Streeter was a good dog, a fixture of our family who loved people and distrusted other dogs (except other spaniels!)
Roxy will live in our hearts forever. The memories we have will carry us through this pain of losing her always.
My GiGi was taken too soon. She was kind and loving, always by my side. Protective and sometimes quirky, she would make me smile. She resides in heaven now where she is waiting…my little angel.
⸻ Timba 🐾💛 We always knew Timba was an angel, and we were lucky to have her with us for a little over 15 years. On Saturday, it was time for her to return to heaven. And we still can’t find the words to express what her absence feels like. Hija, we’re going to miss your smile, your loving gaze, your tiny tail that made you so unique, and that little wiggle we loved so much. We’ll miss hugging you, kissing your sweet face, saying good morning, watching your happy dance when you ate, and your demands to never stop being spoiled. You were there for everything—through our student years, graduations, six moves, trips, birthdays, barbecues, Christmases, Thanksgivings. You carried the rings at our wedding. Thank you to our family for always making her feel like the guest of honor. You were with us in our happiest moments, and the one who comforted us with your tenderness during our hardest. With just one look, you always knew when your silent hugs were needed. You were everyone’s favorite roommate, my co-worker, the most loved in the office. You had babysitters who fought over the chance to take care of you—because taking care of you was a privilege. You were the joy of your grandparents and, though I say it with a bit of jealousy, I have to admit your favorite person was your uncle. Our daughter, our baby. Today I imagine you happy, on a beach, swimming and playing in the waves, coming out of the ocean all wet to roll in the sand, then gazing out at the horizon while the breeze moves your ears. Timba, we love you and we will love you forever—with an infinite love. A soul like yours leaves an eternal mark. You touched so many hearts, stole smiles even from the grumpiest ones. You left us with countless lessons and the joy of having experienced a love and a connection like no other. Thank you for your life, for everything. We’ll remember you as the most beautiful thing that ever happened to us. 💔
PJ, my heart, my soul. Words fail to capture the depth of our loss. You were more than a dog—you were my best friend, my constant companion, my source of comfort, joy, and unconditional love. A beacon of light with a gentle soul, you had an uncanny ability to understand everything and everyone around you. You were my adventure buddy, my cuddle companion, my shadow. Life feels quiet without your paws beside me. I hope you're at peace now—running freely, basking in the sun, and surrounded by love. I’ll be looking for you in every sunset, every breeze, every quiet moment when the world feels still. Until we meet again, sweet boy. You are missed beyond measure and loved beyond words. ❤️
Every heeler needs a job to do.
For 16 years Snow blessed our family with his beautiful presence. Snow gifted us with wonderful memories, laughter, companionship, loyalty and most importantly, love. Not a day will go by that we won’t remember and cherish him. Rest in peace to our doggy guardian angel.
It is with great sadness that the Svoboda family announces that Zooey Svoboda, 13 years old, of Chicago, Illinois (proud Lakeview East pup) crossed the rainbow bridge on July 15, 2025 with some of her favorite people by her side. She spent the days prior getting many pets from those who loved her and going to her favorite places including Rocks, Montrose Dog Beach and West Town Bakery. Zooey was preceded in death by her Uncle Rigby and is likely meeting all the pets we’ve ever loved before on the rainbow bridge right now. She is survived by her mom, Alison, her Grandma and Grandpa, her aunts Amanda (Will), Ellie and Penny Lane, cousin Clyde and countless human and dog and cat friends. In lieu of flowers, please buy your dog or cat their favorite treat and please if you have any photos of Zooey, send them to her mom and always continue to talk about her. She will never be forgotten and was truly loved so much.
Maggie was our baby, our best friend, and our cuddle buddy. She was always at the door to meet us with a wagging tail. Her love for us and ours to her was unconditional. There is a hole in our hearts now that she has passed. She will always be loved and remembered and we will see her again in heaven.
The most lovable cat I have ever known. He was everyone's best friend and would let them know it! He loved to play games and was always there for anything. He also sensed when things were tough and he would be your shadow until things lightened up.
