: Katie Stender, DVM"Dr. Katie,

Thank you for your email. I planned on reaching out to you in the next few days to thank you for your saintly work. I can't imagine the daily emotional toll your profession puts on you because you obviosuly care so much for your clients. You gave Murphy a giant gift in that he was able to avoid his last hours in a car/vet waiting room and instead spent this precious time at home. I appreciated our long conversation and your thoughtful view on his condition, our options, and your past experiences with dogs in his state. Telling me, "Its better to do this a week early, than 15 minutes to late" really put my heart and head into agreement. Being able to look into his eyes as he faded was something I wanted to make sure I was there for. You made this happen for us. "Thank you" doesn't due justice to my gratitude, but THANK YOU!! Ned,Kelly, Liam and Murphy Hennessey"

Lap of Love Veterinarian: Annie Dion-Byrd, DVM"Ending our beloved Rex's suffering was one of the toughest decisions of my life...our 11 year old Lab's rear end had been deteriorating for months..he was also filled with tumor which his vet said there was nothing we could do.?he could barely walk himself out side to go to the bathroom..I was told that we could have someone come to the house so I googled and came upon Lap of Love...I called Thursday morning and Annie came at 4pm that day.. I knew if I thought about it too long I may delay the inevitable out of fear! We have spent the last month nursing my husband back to life after a planned surgery gone wrong and he was not mentally prepared to participate. It was all on me to keep it together for our teenage kids who had grown up with Rex for the last 11 years! They were so distraught so I knew I couldn't loose it for their sake! Annie made that possible for me as a wife, mother, and lover of this animal who I believe understood every word I ever said to him! She walked us through every step of the way!!! We held him in our arms as he took his last breath! I would recommend this service and especially Annie to anyone who lives in this area!! This really wasn't the experience I was expecting!!! This was so peaceful and calm and loving I just don't have enough adjectives to explain!! Annie took him from our house after time to say goodbye!! I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for helping us thru this!!"Mary ClevengerKissimmee, FloridaJanuary 5, 2014

Lap of Love Veterinarian: Brad Bates, VMD"Dr. Brad was amazing to us and Auzzie at this very difficult time. He continually stayed in touch with us as we were making our decision and made himself available when we were ready. He explained every step to us and gave us as much time as we needed to say good-bye. He made this very sad time a great experience for us. It was such a gift to have Auzzie leave us from his own home. I would recomend Dr. Brad to everyone I know."Hilary ScannapiecoLafayette Hil, PennsylvaniaJanuary 2, 2014Auzzie's Pet Memorial

I have done this before, but it was different this time... She gave a kiss to his finger ( she hated strangers and Men!) . I would Deffinately call him again!"Pamela RhodesHatboro, PennsylvaniaJanuary 1, 2014
Lap of Love Veterinarian: Cindi Worrall, DVM"I had read about Dr. Cindi on the Reading Eagle months ago, making a mental note for whenever the time would come that we would have to put our fur baby Riggs down. The Veterinary office we go to had always been ruled out, he hated that place. From the second we would walk through the front door until the time we left he was a mess and his anxiety level was through the roof. I did not want to put him or my family through that, especially if it would make the situation more devastating then it needed to be. I am sooo thankful that I made that mental note that day about Dr. Cindi because she was an angel throughout the entire experience. Dr. Cindi instantly got on the floor with Riggs in the living room, he was so excited to make a new friend. She talked to him in such a calm, sweet voice to make sure he was relaxed. She didn't stop petting him or giving him attention while she talked my family and I through the process in which we were about to experience. There was absolutely no rushing, she gave us the time to say goodbye before and after his passing. Her multiple "im so sorry" and the big hug she gave me before departing, made the experience the best it could have possible been. Several days later to my surprise we received a sympathy card with a beautiful hand written message inside. She was such a gift to us through this traumatic experience. We miss our Riggs so much, the emptiness in our hearts will forever be there. We are forever thankful."Jana MillerBechtelsville, PennsylvaniaJanuary 1, 2014
Lap of Love Veterinarian: Brad Bates, VMD"Dr. Bates just left our home with our beloved Rottie, Baxter. I feel so calm and confident of our decision to both put Bax to sleep and to use Lap of Love. Dr. Bates was incredibly kind and understanding of our pain. He was great with our Bax and included our other dog,Rags, as part of the family. We loved our Baxter, best damn dog in the world, and we will miss him terribly but I feel blessed that we had the opportunity to let him go in the manner that we did. Thank you Dr.Bates.
