Helping Families Honor the Lives Of Those They Love
Lap of Love Veterinarian: Kelly Stockton"Dr. Kelly was an absolute light on our darkest day. She was kind, patient, gentle, and so loving to our boy. She handled our Cash and ourselves with the upmost respect and care. She even played Johnny Cash music on our boy’s final ride. Though we are heartbroken, we couldn’t have had a better experience. I can’t recommend Dr. Kelly and her services more. Thank you for everything."Ashley McGintyAnnapolisAugust 6, 2020Cash's Pet Memorial
Lap of Love Veterinarian: Christina Scudder"Words will never express how difficult it is to make this kind of decision for your best friend, but Lap of Love gives gentle and caring reassurance and assistance from beginning to end. I appreciate being able to look at this website for current testimonials form others going through this painful process, the ease and sensitivity in scheduling the appointment over the phone with Suzie, and of course the very tender and caring way that Dr. Chris helped with our boy Damien. I was a wreck and kept trying to second guess myself, thinking maybe I should reschedule. But I certainly had not made this decision lightly. After prayerful consideration, I knew that I could not bare to let my little boy continue to deteriorate in pain from swiftly advancing cancer. Dr. Chris has a lot of experience and reassured me that our babies put a lot of energy into those "good days" and usually suffer greatly when people delay their original decision. I truly appreciate her kindness in my despair, taking her time to listen to me and reassure me. And it was truly a blessing to say goodbye in the comfort our home, with Damien at ease to the end. Ultimately, we'll always have pain no matter what when we lose our beloved friend, but I am grateful for choosing Lap of Love."Tracy St. JohnST. LOUISAugust 6, 2020

A fellow dog lover told me about Lap of Love and I knew when it was time that this was the way I wanted to go. Dr. Desiree was incredibly compassionate and gentle with both us and our girl. Lap of Love Veterinarian: Caroline Kiert"Dr. Caroline was the perfect choice for us to help Rico cross to Rainbow Bridge. She was calming, patient, and comforting to both Rico and his people. She gave us plenty of private time to say goodbye, and we never felt rushed.

She treated us and Rico with tremendous dignity, even as she wrapped him up in a blanket, she was very careful with his body.

She made a really gut-wrenching day easier, and while I hope it is a LONG time before we need to see her again, I would call again without hesitation.

Dr. Caroline has our deepest gratitude for helping our Rico gain his wings as he left a giant hole in our hearts."

Lap of Love Veterinarian: Daniel Genatiempo""This is the way it should be when you have to make the decision to let them go. Dan was nice and let us proceed at our own pace. Answered all the questions we had and explained what would happen. He understands that this isn't some animal this is a member of your family. He informed us that she was gone and let us have time to take it all in.He treated her with such care after she had passed gently placing her in her basket and placing a blanket gently over it. He let us have all the time to touch her and say goodbye for the final time. They made it possible to have her pass away in her own home with the ones she loved .If you have to make this decision this is how you want it to be.""Jeff ColwellIndianapolisAugust 5, 2020Gia's Pet Memorial

Lap of Love Veterinarian: Desiree Thomas"There are no words to express our gratitude to Lap of Love and specifically Dr. Desiree. We were agonizing over the decision to say goodbye to our beloved 15yr old chocolate Lab Bailey. His quality of life had deteriorated to the point He was in obvious pain despite medication. We found them through a search and thank God for that. Dr. Desiree came to Our home to allow Us to say goodbye in the most comfortable surroundings for Us and for Bailey. After getting to know Our Boy, Dr. Desiree explained the procedure and truly offered support that We were making a decision out of Love and compassion. Dr. Desiree is a kind and caring Doctor. We were treated with heartwarming compassion throughout this difficult time. I highly recommend Lap of Love to any pet Parent having to go through this heart wrenching decision. Lap of Love Veterinarian: Amara Hickson"Making the decision to let Simon go was the most difficult thing our family has ever done. Knowing that it is time, and even right for your pet, does not make it any easier. Lap of Love was a great blessing for us through the entire process. And, when the time came, Dr. Amara was beyond wonderful. She understood our heartbreak, and showed us profound empathy and compassion. There is absolutely no way to have made Simon's passing less heartbreaking, but Dr. Amara helped us through it and enabled us to give Simon the beautiful gift of a peaceful passing."Kelly GallimorePowder SpringsAugust 4, 2020Simon's Pet Memorial
Lap of Love Veterinarian: Heather Manfredi"I cannot express my sincere gratitude to Dr. Heather Manfredi. My gratitude is enormous for her compassion, kindness, love and true empathy along with her outstanding Veterinary knowledge during the difficult time in our lives with letting go of our beloved
Bella. We first met Dr. Heather when my daughter had to say goodbye to her 10 year old chihuahua. After learning that our 60lb Bruno had an inoperable mass and an enlarged spleen we contacted her to come to our home in August 2019. Less than a year later we would need her again for our almost 15 year old Pug, Bella. With broken hearts she held us lovingly in her arms and helped us to handle the transition from our time with our furry family members to their cross over to Rainbow Bridge. We would not have had the kind of experience in a normal veterinary setting. We had an actual service with an Amazing Human Being whom we will never forget, ever. We will continue to hold her in our hearts forever for loving us through our loss. For those of you who may need to say goodbye to your furry family member please call Laps of Love, its the only way for you and your pet to to let go and let them be at peace with you in your own home. Give them the same love at the end you did all their lives, they deserve it and so do you! Many, many thanks and love to you Dr. Heather, we will never forget you, and Bruno & Bella are looking down at you with gratitude and love as well!!"

Lap of Love Veterinarian: Charlie Deutsch"I am so glad we found you. Due to the current pandemic the veterinarian office would not allow anyone in to be with our sweet girl while she gained her wings. That wasn’t an option letting her go alone. She hated the vet anyways and she got to pass peacefully at home. Dr. Charlie was amazing kind patient compassionate professional and understanding. He treated our bear like he had known her her whole life. I will never let another animal not be at home even after the pandemic. Sugar bear was a rescue in the first few years of her life we’re not great but she gave us eight years of love and devotion she deserve to be here at home. I’m so glad we found you. Thank you for making such a difficult time for us a little easier and 100% making sugar the most comfortable and peaceful she could’ve ever been. She left this world in her favorite spot surrounded by the people that loved her."Mary BarnwellLake forestAugust 4, 2020
